Trump wants to be a dictator so he's trying to create chaos in America so he can say I can fix it

Agent Orange openly and repeatedly says he ADMIRES N Korea’s Kim author of one of the most hellish deathscapes the world has ever seen. Literally starving the N Korean people to death. And Trump again recently said he wanted that same kind of authority over “my people.” And yet a majority of white Americans voted him in anyway. How spiritually lazy and morally bankrupt we have become. All support to Canada and Ukraine and ZERO for Putin and Kim.

Dump wants the US to fail bcuz it will mean more for him and his cronies. He only cares about himself. It’s baffling what his cult followers will believe. Anything, absolutely anything, whatever he says they will do and believe. Kinda like another dictator in 1930s Germany

Trump knows this is wrong but it’s more about his presidential legacy. He wants to be a president talked about in history books for centuries like George Washington or Abraham Lincoln and with ALL of his controversial antics….I’m sad to say it…he will?

Canada (and many other countries) spent decades supporting the maintenance of US hegemony. Look what it got us? To a position where we're pretty much greatly dependent on, and at the mercy of the US. We need to invest more in our own country and make our own products. We should also trade with other countries regardless of what the US thinks of those countries. Trump wants Canada to put tariffs on China in the attempt to further impede that country's economic growth so the US will remain the economic hegemony. Never mind that a trade war with China would put Canada in an even worse position. Given the current events, I say we trade with China even more!

I would not want to live down there with the pervasive American attitude. I thought my American friends were lovely people, but then we went to a restaurant together. From the USA: Why is it right for Canada to tariff us more than we tariff them? Trump pointed out that there was a 200 billion a year tariff deficit for the USA. Some say that number is inflated and the real number is somewhere around the 70 billion mark in Canada's favor. No one disagrees that the US has a huge tariff deficit with Canada. So, the USA is just leveling the playing field. It's time to truly have level trade with the rest of the world, not just Canada. No more free lunch from the US to the world. We want free and fair trade, but for that to happen we must tariff other countries goods at exactly the same level they tariff our goods.

1/2: Myself and the saner half of the US that read, understood, and voted against Proj 2025 understands why they need to levy retaliatory tariffs especially as a Michigander who's lived less than 4 hours from Canada all her life, who has family in Quebec and Ontario, and is a job-seeking policy professional and international trade nerd who now cannot in good faith seek a job in the federal government.
