I believe that the relationship between a Country and its citizens is much the same as a parents duty to their child. Governments have a DUTY to care for the safety and well being of their citizens. I would like to see a UN declaration stating that governments must accept their citizens back into their borders. And that the home country must reimburse all those governments and organizations that fed, clothed, transported, sheltered and rendered medical aide to their citizens. NO COUNTRY must be allowed to dump their citizens like trash at the side of the road. These are THEIR CITIZENS..IT IS THE HOME COUNTRY'S DUTY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM up until the time they are LEGALLY granted citizenship elsewhere. This application process can be done while the person is still in residence in their own Country. It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to take the illegal route. Thousands of people have died in the process. This must be stopped by every Country along their route. We have a humanitarian crisis of global significance here..child trafficking, drug trafficking, violent gangs and organized crime all abuse illegal immigrants. If it was your child....what would you do?

No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure this benefits other countries to expand. Each with distinct flavors and aromas. \n\nStarbucks imports coffee from over 30 different countries from Latin America, Africa, Middle East. \n\nIt’s like if Trump puts a 25% tariff on French wine. As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

There are too many Indians everywhere you go in the world, too many still trying to get out of India. Working in Canada at a fast food restaurant gives someone from India (Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow....) a better standard of living than a middle class living in India. States like UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan... still living in 18th century. Gujjus were the first to got out and then Punjabis and then everyone, they damaged the reputation of Indians a lot.

I remember when my country Indonesia still gave Indians visa access like everyone else. It was horrible! Our airports were swarmed with unruly and mannerless Indians. its because they are racist... imagine US, UK, etc grants no visa on their former enemies (like Japan) but demands for visa entry for their former colonies? you cant deny that these former imperialists sees former colonized countries as lint and does not contribute to their economy.... they stole billions of dollars in the past and at they could've grant visa free entry to their former colonies as a way of compensation to the damages that they've made in the past but they didnt.. and when war broke up, they'll ask from these former colonized countries for some soldier to be on the frontline for them because they were allies.. until now they still do some exploits to colonized counties in some other way like establishing manufacturing plant or some establishment hiring cheap labor from these countries, and when you want to visit to these counties they will automatically deny you.. The Rejection rate is still very low . India can also do more to prevent illegal immigration to other countries. That gives all Indians a bad image and more scrutiny when they apply for a Visa. Like Requiring all Indians travelling overseas to have a return ticket and digital copy of their Visa, passport that can be accessed by the Indian embassy in the country they plan to visit . So if they are illegals or lose their passport, the India Embassy/Gov will know or be able to help them with a new passport to travel back to India. Digital copy is to be submitted to the Indian Embassy in the country they plan to visit days before departure, with conformation .\n\n These simple steps will bring more credibility to Indian Passport holders.

We cannot find affordable housing, they come over here wanting to be Canadian citizens, at the same time abusing the resources meanwhile, they go across the border to exploit the system. Immigration needs to close it doors to certain countries. Some Indians people come over here, and think they are still in India. They used Black people as a scapegoat, they are racist towards Black people, they think they are white, they don't consider themselves as colored.

It's truly heartbreaking to witness how things have unfolded between two countries that were once united. I often listen to the stories my grandparents shared, about the peaceful times when they lived in hawalis, surrounded by neighbors who were Hindus, and how they used to cherish the old crockery they brought from Shampura. As a former immigrant who has been a Canadian citizen for over 40 years I am mindful that too many immigrants get into the country too easily - not like in my time when I had to actually qualify to come here. We, the older generation (including immigrants), helped to build Canada, but the newcomers just come here to take what they can. There are too many new immigrants who should not be here in the first place, and they have no intention of assimilating. What a mess!\nI have to ask you a question, though. There are too many Indian in Scarborough too. Interview people there. I also feel like it’s little India whenever I’m visiting my mom that still lives in Scarborough. I feel out of place and I grew up in Scarborough.

I believe that lack of health care in the U.S. stops many Canadians from even considering moving and working in the U.S. It may take longer to get medical care and treatment in Canada, but everyone is entitled to it. About 30 yrs ago we all paid into it, at our jobs. Not anymore. I believe employers may still be paying into it, but I think now it is just paid for with our taxes. So even people that do not work or are retired, each and every person is allowed it - if you live here.\nThere is also some Dental Care provided for some Children. Very recently,free Dental care is provided for people over 65. It is very new, so I do not know a lot about it yet. Also some drugs too are free for those over 65 too.\n\nPersonally I do not even want to visit the U.S because it seems like a very dangerous place.
