Let’s look at facts: how many Muslims live in Canada compared to the Indian population? Muslims are not a country and not a single culture. There are European Muslims, North African Muslims, Asian Muslims, Arab Muslims, and Black Muslims. Does it harm anyone if Muslims practice their religion peacefully? This type of framing only fuels unnecessary hate and division

The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. So, only if we change our perspective beyond the emotional BS we exhibit, we can address the real issue with real solutions. BTW becoz of these things private companies are the one profitting not the Govt.

You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤

I share the same sentiments as these Canadian citizens.I'm an immigrant myself, and it is our moral obligation, to respect the culture and Laws, etc. There are people coming from other countries, especially in certain parts of Asia, as if they are here to take over Canada. Some years ago I was going home from work about 9 :45 pm and an Indian female told me to get up from beside her, so her friend could sit beside her.

I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Brother JamCan, this whole thing was predictable decades ago! I got to Canada in 1995 right after hell unfolded in the country of a thousand hills! I saw with my own eyes & felt from personal experience how great my adopted country was! However, not everything was rosy! I saw and experienced the "not-in-your-face" anti-black racism, whether politically, socially, and most def in the employment market! At the same time, the establisment (read white folks) was busy encouraging & promoting east indians to take up leadership roles in all spheres of the society, thus making them the "model minority" in the country! This mess was bound to happen, and in the end, this is what got us here! My feeling is that white canada is totally responsible for this, and they should stop crying on TV, roll up their sleeves, and clean up the mess! Peace Out!

Let us be honest, Indian students go to Canada to become a PR or a citizen! Living standard for ordinary people in India is very poor! Like Chinese, Indians want to live in western countries and bring their relatives with them! Australia has become very strict with foreign students too! You cannot jump from student visa to PR or working visa! Overstayers in AUS will soon be deported too!

In case anyone is wondering why so many Indians are trying to flee Canada here it is. Under Trudeau and the liberal government Canada was basically giving a free pass to anyone who wants to come to Canada through colleges and universities, if you get into a Canadian school, you can get a study permit (which also allows you to work for 20h a week). Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. So the conservative government has vowed to massivly decrease the number of immigrants coming into Canada and the Liberal government knowing that this can be used against them in the next election is decreasing the amount of PR cards they are given (like a Canadian green card) as well as the people they are letting in in total. Now as the (mostly Indian) immigrants work permits expire and they will soon be kicked out of the country or no longer legally be allowed to work, they are fleeing to NYC to try to take advantage of the sanctuary city (something that does not exist in Canada).

I am of Indian heritage and from what I am seeing around the world its disgusting how Indians are behaving, its made me ashamed of having that heritage and its not just in Canada, they are destroying the reputation for all Indians, and you can't just say its only a small percentage. I was born and raised in England in the 60's, we respected the culture, and country we were in, and would never see this kind of behavior that we are seeing today. Doesn’t she know how in places like Australia and Canada thousands of Indian people on temporary visas have taken to the streets to protest that these countries want to “deport” them when their visas are expired and they decided to overstay their welcome? As an Indian, I’m embarrassed too with their stubborn behaviour + bad English. Most of them were just to get PR, I myself worked my ass off for more than 3years to get PR. Indiana are very difficult nation to respect the rules and laws in the housing sector to during to jobs - and education. They don't want to learn the foreign rule except just want to make money by ignoring all rules. \nI rule said to allow the apartment to be sized and rules to all nations 2 people the indians will bring the same apartment 10-15 person minimum, damages within a days weeks, non-respect the rules they agreed to respect. \nWhen landlords are the same rules as all others indians think it's only for them, and cleanliness maintenance is the main issue. Before indians rented the buildings front, corridors, and inside all was super clean as soon Indians rented the apartment all the bags full of garbage, compost, dresses, and shoe food all in front and everywhere. The apartment and building itself are not livable and others are complaining threatening the landlord to quiet the building. For Indians tennats many landlords lost. their good respectable tenant, None want to stay with them, It's not about color or language its about cleanness and noise sharing s with many and inviting all friends which is allowed only in India, not other developed countries or Canada. U.S. If they can't respect the rules of law in Canada they should not come. Canad landlords will not allow 11/2 or 21/2 apartments with 10-15 peoples, who breaks all inside out crowd noise, deny damages, and blame Landlords.
