Because Canadians are seeing their country disappear in front of their eyes. For a country with such a massive landmass, Canada's population is microscopic. If mass migration goes unchecked for just a few generations, Canada won't be Canada any more. The maple leaf will be replaced by a crescent moon... The same thing is happening all over western countries, and it is being done on purpose against the wishes of the majority. Mass migration from African and Middle Eastern countries is changing demographics at a frightening pace, and people are rightly concerned by that. It's completely reasonable and sensible for one to want to preserve one's culture and national identity. People have fought and died for thousands of years for such things. \n \nThe fact that so many cultures and nations exist around the world is one of the things that makes our planet interesting. It's why people travel. If I go to Japan, for instance, I want to feel the difference in the way of life, but if Japan suddenly opened its door to mass migration, I wouldn't any more. So Japan doesn't open its door to mass migration, and what would you know? Japan still resembles Japan.

I wish I had this man 's eloquence , intelligence and quick wit. He is really suited for that position as FM. The other countries should take heed selecting people for important government positions.

Never voted right but there's a kind of immigration that is happening now in the West that is simply tearing at the stability of things. Even here in Portugal, it's getting out of hand. If you flood countries with people from radically different cultures, with radically different habits.......eventually you are going to destroy what that country had going for it.\n\nWe gotta stop this. I wish I didn't believe this migration wasn't planned by powerful entities to do exactly what is doing - disrupting the social fabric...........but, unfortunately all these big movements (wokeism etc) are designed precisely to have us at each other's throats.

Intentional destruction of Canadian Culture. Canada has NO responsibility to help the outsiders. No nation can afford MASS MIGRATION without destroying the lives of their own citizens. I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples,must find ways to live together. Education, to keep the planet healthy, stop overpopulation, keep the air and water clean...stop the greed are the goals we must strive to follow.

Hi Abhu n Niku,\n\nI always love your fact based information. I wish you did more of surveys or interviews of Indian immigrants in Canada. Ideally different people from different states in India have different experiences in Canada. Plus previous qualifications, some students here do not even get up and go to college or university to attend lectures and we blame Canada for not giving them jobs. Blame Indian movies that show 2 extremely opposite sides of lifestyles of immigrants in Canada. Either as high profile business people as if they own the country or as poor labourers with 2 or more sharing a common room in a basement. Improve the perspective of people by improving the quality of movies based on immigration to western countries. You can find students who got job, car and house in Canada in 5 years and you can also see students who unfortunately couldn’t do so much. We cannot generalize things.

Why shouldn't you wish to protect the country and culture you and your ancestors built - from invaders that care nothing for it, and who practise neither tolerance or inclusion?

I'm a Canadian citizen. And I think it's the time when Canadian & US governments must think to build a border wall on the Northern border. I hate these illegal Aliens sneaking in Canada & then in the US. Offcours these illegal immigrants are being a reason for damaging the local labor market wages. Ever since Trudeau opened up the borders making it very laxed for these 3rd world countries to enter Canada has become a dark hole.. 70s,80s,90s when it was difficult to enter the country strick border protection to protect us has gone down the drain. I wish it went back to the Era where CBSA use to enter factories or any work place and asked for citizenship if they deported. I was born in Canada in the 80s. My parents are from India. So call me racist if it gets you off. My ass is browner than yours probably. \nMy parents, and my uncles and aunts who came here in the late 1970s had to work their asses off to prove they were worthy of even ENTERING Canada, let alone to live in the country. ALL of my older male relatives who came to Canada at that time had a PhD in a science related field or was a medical doctor. EVEN then, they had to go through years of re-training in Canadian schools in order to have a shot at PR. And they persevered and did it, and did well. \nNow, anyone and their dog is allowed in, and it's kind of an insult to all my relatives had to accomplish in order to build a life here. They had to earn doctorates and medical degrees TWICE (once in India and again in Canada).\nWell, that generation did well, and now we're the kids who are grateful and enjoying the sacrifice they put in. What will the kids of illiterate, minimum wage workers be like? Probably not so good.\nCanada's probably done. But does the average Canadian have any desire to do anything. Nope. They used to value hard work and ambition when I was growing up but Canadian culture has become lack of ambition, and entitlements just for existing. \nSo, at least I was raised with the idea of working to no end and sacrificing in order to accomplish something in life. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. Hmm I feel so bad for everyone involved in this. I don't really want cartels going over the US border but I really don't mind all the people fleeing from countries that are even worse then the US. So many of them have such horror stories from their native countries. And if they're willing to work here I don't think there should be really a problem. I just really wish they wouldn't all congregate in the big cities and would move more to a lot of the rural places that are losing people. The housing is getting so expensive in the big cities I'm not sure how they can afford even stay there.

As a British national I am ashamed of this guys conduct, however, some of the sinister comments require further investigation such as “we won’t leave until our objectives are achieved” suggesting some kind of coup or sharia law agenda, this type of comment will only increase the intolerance and hatred Muslims suffer from right wing extremists in the Uk, I spent 10 years working in Qatar and I respected Muslim culture and integrated. With my host nation including going to mosques to respectfully witness prayer. \nI welcome all Muslims to my country of birth that wish to contribute and most importantly integrate into our society. If you are not of that mind set then I will happily drive you to the airport myself.

As someone of Indian origin, I’ve witnessed how some immigrants from India have negatively impacted the reputation of Indian-origin individuals here.\n\nMany students coming from India are aware of the circumstances they are entering, but their mindset often prevents them from appreciating the positives and negatives of living in Canada.\n\nI wish we could discuss this over a call and go through the situation, but I understand that’s unlikely to happen.

Thank you for the information, but the way you share the 8 points sounds like a spoiled child complaining. I wish you could give an example of a country doing better in at least 4 things. Homeless people are everywhere. As for non-aggressive homeless, I cannot say. Racism towards blacks or other minorities compares to other developed countries. Taxes are high on a salary because one has a salary at least. So what I am trying to say, these are issues I agree. I would instead call them areas for improvement, and a country like Canada can do better.

Refugees have always sought asylum during times of war. If asylum was not provided one saw the consequences..6 million Jews gassed and murdered. All the points mentioned in this video are 100% true. I live in Vancouver, and I'm an international student I really wish I knew the truth about this country before. There is no proper education, too. Everything is self-study and assignments with no campus placements. You won't get good professors in your universities because they are overbooked for the semester, and then you are left with no option but to settle for whoever you get. There's also a lot of exploitation by the desi employers who think they are the king of the world you have to do everything they say so that you don't be jobless all your work experience from India does not count here which means you won't get a decent job and even an intern requires experience of 2-3 years with base pay. The only suggestion I would like to give to the people who are planning to come here is to THINK AGAIN, do your research AGAIN. We cannot undo our years lost, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TIME.

If your intention to study outside India is pure and you do not really want to stay back for more than 5 years and wait for ROI, Canada, UK and Ireland are best options. \n2. Canada is a secular society and, in my view, has made abundant accommodations to muslims including allowing muslim priests to hold religious sessions to students in Public school premises. I moved home to Canada after 20 years living and working in 5 countries. I am so grateful to be home. I am sorry some people leave but I can truthfully say that it is better here. Taxes are less than Scandinavia. Less than France or UK. Same prob with lack of Doctor's everywhere. Sorry ladies, you seem lovely but you are wrong. Just saying. As a Canadian Veteran I don't blame immigrants leaving the country. Personally I wish I could have retired in Germany, as the present government has totally ruined Canada, they've divided the country, they're taxing the average Canadian to homelessness. Food bank use has sky rocketed, Canada has become totally unaffordable to a LOT of Immigrants and actual Canadians. a very SAD state we live in.

I never voted for Trudeau. EVER! And before you think I am a CP supporter, I am not. I am not a Conservative. Yet when he came to power I knew it would be a disaster for this country. In the last 10 years Trudeau's Administration--or considered lack thereof--has just devastated us. His Liberal Government is absolutely disgusting. I wish people would have seen that he was never a good choice. He's enabled life in Canada to just collapse. He has not pushed for anything unless the NDP lit fire under his governments behind in the past few years. Yet they can't do everything. The Liberal Gov't consistently has been utterly lethargic in it's response to any urgency confronting Canadians. They are so out of touch and cynical in my mind it isn't funny. One thing I will agree with that the Conservative Party has said is that everything is broken. As a born and raised Canadian I can tell you it doesn't surprise me that people are leaving this place in droves. If I could, I would too. It is a sorrowful state of affairs. Clearly he points out that the problem is in Palestine. Foreign countries wishing to move Palestinians into their countries are not helping. They simply depopulate Palestine and cause problems in their own countries. A cease fire is the first requirement. Then a negotiated peace with targets of rebuilding infrastructure and accommodation for the population. A larger degree of self sufficiency has to be achieved by Palestine. Their reliance on Isreal is perhaps having a negative influence on Palestine? Of course, Isreal must be able to return to normal too.

If it’s ruled that he’s to be deported(which I agree with) then deport him. If he wishes to appeal on whatever grounds, he can make his appeal from his home country. I personally think that any immigrant found guilty of a serious crime should be deported, but Canadian citizenship prevents that I believe…which is why I don’t think citizenship should only be granted to those born in Canada, leaving the option to deport on the table if you engage in nefarious activities. \nThe fact that he has children born that require health care that’s “only available here” isn’t a factor. He should reap what he sows.

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Sadly the new immigration are bad Trudeau policies that India wanted deported back. Others are temporary honest Indian students that are being ripped off by Canadian wrong policies of shameless cash grab. Assimilation for new immigrants could be something in common e.g. free classical piano lessons for everyone in school. Music and language is a great first step in communication. The drug problem has nothing to do with immigration, it is the result of their own culture of drug abuse and bad Canadian policies. Unfortunately, the racism is what you will find throughout North America, not just in Canada, but especially in the US. I must admit that Canada is not Canada I knew growing up. So much has changed and some not for the better. But if you are looking for a better life, than I wish you both the best of luck for you and your children. The balls on these people. They need to leave the country when they are supposed to legally do so. Canada and actual Canadians should take a stand on this and don’t back down. I do not drink coffee or eat fast food. So I have no need for these people. Get your education and get out. I am an immigrant that came to Canada legally. No one bent the rules for me nor for people whom I have met here that are also immigrants all legally from several different nations in Europe as well as Caribbean and South American. All actually hold decent paying jobs nurses, engineers business owners ect. They work hard to make a life for themselves and their families to become successful Canadians. Send all these students back when their time is up. If not it’s only going to cost Canadians and immigrants that contribute and wish to be Law abiding Canadians that do more than serve food and coffee.

Protesting in another country where you are a student is not allowed and the act itself can get you deported. However, the scams the Canadian colleges and universities do in countries like India and Pakistan is terrible. These students pay almost double the money local kids do. They r most times highly qualified and have availed of an opportunity offered by these institutes. When such things happen, its obvious that they are unhappy. I think the Indian government needs to start issuing advisory. I don't think its worth it, I wish people understood this. The US, Germany/Europe,UK even Australia is much different. Believe it or not, a lot of these students wish to pay back student loans and get out of this scam. Canada is beautiful, but the amount of scams here, prepostrous.

I wish we could have more control over the growth of our country. It is growing too fast.

All student complete their study and go back to their country. And if late wish to come back, then line up like many thousands of others. DO NOT jump the line. In this situation, all should be deported if they are breaking Canadian law.

Because it comes off as like a bragging or a snobbery and I don't go for that. I just want to put it out there Canada is not a destination for purely economic exploitation. \nIt's a place you know for people who I saw people from the former Yugoslavia comment online. The worst mistake during the pandemic lockdown in Canada was the government shoveling out free money and people reinvesting it back into their real estate. So you have billions of Canadians locked out of their jobs big shovel taxpayer money and they all just started renovating their homes. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

Yes, Justin is a nightmare, but the alternative of a Conservative government is even worse! Like in the US, UK and other countries, we have no great options for good leadership. I wish the NDP would get their shit together. Also, you failed to mention the Bloc's dangerous impact in Quebec. They sap much of the Fed vote in our second most populated province. They should not be allowed to be a Federal party when they only have representation in one province. EVERY Federal election is won or lost by blowing Quebec.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with his answer because the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are rightfully the sole property of the Palestinians and no one else, Isreali or other Arabs etc. has no right to determine where Palestinians may live.\n\nHowever, even even if I am in favor of both self-determination and autonomy for Palestinians, it doesn't mean I am a not a supporter of Isreal's right to exist thus, defend itself.\n\nIsreal has every right to both exist and defend itself against Hamas, Hezbolah, Al-Qeda or any other Arab terrorists organization or Arab state as well as especially Iran, that may wish or has declared its intent to wipe Isreal from the face of the world.\n\nAs for Arab states like Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States or any Muslim dominated state in the Mideast or northern Africa taking in refugees is concerned.\n\nThe short answer is that none of these states will take in refugees by the fact that these states failed to take in refugees from recent war zones like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria or Libya in any great and significant numbers.\n\nRecent conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan saw the West come to the aid of these refugees before any Muslim led country.\n\nIf a Muslim country like Turkey took in refugees, it had to be paid by the West to take in refugees from Syria, Afghanistanand Iraq...in the past Lebanon and Jordan likewise have only taken in limited amounts of Palestinians and these refugees are still stuck in refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan eventhough it's been decades that they were forced to settle in these two countries.\n\nSo, don't worry asking if the Arab or Muslim led world takes in refugees because the short answer is they don't in significant numbers and if they do, they begrudgingly do so and in a marginalize fashion.
