I’m American and I hate the direction our country has taken with the new thief in our White House. Donald dump has created war with our allies and aligned with our enemies.

The American government agencies and institutions have been weakened, as well as their healthcare and educational systems. Their relationships with allies and friends, North and South, have been strained, global allies have grown skeptical of the United States, and everywhere the US has given away its soft power, a vacuum was created that will now be filled with China or Russian influence. Every enemy of the US longed for this moment, and Donald Trump and JD Vance handed them this unnecessary win. America is past the point of no return; No one will come to help and rescue their most vulnerable. From this moment on, turning this around depends on every American in opposition to tyranny, abuse, and dictatorial leadership.

As a Canadian who lives in (largely French-speaking) Quebec, I don't know if our gov't even NEEDS to tariff American consumer goods, the people here are already boycotting US goods and companies en masse. EVERYBODY is doing it - and the pace isn't going to recede anytime soon. Even after the Orange Turd is long gone, trust me, Canadians will remember this! The American state has proven it cannot be trusted. They have unilaterally broken the trade agreement (negotiated by the previous Donald J Chump administration) on the flimsiest of reasons, the 00.2 % of fentanyl that flows over the border into the US from Canada. That deal now obviously not worth the paper it was signed on.

Donald Dump is a dumpster fire. He and JD are complete idiots, Canada doesn't allow drugs into US, LMFAO. They have single handedly ruined of decades of partnership and friendship, gone for ever in just a few weeks! We might be small, but mighty, unfortunately it will be everyday Americans who will feel the pain. Millions less trips to USA from Canadians, BuyCanadian, all US alcohol no longer available throughout Canada, AND Gov'ts not allow US companies to bid on procurement. 100's of Billions will be lost to everyday Americans, and remember you have Donny and JD for it all!

I am a dual Canadian/American citizen and I stand with my fellow Canadian’s and am embarrassed by Donald Trump and his brainwashed followers. I will do everything I can do to support Canada. Frankly the American citizenship is an embarrassment to me now. ??

I don’t think the majority of Americans want this. I did not vote for Donald Trump and I’m sure a lot of people that did are regretting their decision. This is so sad and depressing and stressful. God bless us all.

Prime Minister Trudeau is far, far, far above the likes of Donald Trump. As an American citizen I apologize to the rest of the free world for our political and moral failures. Nothing Trump does makes sense until you accept the reality that Trump serves only at the pleasure of Vladimir Putin. Nothing about trade wars and tariffs makes sense. Nothing about pulling out of NATO makes sense. Nothing about threats of invading our allies makes sense. Nothing about gutting our Federal government makes sense. As a Trump supporter and a Trudeau detractor, it is becoming more obvious to me that this threat of tariffs has become Trumps way of bullying Canadians into becoming the 51st state.
