My sister took me to Sacré-Coeur Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. At triage the nurses thought my shoulder was dislocated so they sent me for X-rays even before registration, and at the most, I waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room before I was sent to an examination room. When the emergency specialist came in, I told him about pain between my shoulder blades and a feeling of oppression in my chest. So in addition to dealing with my broken arm, he prescribed blood tests that revealed I had had a small heart attack, and he kept me ovrnight. The next day an angiogram was performed and the cardiologist installed two stents in my heart artery, and I spent two days and two nights in the cardiology unit. I don't dare to imagine how much that would have cost me in your country, but also, many people go to the emergency for things like the flu because they don't have a regular doctor to go to, and of course, for stuff like that you are going to wait a long time. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

Americans want legal ways to citizenship to be improved but we cannot accept mass, unregulated immigration. It is not sustainable. Both parties can agree on that but we can’t agree on how to fix it. The issue is that there are too many people coming and it’s overwhelming our system. It’s sad to see people upset but we have to put our own country’s interests first.

Actually it is soo true. I have considered german for my education because it is less expensive than USA but I don’t see my full life in Germany because of language barriers and not promoting other nationals in higher positions. Go to USA you will find half of the top CEO or engineers Indians but come back to Germany and you won’t find many, this is because Germans don’t usually promote other nationals in managing positions higher than them. This is not welcoming so folks it is better if you come for your education, gain some work experience, explore europe as much as you can then move to USA and build your own home and raise kids, again push them to come to germany for free education of bachelors and masters ?

As a Canadian PR holder, the immigration system is broken. The fact that people who can't speak English, with criminal backgrounds and unqualified individuals can come in and stay while I had to wait 2 years for background checks and a 8.5 IELTS score, is insane. It shows that qualified workers aren't wanted but rather just get as many people from only one single country in the name of multiculturalism. Another thing which attracted me to Canada was the chance to experience different cultures but all I see are Indians and especially immigrants who don't want to integrate because Trudeau is happy with that and they bring their countries' domestic problems to Canada (read Gaza idiots and Khalistanis)

I worked as a nurse in Florida when I first graduated. It was devastating to see how stressed people were about being hospitalized because they knew how their life finances were going to be wiped out. In Contrast Canadian patients only need to concentrate on being well again. \nWomens rights are being rapidly eroded in America. Childbirth is covered in Canada,abortions are legal and women get 1 year of paid maternity leave.\nOur children don’t have to participate in active shooter drills because of our tight gun laws. Our taxes are higher but the social networks are covered by these taxes. \nThe Canadian way of life is generally ,slower and ,I find, more accepting of immigrants, LGBTQ folks, and marginalized people.\nPersonally I moved back to Canada because I missed the change of seasons and the slower pace. Unfortunately it is not true that a majority of the Indians are highly qualified. To be honest many of the Indian students here have poor communication skills and questionable qualifications. What is needed is a more careful selection process. I know of some Indians who are highly trained well educated and an asset to Canada especially in the health and tech fields. At the same time I see many who are not able to pass basic language tests let alone professional examinations.

Meaning, to most of us , excepting the most left leaning socially progressive pockets and contexts , which even then wouldn’t be viewed that way to us just acceptable lol ?\n\nOur baseline/political middle in Canada is A LOT more left leaning than the baseline normal/political middle in the states. So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. If you throw our span of parties and American span of parties on the SAME spectrum /polarity line. You might be surprised to realize how shifted left our systems range politically is from the American one. \n\nThis hugely impacts the average normal expectation , what we clutch our pearls at hearing coming out of the mouths of the general public , and our range of what we expect to not hear or see ranted about unless they’re to our view , extremely right leaning politically /social values. \n\nFor us this means that actually genuinely , a lot of America does get experiences by us as bat shit crazy racist homophobic immigrant intolerant culturally and religiously ignorant , and somewhat backwards in larger or smaller amounts ? My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on.
