A quaint speech won't stop Trump from escalating the tariffs. Once the tariffs have been maxed out, all that's left to do is to order the American tanks to roll over the Canadian border. Germany did the same with Austria 3 days. Trump über alles.

I am an American and Canadian. I live in America. It is INSANE to me that (from what I hear) people dislike Trudeau enough for him to resign, yet I see him here acting respectfully, intelligently, honorably. This is what a good country has reasonably decided to be a bad politician.\n\nPan over to America, and our man in office is egotistical, irrational, dishonorable. His lust for power drives him to split the country and burn our bridges. We are meant to be a good country. We can't agree to call him bad.

So Canada stands with Child traffickers, rapists, murders and drug runners got it. And look at all the communist Americans that take that side. Thank God Trump Won ! Kick all Canadian businesses out of US. Stop all Aid and military funding shut Canada down. Deport all illegals to Canada.

Okay, so US tariffs are bad and will cause financial trouble for both Americans and Canadians. Won’t Canadian Tariffs do the same thing? Furthermore, Canada will not win a Tariff war with the US. Canada’s response is not rational, nor is it in the best interest of the country. What about working with Trump to understand what it takes to remove all tariffs.

Very proud of our Prime Minister!!! The Trump administration is currently destroying America. While Canadians' outrage over Trump's policies is still understandable, we now witness Americans who ought to stand with their president choose to support this hypocritical person, Trudeau, who has persecuted and still persecutes many of his fellow citizens, including truck drivers and anti-vaccine activists, in the name of freedom of speech. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it. Go after American retailers in Canada. Go after Walmart, Home Depot, Costco and Best Buy. We also have a plethora of American restaurants in Canada, Justin should tax them all. Tariffs seems to be everything to do with fentanyl and other drugs that is costing American and Canadian lives. Lets stay positive and totally eliminate trafficking this drug that is taking lives of many people.

Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? There are American banks in Canada. There are not many since they have to follow Canadian rules just like Canadian banks have to follow Canadian rules
