I have never understood this selfish way of thinking. Everyone agrees that there needs to be changes to our immigration system, but it has to be done humanely with compassion towards people.

I dont see an abuse rather a fact. Not saying she's right. The fact is she's more Canadian than any recent Immigrants. The thing is, dont be so sensitive as it does not matter unless you seek validations from strangers. especially when such talks comes from an elderly person who perhaps not has alot perspectives and understanding of these generation. If one thinks can change the mentality of others, its absolutely not by arguing or filming. It may not work for everyone but show them kindness regardless and if they gave you the chance to speak, have a pleasant and personal conversation that does not involve politics. \nAs for me, wherever i go regardless of the citizenship i hold, i will always remain Ethiopian and i carry that with sooo much PRIDE!!! Canada and USA are countries where everyone was an immigrant at some point except slaves who were forced there. Nobody has any right to tell others to go back to theirs countries except native Americans

Oh, Brampton’s over 80% non-white, and now it’s a 'mass immigration crisis,' is it? Interesting. I wonder how the Indigenous people felt when waves the Europeans came over and started making themselves at home. We are putting our own people on the street, while subsidizing survival income, there is really big trouble coming, Trudeau has walked right into it. You cannot pave the whole country for immigrants. While everyone is struggling, seniors, young couples, the uneducated and not soon to assimilate. My parents immigrated to Canada in the early 1980’s and both of my parents work 50hrs/week to have a house and send 3 kids to university. We are the second generation and we have a much better life. I have Australia friends who move here (Montreal ) last summer and they finally bought a condominium instead of renting coz they always dream to be owner which was very hard in their city. Everyone situation is different. But thinking Canada is a affordable country is a big misunderstanding.

It is unlawful for you to just walk into another country. Every single country has immigration laws that everyone must follow, in this case, you (vice) follows a person who actively attempts to avoid deportation.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. If the international students can afford to be an international student, then they are doing better than most Canadian students. Considering the fact that it cost international student three times as much for each course. They don't have the luxury to just live with their parents while going to school. International students are doing just fine. They should just go through the immigration system like everyone else. Don't cut in line.

YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. There's so much more than just saying you feel unloved by the people you're taking things from for their children and grandchildren and generations without showing any respect as that is defined as selfish. You and many new immigrants forget this is not India and expect everyone to bow to you and that is what we are against. i Have some awesome friends that are new immigrants and are respectful and want to learn about history and current events and impacts they have and how to reprove Canada not destroy Canada

You asked us to share what we think, so here is what l think... \n\nThe immigration target for 2024 was around 500,000 people true, this includes everyone given a PR in 2024 (spouse, children) but the larger portion of this 500k is via economic migration which only issued a total of 110,000 invitations to apply for 2023 for example. this means that only 110k people were invited to apply for PR. These people have family members (spouse and kids) that accompany them there by increasing the total PR migrants to that +500k figure. \nSo now to your point....\n\nif only 110k people are invited to apply for PR each year, and these people bring family members this means they stay in one house (main applicant, spouse and three kids will stay in 1 house for example)....\n\nif 250k houses are being built each year.... \n\nthis means there are 250k house built each year versus 110 people that came in...\n\nin my view, more than enough houses will be built in the next couple of years to take care of the migrants coming in\n\n\n\nthis is what l think.

I don’t speak for everyone but I don’t hate Indians. I blame the government for mismanagement of immigration. And the pooping on the beaches thing is in fact Indian people. It’s really upsetting to be called liars about that. It happened at Lake Erie too

Guys for everyone watching this, its only Punjab & Haryana protesting here because they are desperate for a Canadian PR or Canadian Asylum....most of India isn't even here. I'm a student myself and because of these folks its getting hard for genuine people to get a stay back. Close all the study abroad centers, IELTS centers and scam immigration from Punjab. They have ruined the name of Indians here.

Rent has gone up, food costs, gas, medication. That's all we can afford. So more people out on the streets. At this time, there is a world wide immigrate problem causing more homelessness. We faced over millions from Mexico and NYC got immigrants from all over the world. The city is trashed. Ohio got thousands of Hattis people. Europe has immigrants from Africa and Asia. Our country and other countries have absolutely no infrastructure and funds to support these people. Ohio is asking for government assistance. The solution now is strict immigration laws and border laws. Everyone that is not a USA citizen must be sent back to their country. Visa cards. Passports. Hungary has the top security system (google) to keep immigrants out of the country. Worse. Thief and crime have skyrocketed! Everyone in NYC are robbing anyone they see and stores are\nclosing. They don't get arrested because anything under $1000 is not a criminal offense. The USA needs to get a grip! These people are asking for handouts, which means the USA poor will not get benefits. It is not just Canada. USA people are getting out of the cities! This is a world wide crisis. Say your prayers. We really need a savior to show up!

Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. This once beautiful community was completely invaded.\n\nSo much for immigrants who immigrate to Canada that do not understand how Canada works and frankly don't care, There is no education program to help integrate such people to be multicultural , unfortunately this happened with the old Europeans as well as little Italy, and other areas where other European took over little areas of Toronto. \n\nHowever I think Brampton, and Surrey/North Delta/Richmond BC. Is far far worse and much more invaded by people not wanting to truly integrate in Canadian society. It's blantantly in your face and when and event happens india or any other countries of such immigrants are coming from they amsss huge protests to bring it to the media as if Canada is responsible for that. Canada isn't responsible for crap going in other countries and we should no be financially supporting any of it so just ignore these people because they frankly don't care about Canada if they did they'd learn about Canada and be more adaptable instead of pointing fingers and calling the locals in the community they invaded racist. \n\nSimilar things are happening in the Canadian workplace few immigrants who are fully bilingual won't speak English they completely shun English speaking people working there. The thing is that if they finished their studies and get some years of work experience they have the right to apply for PR. If the government doesnt want them, they have to modify their immigration laws and rules. They should clearly mention that they only need doctors and so on, everyone is welcome to study though

I'm an immigrant in Canada ( Vancouver) I've been told many times they are ruining the country and they should go home. The catch? I'm from the UK and they are always talking about Indians. Canada is beautiful and has lots of space but the government is forcing everyone into small cities. the Van is so full and expensive but drive out of the city and its Forrest for 1000 miles

Immigration is not bad. It ensures security for an aging population. It is supposed to make the economy stable through taxes paid by everyone. The young pays for the retirement of the older ones. Without worker, the system dies. What every country must do is to be stringent in getting migrants. It must be treated as beneficial to both.

I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

I was in the park a couple days ago and Indians are saying too many immigrants. No jobs!!! It’s getting harder and harder. Not just Brampton the entire Peel. They hire only their OWN they become manager and supervisors then block everyone else from jobs!! Justin your eyes and ears are not on the ground. Canadians are suffering. Running from Brampton is not helping the whites are running as the place looks like India but does that help. They are selling homes and running but that will not help.

So as an indian living in canada as an international student right now i would like to answer the few questions here which i guess the people in video aren’t able to so your 1 st question was that why would anyone like to come in this stolen land if there is lot of racism and injustice so as an i answer i would say the racism which you can see in comment section of this video itself about “deporting” is adressed in similar scenarios i have seen as yoi see the comment section there are very annoying comments such as “imagine the smell” so i would like to say that not everyone came here are workers in tim hartons and gas stations indians are also at the highest post in corporate sectors and indeed in restaurant businesses so to identify all of the indians same as many other is inappropriate , the people with no skillset and proper planning should be deported because no country needs labours or people without any kind of skill .the main demand of people protesting is to give them a chance as the people who came as international students have many debts to pay but neglecting that fact immigration control is responsibility of government not the immigrants .so at last i would say every problem has a solution don’t stick to the problem find the solution

Deportation , everyone with expired visa should be sent back home , close the borders until immigration system is fixed .

And you see, this is why I usually sympathize with Justin Trudeau. A portion of the population would like to see a decrease in immigration, another portion would like to see an increase in immigration because they benefit financially from it. There is absolutely no way to please everyone.

Lawyers are the biggest clowns, I am an immigrant myself and I never used their services. They are part of the problem because many of them like to lie encouraging everyone to apply for different process giving hope to newcomers to stay. They get money whatsoever even the immigrants' visa process don't work out.

This is ridiculous.. are there only Indian international students who are affected? How come other nationalities don’t cause any ruckus like this? And now you know what happens if you let them stay and give them a PR, imagine they becoming citizens and causing riots as and when things don’t go their way.. they’ve shown you what they really are.. they’re making it difficult for other immigrants too.. some of them live quietly and peaceably and these clowns are destroying it for everyone..

Pierre Poilievre is not going to send everyone home who are here now. In every interview he reminds everyone he is married to an immigrant. He'll definitely slow down the growth but you are wacked if you think he's going to hurt immigrants.

Everyone , and I mean EVERYONE that is a NON-CITIZEN that was brought in since 2024 should be sent home. No excuses. Foreign exchange students , LIMA , Illegals , refugees , EVERYONE.\nUntil we send about 1-3million people packing, we will continue our downward spiral .\n\nPlease also discuss the fact Trudeau wants to make it possible for immigrants to become residents if they have a close family member that is a citizen in Canada.\n\nThis is ALL a ruse . Its a lie . They are pulling the whool over our eyes.\n\nThey tell us there will be deportations OR that we will not be taking any lima/foreign student applications and then they make another loophole that allows EVEN MORE PEOPLE IN!!!

Too many at once...flip side is much harder for black people but extremely easy for white European people...but everyone forget we are all immigrants

The funny thing is trudeau caused this issue and it's only years later he realizes he has to reverse it. Everyone that has immigrated in the past 5 years should be deported. We do not need 3 million immigrants in the span of 5 years. I have nothing but bad experiences with people from india, scamming, fraud, lying etc. Even Canadian born east indians do not like the people that are coming from india because of their culture and how they try to go around the laws and break the laws especially with businesses.

Denmark has done the the right thing ,they educate immigrants about their culture ,values and living ,so that they don't create mess there , the problem is with regard to left leaning politics which is very liberal in terms of immigration and due to their faults everyone is suffering and strict rule needs to be created that if any stupid indian causes crime ,he/she needs to be deported back to INDIA . Just for the record i am from india.

Honestly this is a worldwide problem affecting not only first world countries but also growing economies, Im Mexican and a big wave of first world immigrants to my country have raised the prices in housing, food, etc, a lot of us has been forced to move to find more affordable prices, since previous rents doubled or in some cases got triplicated.\n\nAnd I know they are moving because the situation in their own countries have gone so hard that everyone is looking for a better chance, the world governments needs to do something because life is getting hard for EVERYONE.

My family immigrated to this country 2 decades ago, the decline of the quality of education, healthcare and other social aspects have been tremendously impacting everyone. This have had happen within the last few years and it is sickening.
