I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it. It’s what the Donald and his cronies are counting on. Unfortunately, he does not care about you. He wants to crush you. He does not care about America and what it stands for. He only cares about himself. If you do not have the fight that comes from being proud of your country, you guys are gonna be easy pickings. Do everything you can to find pride in your country. We need you to fight. We need you at our side. We are with you. We will always be with you.

I was glad that not too long ago... Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? By bankrupting the country ?? Does he thinks that 25% tariffs will make Canadians shake in their pants and all of a sudden want to be the 51st State ?? No, it's just like bringing us back to the days before NAFTA. We were able to live back then and we will be able to now as well.

Lol Canadians will fight huh? You ride the coat tail of America and think we're friends. We're the people who empower your economy and protect your freedoms. You would think you would want to help us pay off our debt and generate our own revenue.

Just so it's known but America has never been self-sufficient. We have always been reliant on others with good trade and fairness towards each other. My grandparents went through ww2 and had to go through rations on everything from gas, oil to food and tires. You got a book for everything and had to tear them out to get your products. They said back 1943 they had to keep the farm and barely made it to vday. You all need to look at history and research things. These Republicans and president is gonna ruin farms and cost people to the point they will have to choose their meds or food. Never in my wildest imagination did I think we could have sunk so low and loosing allies and gaining a dictator that was a known Assassin and removed voting in Russia and here we have a guy in charge trying to imitate him. I think something hinky happened with this election because the country I have grown up in does not condone this. I don't know how to stop this, I don't know what is going to happen and I'm scared. i live in Canada and i do not agree with what Justin Trudeau is doing. We SHOULD back down from fighting! This is a war we cannot win.❤ Most people in Canada want Justin out of office. Dont put Tariffs on the USA as they are passed onto the end user/consumer which are the American people. Put the prices up on your sale of electricity, oil and gas 25% that the US government buys, so it hits them first and they will think twice. ..... I think these tariffs/only America and America first policies will be the downfall of Trumps administration and the US economy/influence around the world. I wouldn't put it past him to steal the waitresses' tips off tabletops on his way out the door upon leaving McDonald's. In fact, I would bet everything that he steals the donation jars for Jerry's Kids at the local supermarket. I mean, its already a given that he is likely the guy who filed a lawsuit a few summers back against a sweet, innocent littls FOUR year old boy for having a lemonade stand on property not zoned for commercial use. If it wasn't Trump then I'm sure it's only because he was too busy ordering the National Guard to power hose and pepper spray the 30 or so elderly nuns who had been distributing bottled water to folks demonstrating in support of Black Lives Matter on the hottest day of the year. Satisfied in his victorious battle against the nuns - 9 of whom had been hospitalized for critical injuries including the 92 year old Mother Superior who suffered massive brain bleed, swelling and concussion due to the excessive force of the power hose and an 87 year old nun who lost permanent sight in one eye due to the pepper spray - Trump had the nerve to pose for a publicity shot in front of the church while holding a Bible - UPSIDE DOWN - and scrunching and contorting his face into that hideous trademark scowl he does ever so naturally. Yep. This is the man my fellow Americans chose to represent our nation as President - a man who beats up 90 year old nuns and imposes 25% tax hikes to our ONLY FRIEND in the entire world simply for refusing to accept his invitation for statehood. I mean, come on, Trudeau, is that really asking too much of you? Was it really worth bruising Donny's fragile little ego and sending him into a fit of rage? Imagine voting for Trump over inflation while he was saying he would use tariffs and people thinking it wouldn't affect them. So naive. Trump is an agent of chaos who is anathema to everything this country stands for, and it's self-evident by his actions. We are a country who is strong because of our friends around the world and no one will trust this country when we keep putting an idiot in office who doesn't honor former president's agreements. It is evident he thinks it's a tax and when he sees the numbers in terms of government revenue accredited to tariffs, he ignorantly believes the country is making money. I haven't enjoyed much of Trudeau's office, but this he owns. He really laid it down here. It made me proud to be Canadian. He absolutely, kicked ass and I hope he just hammers Trump. Ukraine must remain in tact and return to its former glory ?? the United States of America ?? can no longer be trusted especially if they attacked their closest allies and insulted us continually did WW1 and WW2 mean absolutely nothing to the U.S.?? when Iran ?? took American hostages Canadians ?? worked tirelessly to devise a plan to get them back to the U.S. and succeeded in doing Just that the Canadians brought back the Americans safely. When 9/11 happened and Canada ?? took on thousands of passengers in Gander Newfoundland Canada ?? we opened our airspace and landed each and every one of them safely then when Americans couldn't get their medication, Gander gave it to them free of charge when Americans went shopping for clothes the stores gave it to them free of charge everything they needed was provided free of charge they were fed housed offered compassion and opened their homes so Americans could shower and clean up. So Canadians has always been there for the U.S.?? and this is how Canada ?? is repaid for its sacrifices made during both wars and other historical events that involved both countries ?????
