We were one election away from from total collapse in the US. I'm glad to see the Canadian people wake up and take their beautiful country back

I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Why is the government giving large hand outs to these Indian immigrants instead of helping us true Canadians who helped built this Country. It is a dam shame to see what the Liberal Government our doing to this country of ours were many are homeless, high cost of living and the high crimes that happens every day in Canada and what does the government do is let these criminals back into our streets where us true Canadians do not feel safe any more. The one thing that pisses me off is seeing is all these new immigrants coming into Canada by the thousands that are taking away our Canadian entry jobs like Walmart, McDonalds and A & W fast food restaurant where as our young born Canadian students and others can not find a job to help them pay for there school loans and get a good education degree. We need to put a stop to this. For enough is enough before our Liberal Government destroys our country.

No illegal, no refugee and no new immigrant should get one dime more than the lowest paid Canadian.

I'm fifth generation born Canadian and this is not Canada anymore. I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

As a French Canadian, I won’t say I am not racist. Not because I am. Because if you excuse yourself (like one does when saying they are not racist before giving a normal opinion), you already lost. That being said, who is with me to deport last 20 years of immigration? Only chance to get our country back.

People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. Let's not forget that Canada was built on immigration and collectively most immigrants do contribute to the good of Canadian society. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . Yet I have been verbally attacked several times because I am non white. So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. To me, It looks like Canada's immigration policy needs urgent reform and yes, immigrants should leave their baggage at the door.

Because they are not trying to fit in to our society and they are causing problems for the neighbors. They receive more than born Canadians and are given jobs here over Canadians. In my apartment building they don't like to be told to stop causing noise disturbances, in fact it even gets worse when they have been asked to stop. Some of the tenants " Newcomers " seem to think they can operate a business in the apartment which means they use excessive noise to build whatever they are building. Once they have been asked to stop by other tenants and given notices they then decide to retaliate by causing further noise which is deliberately to disturb the rest of us. They try to intimidate people that they know are born Canadians like some kind of gang members. We no longer feel safe in our own homes and neighborhoods. We are tired of them using the race card for every problem they have which is usually something they caused in the first place. In this particular building on Queen st. N. in Hamilton they cause trouble in multiple different apartments which they attend. Once they have been asked to stop causing noise in one apartment they just go to one of the others and then proceed to do the same thing there. Some of the newcomers have been given more than one apartment in the same building and therefore run back and forth between those apartments and slam the door of each one over and over all day long. The management has been informed hundreds of times for a number of years and yet they have not yet dealt with the issues. There is an ongoing record of so many incidents in this building which the management has not addressed beyond a blanket notice to all tenants regarding noise complaints. The manager says things like " It's a process " and yet there seems to be no results. Is management afraid to just simply evict the trouble makers ??

The same whyte Canadians who are complaining about indians are the same ones who hiring them.

I absolutely LOVE what that woman wrote and read to us. She is absolutely correct. I feel the very same way and I'm sure many Canadians do as well. The points system is why Canadians have a good impression of immigrants. When you let in english or french speaking well or over-educated new citizens, people will have a good impression of these hardworking people. When you let in gobs of just anyone.. you end up with Brampton, Ontario, or Sweden, where foreign nationals have brought their own opinion of how life should be to a previously high trust/well functioning area. As an emmigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, I am astonished by the lack of knowledge this country has. This reason stands in empty education ( in an irony of life, the canadians call it one of the best on the word), and the belief Canada is a democracy. The same goes for education, just oven degrees hot and not edible. Now Canadians learned that immigrant are taking their land and opportunities. They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

My son is Canadian born and a college graduate. He was a smart student and very hard working person but until now he couldn't find a job even at Tim Horton. I noticed that a lot of people who are working now are from India. They're the one who are getting experienced and etc.This is not fair to Canadians😢.

I am supportive of immigration, but I believe there should be a cap of no more than 1-2.5% annually. A significant number of migrants moving to Canada from the same region or country could cause issues, as this can lead to the formation of "mini-bubble" societies within Canada. These groups may sometimes become the dominant demographic and undermine the existing communities that have contributed to building Canada for decades. We cannot expect new immigrants to seamlessly merge into Canadian society. This is a major oversight by Canada’s Immigration Department. Digital applications from foreign nations may play a role in this phenomenon. There should also be regulations concerning how many new immigrants can be brought in by family members. For instance, one new citizen can legally bring both of their parents and their spouse, which is fair. However, there have been cases where this process is repeated multiple times within ten years, leading to a 1:15 ratio, where one person can bring in six to eight relatives. If there is a labor shortage in essential fields, Canada can offer long-term residency to those who continue to work in those sectors, such as caretakers. However, the pathway to citizenship could be lengthened or require a higher standard. For instance, the requirements could extend from X years of living in Canada to X+5 years, as well as passing a basic Canadian citizenship test, either written or verbal. While an increase of five years may seem unfair or lengthy, it is essential. A newborn child from a Canadian family requires 18 years to gain voting rights in elections, whereas new immigrants—especially those who come for study for four to six years—can potentially gain both citizenship and voting rights sooner if they meet the previous administration's standard. Children under the age of 18 can gain citizenship in as little as X-4 years, regardless of their full integration into Canadian society. If buying a house is the only requirement for citizenship, wouldn't a large portion of the global population be eligible for U.S. citizenship just by investing in U.S. businesses or stocks? This perspective may seem illogical when looking at it from outside the box. Apologies for being a bit wordy; I had much more to say. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).
