New York sucks when they protect illegal immigrants more than USA citizens

Immigration gone amuck. NY is the new L.A.

How about advocating for the legal immigrants that live here now or the homeless of NYC. The city council, governor, and mayor all need to kick rocks. They are the worst. Sometimes, i really think that these officials forget that the stuff they do in Manhattan trickles into the other boroughs. New York is not just Manhattan. Brooklyn and Queens and the Bronx are right across the Hudson. Long Island and Staten island are above and below. These officials are affecting the funding that comes to all the boroughs because they want to act progressive. None of the officials of New York are actually progressive. The way they live shows there real nature.

I don't understand why new York is accepting illegal immigrants what do they get in return? Help me understand their stupidity.

Canada's current reality in 2024 includes 1.2 million new immigrants and an estimated 0.5 million undocumented individuals living in the country.
\nThe question is: Who is managing these 1.2 million newcomers—, including refugees, international students, and undocumented individuals? How is this being addressed in the housing market, especially with only 413,000 new job positions available for unemployed people and newcomers, across Canada in 2024 and for the years to come, to ensure economic sustainability?

They need to let the people vote on Sanctuary city status. In New York and in Chicago where I am. Because it would probably lose. And that is why they are not letting us vote. And true about the mayor, he started speaking up against the Immigration policy a year ago, so they targeted him.

ICE: With too much work to do: First: FOCUS ON NON-SANCTURARY CITIES/STATES and areas with compliant authorities; REWARD THEM for their help. This will PUSH illegal immigrants into Sanctuary areas e.g., New York and Chicago, overloading them with costs and challenges in education, healthcare, policing, accommodation, judiciary, and finances. Over time, these pressures will overwhelm the sanctuaries, prompting Voters there to Change Their Minds, Policies and, hopefully, their Politicians… Second: Keep the pressure up until the 'Mid-Terms'... THEN we'll know if VOTERS have Learned Their Lessons... if not... Third: THEN strategically reduce Federal funding to the sanctuaries that haven't Learned Their Lessons… This approach won’t unjustly or inordinately punish patriots.

Any New Yorker that wants illegals in nyc can invite them to live with them in their own homes and pay for them. Good Luck\nWe have immigration laws that need to be followed. \nSame like stopping for a red light not shoplift or commit violent crimes. We have laws we follow.

Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! If they're in agreement with this insanity & rebellion then cut this state off from all federal funding and let New Yorkers pay for these illegals all by themselves. I don't want my tax dollars paying for any illegals. Especially when there are so many Americans living on the streets and/or not even getting by with this failed & fraudulent economy the Democrat Party has given us. Democrat voters aren't being kind and compassionate by wanting them here. They are enabling these people and by doing so, preventing them from growing up and raising their consciousness into a higher state of mind. By wanting to protect criminals, pedophiles, rapists, murderers, thieves, violence and rebellion from being deported, they're displaying for America they're psychology/consciousness of a death wish. This is a psychology of death and failure!!! The Democrat politicians and voters didn't vote for President Trump's agenda but the vast majority of We the People most certainly did. Chuck Shumer, Maxine Waters, all Democrat politicians and Democrat voters, YES, WE DID AND WE WON THE BATTLE!!! \n\nThese illegals are not weak and needing help. They're now uniting, protesting and waving their country's flag against their deportation, which they absolutely have no rights in America to do so. They have no rights here!!! That takes gall, audacity showing their rebellion against American voters and an unreality in their third world psychology to believe they do. We have been forced to deal with this abusive, violent third world psychology for far too long. They have a strong willpower so return to their country, unite there, raise their flags there and rebel against their corrupt government! They don't belong here as they don't have America's vibration. They just continue demanding and taking America by violent force. They are using and abusing tax payers' money and their goal of turning America into their violent third world hellishness must stop now! When they want to become part of America, get in line and make application in our legal immigration program. These illegals do not rate higher than those who are coming here legally!!!

Don't listen to that garbage right winged fox media. Canada was dealing with this well before Trump took office again. As a Canadian, I can tell you our government failed us too. We took in well over 5 million immigrants (documented and undocumented) over the past 3 years. Like New York, many of our cities are overwhelmed with this influx. We don't even have the resources to track down expired visas, overstays, or asylum cases. Last year our government admitted there was a problem and decided to start taking action. The biggest issue is people claim to be tourists with no intent of leaving. The Canada US border is far stronger than our international one.
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
Hurray! Please, come to the Queens border with Bushwick. It's a wreck! And the illegal immigrants are practically laughing in our faces. When is the Santuary city law going to be resinded? I vote don't remember this being on the ballot during the Ed Koch administration ? Lastly the governor of New York State is say to the legal residents, we don't care about your safety or the needs that you may have to have a better life. ??
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
None of these people are Legal Immigrants. There has been no New Immigration Law Passed that covers these Asylum Seekers. This was all done by Dictator & Criminal Joe Biden. Thats why every time they talk about passing a new Immigration Law you hear about granting Amnesty to these Illegals. If they were here Legally they wouldn't have to do anything regarding these people.

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.

The reason places like New York are doing that is because illegal immigration is a money maker. It's the same with homelessness.

New Yorker’s we need to take back our state. Stop\nvoting Leftist Democrats in our state. It will never change if we don’t. \nHochul needs to be fired, along with James and Bragg, Dem legislatures and city council members who are leftist need to go as well. We need good governance from Republicans that will clean up crime and our cities from corruption and follow Federal laws about immigration. Bring back wealth.

Immigrants fly to Montreal posing as tourists. The airport border patrol officer welcomes them with a smile, wishes them a nice vacation and stamps their passport. The immigrants make their way to the border somewhere between Maine and New York. They sneak across the border at night. The problem is that Canada lets everyone in as long as they have something that resembles a passport. Canada needs to stop the open border “immigration to all” system at the international airports and shipping ports.

Remember New York sued companies that Texas hired to transport illegal immigrants . We need to sue because these bus companies are causing a tax burden

Good take them back take them all the way back, We can't afford to feed them our economy is in Jeopardy, our people are going to be cut off of SNAP benefits. We certainly can't give SNAP benefits to them. New York City needs to stop this nonsense. Now we can't afford ourselves. We can't afford illegal immigrants

This is sad. Cash. You don't care of what you are doing to people. You are causing those gangs and those criminals illegal immigrants to still come to New York. Do you once care about how the New Yorker's feels about what you're doing to their city. Robberies, children being snatched, assault's and rape. You need to stop.

NO FEDERAL FUNDING TO NEW YORK. Enough is enough, even the people of New York need to vote OUT the politicians that are corrupt and allow the illegals and break the law of immigration
|

Real question are people who the support sanctuary cities all mentally ill? I understand somewhat the people with financial incentive to keep the illegal immigrants flowing but at the cost of public safety? A ridiculous situation. Hopefully Mayor Adams works with ICE to make New York safer.

As a Texan I came to have distain for the States of New York and California pushing policies and legislation that made no sense and even seemed anti-American. Texas has transformed in many ways for the negative due to the amount of illegal immigration that has taken place over the last 20 years.
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
Cash? You are causing the problem in New York. That's why New York is the way it is now. You say? New York is a sanctuary city. The immigrants are going to come. You are causing all those immigrants to come to New York and telling them that they will be taking care of and protected. You are causing New Yorker's to move out of their city that they love. You're the reason the Mayor of New York is pressured to step down. You're the reason people had to quit their city jobs. You are causing Soo many illegal immigrants to come to New York President Trump had to block them from coming. You won't stop telling illegal immigrants that New York is a sanctuary city. New York is terrible now. What more do you want Cash to happen to this city.

??Hi Cash, my respect to your great reporting. Here’s a good idea. Follow the money. Reveal the “non-profit” businesses receiving millions of dollars and the names of the owners. Publish the names of those persons fighting to keep illegal immigrants in this Sanctuary city. Investigate how much money they receive and the source. It’s my opinion that migrant use and abuse has become a side business for wealthy New Yorkers. Stop the money and the rats will scatter!

New Yorkers want immigrants to replace black workers. It's simple. Most young New Yorkers are racist. Black Council members are uncle Tom's. All of them know that those same immigrants hate blacks. In Chicago, the immigrants bragged about taking jobs and money from blacks. The city council blacks know that.

I used to watch you but now you just spread misinformation. It is amazing how quickly you pivoted your channel to a pro Trump narrative.\n\nThe deal for Canada to increase border security was made under Biden not Trump. Just like Trump to take credit for something he didn't do.\n\nUnder the new 2023 deal, the agreement was expanded to cover the entire U.S.-Canada border, allowing both countries to turn back asylum seekers who crossed illegally. Canada is fulfilling its commitment to the deal made with Biden not Trump.\n\nWhy was the deal made?\nCanada was experiencing a surge in asylum seekers, particularly at Roxham Road, where tens of thousands of migrants entered from the U.S. Many came from the U.S. after facing stricter immigration policies under Biden.\n\nCanada increased border enforcement to prevent irregular crossings.

Basically, for the past four years, Biden, Harris and the Democrat Party have spent hundreds of billions of US tax dollars flying illegal immigrants in and basically leaving America’s borders in Mexico and Canada wide open to mass illegal immigration. Then they lied to the American people about the real numbers and how bad the problem really was. In the past few years, the Democrats have spent billions throughout all of our federal agencies via misappropriated US taxpayer funds that were earmarked for American citizens or American infrastructure and development, then used these misappropriated, taxpayer funds to provide housing, food, education, medical care, and in most cases, luxury hotels. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. The Democrats are trying to manipulate taxpayers into believing utter nonsense like their phrase “ no one voted for Elon Musk. “ but in reality no citizen ever votes for the hundreds of the civilian presidential appointed positions to run these federal agencies, every new president pics/appoints to these positions every term. It definitely explains why hard-working tax paying men and women are getting completely ripped off and robbed every time they look at their paycheck and see how extremely and unnecessarily high taxes are now. The Democratic Party has completely destroyed its reputation with the American taxpayer, they got completely exposed for their corrupt, anti-American, extremist, radical, and woke liberal agenda. They were absolutely using tens of millions of US taxpayer funds to finance terrorist organizations like the Taliban and Isis, billions of US taxpayer funds, pushing their racist and sexist woke liberal DEI agenda across the globe, they were absolutely bribing corporate news media to control the narrative and manipulate the American people to influence elections via corporate news media subscription payments to very left, leaning news organizations, such as politico and others, that were clearly and obviously bribes to the media, just one of the NGO of many organizations under U.S. AID paid $75,000 of taxpayer money a year for a Digital subscription to politico’s corporate news outlet , that any one could sign up for $10 a year like any other news outlets digital subscription. The list of fraud, corruption, and very obvious US taxpayer funds theft, just goes on and on and on. I think the worst betrayal of it all is the fact that any US tax paying citizen or to steal one single US tax dollar from the government, we would be publicly arrested, put in handcuffs, charged with a felony, and prosecuted to the absolute max, the law would allow, but these Washington elite politicians are allowed to do this without even a public slap on the wrist is the most disgusting and devious, betrayal, and loss of trust that the American taxpayer has ever known.???????????????????????????????????????????

It's why i prefer to be happy in the United States of living in. I no longer wish to go to Canada to live. The anti-immigrant sentiment in Canada has become the worst, more so than what is now with Donald Trump in the United States. A new prime minister in Canada should be elected and governing.

America is doing what is right for them. There are lakhs and lakhs of illegal immigrants in America allowed to come in by democrats, I heard most of them had voting rights, States like California, Florida, Los Angeles, New York are flooded by illegals allowed in by Democrats to win elections. Now the Republicans are sending them back, simple.America made the mess and America is cleaning it.

What do they think Donald Trump‘s gonna put a 25% terra tax on Canada if they don’t quit letting illegals cross the border and go into New York. Trump will most definitely send ice to New York and get rid of everyone of them. He also said that anybody that harbors Illegal immigrants. It’s a crime and they will be removed from office and put in prison. I think that’s a good idea. He’s going to put an into immigrants coming into our country and freeloading off the American people. I don’t blame him. I feel the same way. Get them the hell out of our country.???♂️?♂️?

Funny how a criminal is deporting people that are here illegally looking for a better life. Now whom is the real criminal the person that rapes insights an institution pisses all over the constitution and stole half a billion dollars from New York. You tell me. So when is the plane full of Irish illegal immigrants taking off.
|

Why is this news because prior to Trump deportation immigrants in the country illegally was always on a plane going back shackled on their legs. This is not new

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

I have no problem with illegal immigrants being sent back—law is law. But what about the highly trained doctors, engineers, and CEOs who got their IIT/AIIMS education using Indian taxpayers' money, only to flee abroad for better salaries? If they want to stay in the USA, fine—that's their choice. But they shouldn't be allowed back in India when it suits them, nor should their relatives be allowed to demand their presence when needed. Instead, the Indian government should video-call them regularly, showing them all the new facilities and opportunities being created here, even planning a new city just for their return! Let’s see if they really care about India or just enjoy foreign comforts while pretending to miss home...

The problem is throughout the Anglo World, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, we are allowing millions of immigrants from the third world, when in fact if AI is going to take 70/80pct of jobs in the future we do not need immigrants from the third world at all. The fewer people we have, the more wealthy we are. The other problem is allowing immigrants from non-compatible cultures of people who do not share our values, culture, religion, or way of life, they generally live in their own areas, speak their own language, and do not/cannot integrate into society, most consider themselves as Indian, not Canadian because like for instance in the UK where we have similar or worse problems, they can never be English, or Scottish, or Welsh or Northern Irish. We are not and never have been nations of ''communities'', we are Canadian, American British, and Australian, but we are all connected in our Judeo-Christian roots, values, culture, and way of life, the vast majority of these third-world immigrants can never be part of what we are. That causes resentment, even jealousy, and one day it will end badly

I suspect that china mastermind this mass entry of illegal immigrants rushing to the boarder. They know exactly that USA government won't harmed civilians and if by too much chaos some got hurt, it will be a tool to blame the new policy and thereby a chance to withdraw restrictions and thereby a certain fall of America in the hands of CCP.

Trump says EU tariffs will ‘definitely happen’ as Mexico, Canada and China retaliate
\nTrump takes softer line on UK, saying ‘I think that one can be worked out’, while Mexico and Canada vow levies and to strengthen ties with each other

\nDonald Trump has threatened to widen the scope of his trade tariffs, repeating his warning that the European Union – and potentially the UK – will face levies, even as he conceded that Americans could bear some of the economic brunt of a nascent global trade war.
\n
\nIt comes as Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, announced on Saturday, sparked retaliation from all three countries. Mexico and Canada have vowed levies of their own while China and Canada are seeking legal challenges.
\n
\nTrump said on Sunday night that new tariffs on the EU will “definitely happen”, repeating previous complaints about the large US trade deficit with the bloc and his desire for Europe to import more American cars and agricultural products.
\n

\n“It will definitely happen with the European Union, I can tell you that,” he told reporters. “I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline but it’s going to be pretty soon.”
\n
\nTrump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said.
\n
\n“Well Prime Minister Starmer’s been very nice, we’ve had a couple of meetings, we’ve had numerous phone calls, we’re getting along very well, we’ll see whether or not we can balance out our budget.”
\n
\nIn Canada, the department of finance published a list of US products imported into Canada that it will target with a 25% retaliatory tariff starting on Tuesday.
\n
\nThe list shows products that will be hit in the first round of retaliatory tariffs by Canada starting on Tuesday, and mounts to $30bn Canadian dollars’ worth of goods (about US$20bn). The impacted products include tobacco, produce, household appliances, firearms and military gear.
\n
\nCanada is also preparing for a second, broader round of retaliatory tariffs in 21 days that will target an additional C$125bn (US$86bn) worth of US imports. The second list would include passenger vehicles, trucks, steel and aluminum products, certain fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, dairy products and more.

Washington will impose a 25 percent levy on imports from Canada and Mexico, with a 10 percent rate on Canadian energy resources, until both work with the United States on drug trafficking and immigration. \nClaudia Sheinbaum, Mexico’s president, said her government will provide more details on the retaliatory tariffs she ordered on US goods on Monday. Sheinbaum, in a statement on Sunday, said she will announce details on her government’s “plan B” as she insisted that Mexico “doesn’t want confrontation”.
\n
\n“Problems are not addressed by imposing tariffs, but with talks and dialogue,” she said. “Sovereignty is not negotiable: coordination yes, subordination no.”
\n
\n'Coordination yes, subordination no': Mexican president responds to Trump's tariffs – video
\nSheinbaum and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone on Saturday after Trump’s administration imposed the new tariffs – 25% on goods from Canada and Mexico, with a lower rate of 10% for Canadian oil, and 10% on imports from China.
\n
\nTrudeau’s office said in a statement that Canada and Mexico agreed “to enhance the strong bilateral relations” between their countries. Canadian officials have had extensive dialogue with their Mexican counterparts, but a senior Canadian official said he would not go as far as to say the tariff responses were coordinated.
\n
\n“Now is the time to choose products made right here in Canada,” Trudeau posted Sunday on X. “Check the labels. Let’s do our part. Wherever we can, choose Canada.”
\n
\nTrump acknowledged the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on Mexico, Canada and China may cause “short term” pain for Americans as global markets reflected concerns the levies could undermine growth and reignite inflation. Asian markets, cryptocurrencies and US and European stock futures slumped in early Asian trading on Monday.
\n
\n“We may have short term some little pain, and people understand that. But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world,” he said. day, Trudeau said: “We’re certainly not looking to escalate, but we will stand up for Canada.” However on Sunday evening, a senior government official from Canada briefing reporters in Ottowa on condition of anonymity said: “We will obviously pursue the legal recourse that we believe we have through the agreements that we share with the United States.”
\n
\nThe official said the Canadian government considered the move by Trump illegal and said it violates the trade commitments between the two countries under their free trade agreement and under the World Trade Organization.
\n
\n“If other legal avenues are available to us, they will be considered as well,” the official said.
\n
\nCanada is the largest export market for 36 states, and Mexico is the largest trading partner of the US.
\n
\nCanada and Mexico ordered the tariffs despite Trump’s further threat to increase the duties charged if retaliatory levies are placed on US goods.
\n
\nChina also said it would file a lawsuit against the tariffs. The imposition of tariffs by the US “seriously violates” World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, China’s commerce ministry said in a statement, urging the US to “engage in frank dialogue and strengthen cooperation”.
\n
\nFiling a lawsuit with the WTO would be a largely symbolic move that Beijing has also taken against tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles by the EU.
\n
\nThe commerce ministry also said the tariffs were “not only unhelpful in solving the US’s own problems, but also undermine normal economic and trade cooperation”. China has said it would take countermeasures to “safeguard its own rights and interests”. It is not clear exactly what form these will take yet.
