The only people who should complain about immigrants in Canada and the USA are the Natives, not the European settlers

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. Canadians are immigrants themselves. They came from all over Europe. Then came people from South America. During the past 100 years Indians, Punjabis, Bangladeshis, Chinese,Japanese,Koreans etc. have settled down in Canada. They just happened to move to this area because of close proximity to Toronto and affordable housing at one time. In the early 80s, there was an influx of Indians that moved to a large housing apartment on Weston rd and st. Clair. As they got their feet on the ground with jobs, they moved to Brampton/Mississauga because there was a boom of new housing. It’s no different from other places in the gta like when the Europeans came, they congregate to certain towns and cities. Woodbridge with Italians, Portuguese in certain areas in Toronto, Chinatown, et cetera. And people are speaking their own languages in these cities I mentioned. This is truly about a visible minority. European immigrants in the 50s to 70s were told that there was too much immigration as well. It’s a cycle

The worst part about Indians, Chinese and Arabs etc is that they don’t really integrate/assimilate in the countries they immigrate to. They continue with the same segregated systems that forced them to run from their homelands. Big difference compared to African, South Americans, Japanese, Koreans, and Western Europeans who actually try to assimilate to the countries they immigrate to. It makes sense that if you are running away from a failed system, you must assimilate to the new system or else you’ll also destroy the new system if you bring in the same behaviors.

I'm an immigrant. Came here in the early 90s as a 3 year old. And i remember seeing people of all backgrounds in school. Eastern Europeans, Asians, and etc. But now they all seem to be Indian. Why do we keep importing Indians? Toronto now is comprised mostly of Indians and Asians. We have no homes, infrastructure is falling apart, and hospital wait times are at an all time high. International students all Indians. All the cars getting stolen are by Indians. The gold heist at Pearson all Indian.
