I would be honest with you most of people who leave Canada can have a good life in their home countries (mainly people who say this are from Europe or advanced country in Asia ), well if in your home country you can't make a life at all then what's the point of going back and what I'm taling about here is mainly African countries where everything is expensive and scarce, us living in third country we can even make enough money for a cost of flight alone in a one year of work, wages here can come to be 50$ USD a month that's if your lucky (and not even to say that you will spend most of them on food and health care)

I like how y’all have created this video by not applying a negative undertone rather more of an informative approach to caution prospective movers of what potentially awaits them. All I would like to highlight is the fact that some people will experience all these points as negative aspects or maybe even one or two that might lead to the breaking point.\nIt all depends on where you come from and how life was in your “home” country.\nYou might come from a higher tax environment with non existent healthcare and education. From that perspective, 40% taxes might look better and the healthcare might be great or crap depending on what your health issues are. I personally haven’t had any struggles with most of these aspects - finding a great job was relatively easier, (key word - relatively) the healthcare system worked for me when I needed it to, I was mentally prepared for the high taxes, I culturally adapted to the point where people thought I was Canadian and didn’t realize I came in from a very different environment. I’m sure this cultural adaptation helped me with my job and made it easier to live here.\nAll in all, you can say I’ve had the “perfect” immigrant experience that most people would dream of. But what do i think really? Personally, I have come to realize that Canada at the moment does not fit into my personal goals and values and that is okay. Loneliness away from people you love can be tough. It just isn’t the same feeling making new friends and hanging out with coworkers who are much older than you are and in a different place in life. I’m very close to my family and friends who I’ve grown up with and are on the other side of the world. My parents are getting older and I want to spend as much time with them as possible. For that reason, I might consider being somewhere closer to them. I’d perhaps consider coming back here some day when I’ve got my own family and kids which I currently don’t have. To me, that’s a personal value high on the list. I guess my only takeaway from this video and advise to people looking at each of these points - take each one and compare it with your home country. If you think you’re better off in Canada, then move - it’s a great place! If not, think about it real hard and weigh out the pros and cons.

I lived everywhere in Canada except the Territories, Manitoba, and N.B., and I always come back to Quebec. It's NOT that it's better in everything. It's just that it's better in everything that counts for ME!!!\n- It's the CHEAPEST place to rent or own but has great wages and a high minimum. \n- Most of our cities are in the St-Lawrence valley. That means we have a LOT of local produce in-season. \n- We have a diversified economy. Less manufacturing and heavy stuff than Ontario, but LOTS of high-tech and knowledge-based jobs. With a HUGE service industry, bloated by the constant influx of tourists.\n- It's got the BEST quality of social life in the country. It's an all-year party and club season. \n- It's got FOUR real and distinct seasons.\n- It's almost as beautiful outside as BC. Until autumn and the colors, then it's better for a few weeks.\n- It's got the BEST social net in the country. \n- It's got the most beautiful women too. No question whatsoever about that one.\nAnd it's the SAFEST... That and being cheap to live in are the two main points. I'm bilingual, so I don't care about the French-only oddities, they are few and far between. It's 2021, not 1980. The Internet and Cable tv from the US changed EVERYTHING. ALL of the kids and young adults will answer you in English if you aren't acting like a jerk. So will almost anyone under 60.

The point is, I have been a minority here in india and the hate I receive for being a follower of a religion make them hate on me and my fellow people. I really wanna get out of this shithole. I'm also feeling very suicidal thinking about the situation I'm in. I have reached a point where I have started hating hindus(majority religion in india) and btw this Kumar belongs to the hindu group. Ik I need help with my hate part but you have no idea the amount of hate and racist and communalist comments I receive daily for just following a certain religion. I would really appreciate someone helping me out or give me some sort of advice to keep my feelings about a whole religion normal and not hateful

People leave every country (if their government allows it) and people enter every country (if that government allows it). That is life - each country has its good and bad points depending on where you live, your personal list of things of must-haves, and your personal bubble of friends and family. I laugh about Vancouver being rainy - it's getting too warm and dry. I miss the rains and colder temperatures - this is not Hawaii LOL Some people have weird expectations. I'm glad Vancouver doesn't have much snow but I'm sure some will complain about that.\n\nTo generalize about any city, country, etc. is just odd - ask yourself what you're looking for, visit at different times of the year, etc. Don't just talk to a handful of people or just visit once LOL It's like changing jobs - sometimes it's the best decision to leave a country or city and sometimes it's not. In other words, DO YOUR RESEARCH and EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF! Some places you'll love and some places you won't - we love California but would not want to live in a warm place 24/7 but others would. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT but also realize you can change locations later... and yes, children are resilient and no, you don't need your family to help out otherwise why have kids to begin with.

To all you ungrateful foreigners. You had the good fortune of being admitted to the greatest nation on earth. Don't be slagging this and that about Canada, because I'm sure it beats your country of origin. And, don't be fooled by all the 'rah rah USA' garbage. They have a much higher crime rate, rampant inner city violence, poorly maintained infrastructure, a horrible school system, race riots, shitty health care. I could go on. Thanks for making this video. After nearly 13 years as of Jan 1st 2022, I'll be leaving Canada on a one-way ticket; not to my country of origin, but further into new ventures.\n\nIt's been a slog to become a citizen and try and make life work here. It's a good place to be successful financially if you make sound choices, and then to live a fairly quiet, isolated life. If all you want is to live within your own ethnic community and have a better quality of life, it's a good place.\n\nUnfortunately, it's never had enough culture or meaning for me. Life feels pretty empty no matter how much money you make. The national identity being based around home-ownership feels extremely depressing to me.\n\nAnd you're both on point about the reserved, passive-aggressive nature of Canadians. I've become like that too now. It's pretty obvious that it costs us dearly; people are unable to be genuinely warm, to take risks and form real friendships. Everything feels surface-level because no one risks taking the steps that might even be a bit of intrusion into each other's lives that is the signal of the start of a close friendship. I'm sick of the surface relationships I've had here.\n\nAnd the wholesale import of U.S. narratives with complete ignorance of our own realities. Most Canadians think they live in the U.S. and seem unable to name a single important issue in their own province or country. I'm currently planning to immigrate to Canada. As for me, the very reason why I want to move there is to have better life. There are some great points mentioned to this video but for some cases, most especially if you talk about other underpriviledge countries, Canada is much more better. I'm from the Philippines and I would say that our country is suffering from everything. High price of goods, salary for CAD375 minimum (for a month even you're bachelor degree holder), no health benefits (unless you are working in a private company that offers benefits), no educational benefits (I would consider scholarship but that wouldn't enough to survive in every semester that you'll take). Senior Citizens / PWD that only gets benefit from their 20% discount in every purchase they make for medicine and food and seniors sometimes didn't get their pensions... so on and so forth.\n\nI think, it all boils down from what country you came from and differences of the gov't system that they have. And all of us needs to work hard to get a better life. It will always depends on our decision on what lifestyle do you choose or how do you live your life or what life do you want to live.\n\nBut to conclude this, this is a great video. This a great heads up for those who wants to come to Canada.

I'm of Scottish/Irish descent and few people are whiter than I am plus I have freckles and auburn hair. I had just moved to Orlando and dropped off several prescriptions to an Eckerd's drugstore. Rather than leaving and returning 30 to 45 minutes later decided to look around and see the store layout for future reference. I wasn't wearing a coat and I never opened my purse. I got my prescriptions and left the store. An alarm beeped and the manager came outside, grabbed my arm and yanked me back into the store. A security guard watched as I was taken into a little office, had my purse contents dumped on the floor and was told I must have stolen something. I pointed out the teenagers who were blatantly stuffing things in cargo pants pockets. They ignored them. After pawing through my things I was told I could put the stuff back in my purse. I demanded the manager pick up everything and put it on his desk and then I'd put it in my purse. As I left the alarm rang again. We realized the Stone Mountain metal label on the front of my purse set off the alarm. He never apologized. I called the corporate office and was told he'd get a reprimand. I could have charged him with assault. Grabbing me and forcing me into his store and office against my will violated FL laws. I never set foot in that store again and warned everyone I met not to. It may have been a coincidence but the store was shut down within 6 months. Others of different races said that manager had harassed them, too.

Should I create a profile EOI to SNIP first then after getting ITA from them and processing will b done. I will be nominated by Saskatchewan. So After that I have to create express entry profile ? Love your videos!\n\nJust wanted to point out that we're not alwaaaays so cold ? we do experience four seasons, and our weather in the summer can get up to about 30-40°c, and in some parts winter can get - 40°c. It definitely varies from the East/South/North/West!\n\nWe also discontinued pennies a couple years ago, too ? could be more but I'm not sure.

I don’t get the point to this video. Canada isn’t a free for all. You still need due process. He isn’t locked in a cage. He’s given freedom, healthcare and help while he’s waiting for a decision. I'm calling bs. I grew up in Scarborough, the schools in my area were mixed Caribbean, Canadian, European, Indian (and other South asain), Chinese (and other East Asian), middle Eastern, African, Latino, everyone went to the same school. Everyone's families were and are poor going through the same struggle. By the time I got to highschool I took the higher level courses, I went to class everyday, I wasn't a smart kid I didn't get to uni, I took a bridging program in college and got into uni. It's not hard to climb the latter in Canada if you work for it. Meanwhile at the same school a large percentage of Carribean and Somalian black students do not go to class, they skip, they dont care. In fact these same kids picked and made fun of the Asian kids that did go to school. They have zero respect imo. You can call me whatever you want I am just speaking my personal experience. School never seemed like a priority to them. I'm not Chinese or Indian but those 2 cultures always seemed like the hardest working. Those kids went to every class and got the best grades. Again Caribbean and Somalian black students in my area were more likely to be distruptive in class and get into fights. As were Greek kids and Canadian/Irish white kids. I am only pointing out the black students in relation to this video. Personal accountability is important, I don't disagree there is problems with the system but let's not act like there isn't a problem within black and even poor white culture itself. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror.

TRUE STORY : first time i went to Costco, i was ignored and rude to. Finally, i asked why am i being ignored? He apologized and offer to assist me. I told him I'm interested in on a membership and the city credit card. He bluntly told me, he doesn't think I'll get approve for the credit card. I asked why? He said because nobody ever does. I replied, i am not a NOBODY! He said please be quiet and complete my application profile. He did just so. He was genuinely shocked, when i got an instant $4k approval. Hello, I'm Afro-Latin and I just have one question, it's Canada a good place for black people who want to go there to live, will my kids be save of racism being black????? And at this point there is not really a place free of racism in the whole world, very often I heard that if your are black and Latino you are f....k twice, like you have to work double or triple to be recognized, it doesn't matter your skill level. I've been doing a research about which country will be better for my family and raise my kids, and log time I was thinking that Canada was the way to go but I'm not so sure now, but thing is that when you try to search, at least in youtube or google places where black people can generally live without any concerns, there is almost none. ?!

These racial profiling can go both ways. Back and forth and back and forth. And I have been treated the same way leaving a store and alarm went off so what’s your point. I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! We go to war all over , I am for protecting our borders not because I’m against immigrants, that’s ridiculous, everyone has either been an immigrant or the offspring of immigrants, I’m for protecting our own citizens and nation, my point is we have power, what can we do to force these other countries to properly treat their own people so they can stay home and feel safe ? I was raised in Canada and lived in America for 3 years, this was around the time Hurrincane Katrina hit. I miss living in Houston, but wouldn't change for the world. I love it here in Toronto. The guy made good points about the obvious differences between the neighboring countries. I'm full of Texas pride, but Canada rocks!!!

I don't see why Canadians must learn about slavery in that country. I mean, if 4% of the population is black and many of them are immigrants from the Caraïbe. What is the point? They live in Canada. Another thing, black Canadians are really sensitive for no reason. Compared to other countries in the Americas, they have it better. Wealth doesn't equal happiness.\n\nNote that my views formed WHILE I was in the UK - specifically after 16 as there was no sixth form locally and I had to go to the city to study. I'm sure you wouldn't like it either if Bangladesh started being overrun by people of other cultures (note that religion heavily integrates with culture, but culture is a problem too, as is race).
