Oh Trudeau... !!! ? Of course, he too has made some unfortunate decisions for Canada's state affairs over the past few years, but no argument THIS is what a serious, competent, bright world leader looks and sounds like!!

I live by the Canadian border. It is NOT easy to cross. Trump is lying and just trying to make himself look good even knowing tht Canada is willing to be a partner in combating illegal drugs. He wanted to get his court problems etc off his table. He had to get elected. And ELON helped that. Without Elon the shadow president he wouldn't have. Hell Elon had to pay people to vote for him.

Canada has been raping America for years. Now someone comes along, puts a halt to it, and they don't like it? No justification? Take a look more closely Mr. Trudeau.

Trudeau thinks Canada can survive a trade war? ???. Canada doesn't have anything that the US can't get for itself. Unless they want to start selling snow to the southern states. We help them by buying their crap. We dont need it like Canada needs us. We subsidize their economy in more ways than one. How is he defending Canadian jobs? The whole point of tarrifs is to make it unprofitable for American companies to use Canada for things like manufacturing, energy and other natural resources.\n\nThe liberal government is who made us weak where we depended on the trade deficit in our favour. If we looked at tapping our resources and finding other markets, we wouldn't be so far gone.\n\nTrudeau's answer? EI? Trump has placed himself in a corner. He's completely incompetent. Because he is a bully and thinks people will roll over, he is going to look weak when he has to roll them back. When Canada cuts off the water, car parts, etc. and people start losing jobs such as car manufacturing, there will be a price to pay. All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years. Why cant to you balance the imports and exports so that you don't have to keep taking advantage of USA. CNN did not see the trade deficit every single year for 20 years? what are they talking about? Our news channels have just become political entities rather than looking for the greater good of the Americans. One is for Republicans and others for Democrats - ridiculous. \n\nCanada and Mexico are saying, please stop tariffs, it is going to hurt America. LOL. No it is not. If tariffs were there in 2024, US would have gotten back 15 billion dollar revenue from Canada and Mexico would have paid 46 billion to USA. All this time, this was affecting only Americans and while you are enjoying not paying for your share, you have made US pay by taking loans to pay for the imports increasing our Debt. Yes it has been hurting America for the past 20 years, otherwise how did we accumulate 36.5 trillion debt.\n\nLike Justin said, if Canada can survive while paying 15 billion to USA, of course USA will do fine while collecting the 15 billion from Canada and 46 billion form Mexico. What do you all think that the public is blind?\n\nTo the American Public: Why would we impose tariffs, if that is going to hurt the US. And why are Canada and Mexico shaking in their boots? It would be naive, if you think it is out of their good heart. It had been hurting US for the past 20 years and they did not care. This time it is going to hurt them so all this fuss. The bottom line is that they don't want to pay all the excess that they have been dumping on us while they were benefiting. USA will use the revenue generated (total around 250 billion for 2025 form tariffs) to reduce our tax, make things more affordable, inject in to our own businesses and generate more employment.

So Canada stands with Child traffickers, rapists, murders and drug runners got it. And look at all the communist Americans that take that side. Thank God Trump Won ! Kick all Canadian businesses out of US. Stop all Aid and military funding shut Canada down. Deport all illegals to Canada.

And don't take it personal , this isn't about you as a country but more about American calling out americna companies who build factories only your side , get great deals for taxes and then import the products back to American at a premium retail price and then profit off the American people while offering nothing back .........the end goal is to either make thise companies pay more to get products over the boarder , or bring the factories back here and employee americans .........and last I check the Canadian government doesn't own or produce any products so the things that will be imported to usa will be the ones with a cost rise to the companies that are producing them ........ them............

The US gives $200 billion yearly to Canada. U.S. banks are not allowed to do business in Canada, but yet we allow their banks in the US...by the way LOOK IT UP. I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. And we still slapped tariffs on them. We lied to Mexico too. \nAnd now we want everyone to trust us to negotiate a peaceful end to the Ukraine war with Trump threatening more sanctions on China and the EU. What the heck should they trust us and believe us after what we just did. \nWhen it comes to defining your character your willingness to keep your word overrules absolutely everything else. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word. This is a dishonorable action. I hope it does not escalate from there. \nIf it was about promoting or building domestic industries, I think the Canadians could have helped us with that but now.... good luck now that bridge has been burned.
