I’m surprised you never saw me. I’m homeless in a shelter and I hate this city.. well I hate all the cities like this. The people are heartless and sacred. The homeless are high and sad… I wander the streets like all day every day. When I have money I try to help the street people. Or I end up smoking weed on occasion. But there’s a lot of garbage and garbage people out there. I’m basically the rat king. I wander round doing anything I can. I’m pretty crazy tho I have bpd and doctors don’t really help anyone. I just live in the shelter and during the day I wander the streets trying to learn the city and help people. Sometimes I’m rude and angry and insane due to the state of the city and all I’ve seen. I yell and sing as I walk around just to hate everyone who is the average scumbag citizen. You know who I mean.. and I call them out on their bs. But only during my bpd episode or whatever. Otherwise I try to help all the street rats. But lots of them are helpless addicts like it’s hard to find the proper way to help. You gotta be careful who you help I suppose, because your good intentions of helping can lead to harming them. They end up buying drugs I guess sometimes. I am very easy to spot. I’m zooming down the streets. I usually walk so fast and everyone is so brainwashed brain dead slaves of society for real… they don’t care or help no one. I mean some do but it’s extremely rare…. I’ve probably walked literally everywhere you were. That park on Jarvis. I see those security guards lol they were dicks to you and definitely lied about not being on camera. I see them like almost every day. And all the other places. I slept outside a few times not often. I’ve been to all these spots I walk by them all the time it was crazy to see it all. That’s my life haha it’s awesome. I do the best I can and it’s definitely better than everyone else who has a job and a place like…. They’re all just selfish shallow heartless scumbags. Harsh truth. Keep it real.

I was moving back to Edmonton in October 2023 and the vacancy rate was 0.0001% the apartment I got, if i did not take it (the area is so rough) I would have had to stay with a friend and hoped and prayed that in November more people were moving so something else could/would become available. \n\nThen I talked to everyone in this building. Once the 1 year lease is up they months rent 250$ so they suck you into a an apartment where homeless are sleeping in the laundry room smoking meth for $1000 and then up the rent to 1250$ and the area is like the ones you were exploring. If anyone knows Edmonton it’s a block off 118 ave or Alberta Avenue. And I work at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (inner city) it’s heart breaking ?. It was always bad but since moving to the country in 2020 and coming back late 2023 the decline is devastating. Even a very close friend of mine went from packing her kids lunches, working casually (when they needed) as a janitor at Edmonton public school board to staying at salvation Army and it getting full to living in Tent City. She had to make her way to Calgary for shelter. ?

I am a Canadian Citizen but I cannot get a minimum wage job. I've submitted over 200 online applications for minimum wage jobs and every time I go out I apply at any store or restaurant along the way, but it's been about six months and I still haven't gotten one, get any feedback for an interview. It's so sad and disappointing. The problem is, when a company recruits people, the company asks the person they just hired if they know anyone and brings them to work. Another case is that there are some international students or foreigners who agree to work and receive a salary lower than the minimum wage.???

whatever you are saying that is correct but it is only one side bro, go and just ask international students what they have been promised here in Canada and how they are living here. Even most of the engineers, doctors and other professionals with foreign experience ended up doing general labor or uber driver jobs and even on the basis of their education and work experience they got permanent residency. No one likes to work on these hard jobs but they don't have any other option as most of skilled worker jobs either need their respective field license or Canadian experience. how much fees international student paying, what kind of job they are doing here, living far from family, managing studies and job, how much debt they took to study here and much more sacrifices doing here. Do not say then why came here because applied through legal process and full filled all the necessary criteria. Was it our fault that we dreamed about study and work here in Canada?. I know it is hard for you and your families that they are not getting jobs but don't hate international students. you can only understand anyone if you put yourself in their shoes.

It's funny to see that you don't know anything about CANADA's job market. Go out and learn what CANADA is before making these videos.\nFirst you should know that Canadian Companies don't hire anyone for a high skilled job. Even if you are an amazing engineer with 20yrs of experience. They want even skilled people to get canadian experience by working entry level jobs.\nAnd you are crying about how immigrants are applying for entry level jobs. People need to understand that the modern university is a neo-liberal sh1tshow run by useless overpaid administrators for the benefit of useless overpaid administrators. Many of these hapless students can't understand, speak, read or write English adequately, and the exploited sessionals who typically teach them are pressured to pass them anyway because the university needs to keep their bums on seats. Born and day raised here. Immigration is out of control as is all all the social services, bailouts, and specials needs funding. Rhis created a huge debt to income defeciet that anyone with any brains could see coming a mile away. We are also forcing ourselves out of any useful manufacturing and were fooled by the government that mass immigration would solve all the problems. It did the opposite. It was great 30 years ago. Still, I don't know where you could go that is better. Racism was almost gone and the complainers brought it back by wanting to be more than equal.

This is missing SOOOO much of the actual story of what is going on over here. There is a lot of corruption in our housing market fueled by faked incomes just for starters. That's not including the massive supply and demand crunch we are facing on multiple fronts from having too much people suddenly, to having not enough housing suddenly. But there are some people from all sorts who are all doing their own dirty little deeds, and they are culminating into the gigantic pile of BS that the rest of us now get to deal with. \n\nAnd make no mistake, what I am saying is not even close to the full extent of the BS going on. This is just one facet of it. There still is the universities mentioned that we need to talk about, whom have been fleecing internationals for years now. I lived in Toronto for almost 25 years but moved to Berlin, Germany, a few months ago. I found the last few years to be really sad and also scary. There is such a huge mental health crisis. The TTC is not very safe feeling. I have friends there who travel with dog or bear spray in their purses. The cost of rent is definitely a huge issue. A lot of friends can never move into a new place and I don't know anyone there who can afford to actually buy a home.\nThe positives are the food options (groceries and restaurants - some of the best in the world), the nice social life, so many things to see and do around the city, and the various beaches and islands.\nThe city is definitely looking uglier and uglier, though, with all of these boxy, glassy condo towers and now with Ford doing things like turning public space into a foreign-owned inaccessible spa.

The sad truth for your reputation, is that there are more people STAYING than leaving, otherwise, our population would only increase by the number of births, minus the number of deaths every year. It is NOT. It is increasing by a LOT more. And those are EASY to find stats.\n IF you took your time to get out of your pity party and realized that you are WRONG about that fact, you might ALSO understand that choosing WHERE you live n this country is a pretty important choice. Unless you are REALLY rich, Toronto or Vancouver would be a miserable experience for anyone. If you limit yourself to the most expensive places we have to offer, you only have YOURSELF to blame for your failures here, AND you weren't going to contribute where we NEED immigrants, but where we already have too many, causing that RARITY, making prices go up. \n Have a nice flight out. But know that it could have been different if you'd taken the time it took to make that video, to INFORM yourself about the choices that might have been better for you instead.

I support this. Canada is disgustingly atheistic and going down a very dark path. As a Christian American I could not imagine living there as anyone trying to follow any religion. But yeah so I study and learn about demographics and foreign countries and cultures as a personal hobby for going on 8 years now. I recommend Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, Oman, Kuwait, Malaysia and Singapore for Islamic countries that are safe, rule of law, and as a small extra bonus mostly US allies, but still have their islamic cultures and communities intact and do not commonly come under pro israel or UN voting pressure. Probably youll want to relocate to one of those countries. Qatar too but they have a bit of a history supporting extremist and terrorist groups so I cannot in good faith recommend living there. Bahrain Brunei and Indonesia you could try too but I don't know enough about them to recommend.

Before you move to Dubai or any Arabic gulf countries, please know that you can live there for over a 100 years and have 3 generations being born and raised there, you will NEVER be able to attain citizenship, there is absolutely no way to do so, you will have to make a run for renewing your resident permit every year or so and so will your kids and great grand kids, maybe with a massive investment you might be able to procure a permanent residency but i haven't heard about anyone getting it though, so please research research research before you make a decision.

I left Canada 2 years ago and moved to California. I lived for 13 years in Mississauga. About Canada: terrible weather, worst drivers, fewer cops to ticket drivers, worst community and University teaching experience. I taught for 13 years in Ontario, and it's all business. Housing is more expensive in Mississauga than a beach house in Orange County. Excellent medical system in Southern California (at least what I have experienced so far with two younger daughters). With year-round great weather and access to high-quality fruits and vegetables, school systems are among the finest in the US. I have not heard a single gunshot in the last 2 years. People are not allowed to take weapons unless concealed with a license.\n\nI would not recommend anyone to settle in Canada. I heard that most immigrants who move to Canada are not well-educated and end up doing blue-collar jobs. Those who are educated are doing under-qualified jobs. A super expensive country with super high vehicle insurance, expensive cell phone and cable plans, and so on. I took a dermatologist appointment for my kid, and it took 6 months in Ontario versus two days in the US. I know it is just my case, but overall, I am very happy that I left Canada.

i am from ameirca moved to egypt lived there off and on for 10 years last time was 5 years to sum it up it not worth it........ the culture in egypt is very harsh and unislamic. the athan has been lowered so you can barely hear it unless you are living right next to the masjid. your Eids and jumuahs are Gov. controlled meaning jumuah is precisely 25 mins no more than that, you stay longer in the masjid because you want to have time alone you will be scorned and be seen as a terrorist. the cleaners may even tell you to get out as well.\n your daughters will be told that the hijab is not compulsory and how dare you wear niqab in university. you will never be treated as equals even if you have Egyptian parents but were raised abroad. The economic situtation is in shambles, dont exspect safe places for your children play or just be, pedos are rampant ( I know cause i put one in prison) you want to go the beach? lol half them dont accept women in islamic swimsuits ( or anything remotley resembling it) it is a bikini only beach the other half are dirty and a down right hazard.\nthere is more i can write but my sincere advice to anyone is to visit a place abroad thats great, but living is a different ball game i wasted 10 years of my life searching for a life that didnt exist and i wouldnt want that for anyone else. change your life where you are, and make your utopia where you are.

anyone who tries to push the narrative that neighboring states don't like or want to help the palestinians, doesn't fully grasp one of the main concepts of this conflict. they consider this their homeland and they know if they leave, israel will not let them return. just like the millions of other palestinian refugees that currently live in neighboring states.

Salam! Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether or not to invest in the Canadian market for someone who is contemplating leaving Canada in the medium term? I don't know if it is worth investing money in stocks via Canadian institutions if that money might be withdrawn in less than 10 years from now as I move to another country.

I'm sad that anyone has to do this! I pray that you will find a place that will be your home, where you won't have to worry about your children being targets, that the government won't ignore your pleas for peace and that is as warm as you need it to be. As a christian women who wears a head covering (not amish or mennonite) I have made it my 'business' to deliberately greet any one I see with a head covering. I know that can't make up for what you are going through but I wanted you to be aware that there are those that do want you to be able to practice your faith in a manner that you feel you must. Canadian employers and often hiring managers are very very conservatives and risk adverse. Both as someone who grew up here, worked abroad and came back, the whole process for getting a job (as well as seeing how my colleagues behave as hiring managers / HR), it feels we are decades behind most countries in how we hire. \n\nIf not for my previous Canadian experience before going abroad, it would've been much harder for me to get any employment here. Moreover hiring managers are insanely close minded relatively, I've had countless discussions with people who would rather go with a worse candidate that they know from previous or referral than someone who's obviously more qualified / knowledgeable. It's also possible that the hiring managers have no confidence in their own ability to gauge skills (long LONG rant in this regard...), so they always prefer to go the safest route (for themselves) rather than take any risk on someone who's more skilled.\n\nCanada is (well.. used to, 10 years+ ago) great to live but it's horrendous to make a living.\n\nwith everything going to a shitshow over last decade... we can't even have the first half of that sentence anymore.
