This international student thing has always been a popular pathway to PR status in Canada .\nThe government actually did promote it thought it a good idea to have young people after finishing their education to stay in Canada .\nIt was not a promise and not all would be excepted though \nObviously the policy was good for the schools but the government never considered the impact on Canadians cause they couldn’t care less .\nThe constant lie has always been Canada has too many jobs and not enough workers.\nThe recent 30 billion hand out to foreign automakers to set up EV factories proved what a lie that was when the government was willing to spend 3 million dollars to create one low skilled factory job obviously hard up for jobs .\nThere are videos on the net showing line ups of hundreds of people to try and get a job in a grocery store stacking shelves.\nTrudeau has destroyed Canada and most likely he will be gone but don’t expect the conservatives to be any different.\nPee Pee has never said he would slam the door shut in fact his only criticism of the Libs immigration policy was that it was taking too long to get people into Canada .\nCanadians are stupid they always vote in governments that screw them over time after time on all levels of government.\nThere is a party that would slam the door shut but they only got 2% of the vote in the last election.\nSo 98% of Canadians are stupid and they really deserve the country they have created for themselves.\nThis just didn’t happen recently it has been going on for years seriously where did Canadians think we were going to put all these people ?

My perspective is a bit different…I grew up in Canada, I lived 4 years in Toronto, 1.5 years in Waterloo, 14 years in Ottawa and 3.5 years in Calgary…overall, just little over 23 years in Canada. I graduated from University of Waterloo and Masters from University of Ottawa. I have a strong educational foundation from Canada, which I am very proud of. I moved to Houston, TX in 2016 and my last 8 years of living in US has nothing but AMAZING!!! While living in Canada, i was never able to save any money. In my last 8 years of working and living in US, I am 90% done paying off my mortgage on a very nice 5800sq feet house in Sugarland, TX. I owe very nice 2024 Lexus and 2023 Mercedes SUV that I can only dream of in Canada…so Canada is good in so many thing (I do have a soft corner for Canada in my heart as I grew up there) but when it comes to opportunities and life style to its full potential…USA is way ahead of the game.

I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.

Man, in one video, I hate this reporter, and in another, I love his work. In this video, good job on calling out fake students and Khalistanis. This is a very reasonable video but the problem is people start hating all the Indians and Punjabis after watching stuff like this.... The narration on this video was really good. You’ve improved a lot Harrison over time. Only thing I would say that if you had quite a few power line punchlines there. Sometimes you can just let those sit and spread out punchlines over multiple videos so your listener can truly digest your content, because it is good.

Although México isn't the greatest country, the part where i live (Near the center) is fairly safe, I've never been robbed or been involved in some cartel shit that you've heard of Mexico everyday (I'm 25 yo). The opportunity aren't the best either but aren't so bad...\nI mean, I've just finished the bachelor degree two years ago, I'm planning to buy a house with my girlfriend and making quick math we calculate it would take us about 3 - 4 years to save enough to buy one (Earning like 1200 USD monthly) taking in consideration that you can give yourself certain luxury's like hitting the road every weekend in motorcycle, visiting some places along the way, eating good food and stuff, with out sacrificing the rent or any basic necessities, then you remain with enough money for any emergency or urgent thing that comes out later.\nWatching this video makes me feel lucky of been here in Mexico even it isn't a very stable county i could say that the quality of life is fair enough (At least in the part where I am).\nSorry for you Canadian people... I hope you recover this crisis soon (I always wanted to visit that country)

Seems to be a lot of mildly rascist comments under this video. Depressing, I expected better from my fellow canadians. Its not the colour of someones skin, their religion, or their culture that makes someone a good person and worth knowing. Its how they treat others. Canada has always been a country that's thrived because of diversity. In my experience most immigrant Canadians have great work ethics and treat others with respect and kindness. I'm happy to call them my countrymen.

amazing video, but i would recommend doing research on the job search of young and overqualified canadians. it is currently impossible to find a minimum wage job due to the over saturation of the population. as a 17 year old with good grades and work experience, i cannot find a job after applying to ~60 places in person, and neither can my friends. however, this video does make me feel seen as an unsatisfied canadian :)

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. International students are allowed to work part time for 20 hours/week. If we are allowed to work legally what’s the purpose of stating that the jobs should be reserved for ‘Canadians’ only. Education is a big market in Canada and Canadian government is making good amount of money from International students. International students pay 2-3 times more for education than Canadian students. You don’t mention this in your videos. If you’re not bias talk on both sides of the picture. The problem lies with the Government that they allowed so many immigrants to enter this country and thus this became a problem. You’ve not done any in depth research about International students and how much fees they pay. We also have to pay GIC in the bank work $10000 to sustain if we don’t get a job here. We are prepared if we don’t have a job but if we are legally allowed to work part time 20 hours/week, why shall we not do that?? Please reply to this question logically

I think Canada lost the plot of integration. \n\nBeing an Indian, I do agree that immigration needs to be in controlled- not stopped but controlled so that the immigrants get time to contribute to the community and also integrate.\n\nAlso looking at the video the first man who was sitting and smoking, it will be good to know how he is contributing to the community aswell.

The most common problem is the cost of housing! Nevertheless: Should you intend to move: The grass seems to be always greener on the other side ?. As you mentioned Germany and public transport: It depends where you live, but according to my experience they did a gr8 job in Munich, but the demand exceeds supply nowadays. Good video. As much as people want to deny it, the reality is Canada is a resource based economy. Our economy grows during commodity upcycles, and so does the $CAD. The Canadian economy will do well in the next decade but we need a government that does not actively punish what is our bread & butter.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. I'm Indian but not born in India for 3 generations and even in my country, the Indian/Paki immigrants are just coming in droves. There's a distinct culture difference. However, the most ominous concern is that, there needs only to be a couple of hundred fundamentalist Muslims in the country who hold extreme views to wreak havoc. \n \nTragically, mass intakes of people from a bevy of non-Anglo/European cradles over the past 30-35 years has radically transmogrified Australia’s two largest metropolises of Sydney, and Melbourne. So much so that, within the short space of a bit more than three decades (1990), Anglo/Europeans have been reduced from being 94 percent of these cities’ populations, to now becoming the ‘collective’ minorities: at around 47 percent. \nTo ascertain this glaring reality, merely requires travelling on any train, at any part of the day that runs through the corridor of 20 stations between Burwood/Strathfield, Granville and down to Liverpool. The culmination of this madness has ultimately destroyed the host’s culture. And, moreover, with these immigrants forming culturally-insular enclaves/colonies.\n \nSo, it now comes to pass all these years after Enoch Powell, and Jean Raspail, warned us of would eventuate with dismantling borders, concludes with scores of acts of vile terrorism from 2004, being perpetrated by rabid Islamic fundamentalists. But, in spite of it being patently obvious to any halfwit that, mass-non-discriminatory immigration programs have destroyed the cultures of the host-societies, politicians in Britain, Canada, NZ, and of course, Australia, are totally committed to perpetuating large scale immigration intakes.

well I have to say that this video is yet another white man complaining how the country is when they sat and watched it happen over the past 20 years. BOO Hoo you're the minority now sucks don't it. Did you look at the property tax rates? \nDid you look at the increasing trend of second generation Bramptonians going to college and university, whose immigrant parents did blue collar jobs? \nDid you look at what percentage of Bramptonians focus on home ownership through multiple jobs? \nDid you look at how Brampton is short changed with per capita hospital beds and avg ER wait times when compared to any other Ontario municipality or provincial average? \nYour video is textbook definition of far right conspiratorial extremism. \nIt is short on facts and big on innuendo. Hey I’m Canadian born and raised and I like your video. \nThe person below me mentioned Canadians don’t like winners or ambition and I don’t think that’s true, it depends upon the attitude that winner has, are they an arrogant boastful bragger if so then we will be like STFU! Some provinces are more difficult than other to advance because of the socio-political construct purposely put into place. Each province has its own flavour, querks and perks. But it’s true we Canadians do not care for know it alls at all, be humble and if you are winning all the time, good for you don’t brag about it and sing your own praises.

And I liked almost all. \n\nThis by far is most racist and single sided. \n\nImmigration, housing and drugs are to be controlled by govt. , not by Indians. You are literally saying “Indian people” in every sentence as if all Indians in Brampton are criminals. \n\nIndians are one of the most law abiding, high tax paying and fun loving people of Canada. We come here to contribute to economy and raise our families. \n\nMost of the locals you are interviewing are looking homeless themselves.
