As an indian who has traveled to many countries, I feel embarrassed seeing other indians give us a bad name from lacking basic behavioural manners, Modi should launch a campaign for how to behave, instead of swach bharat and all these nonsense

Go see how these students and Indian tourist behave ,It’s disgusting and appalling . No manners ,they are rude .do not follow , local laws and regulations. Indian panjabi students they don’t respect others country culture because their lacking knowledge of western. One of most hated south Asian in Canada.

Dear Palki and Firstpost channel, I appreciate this post but maybe if possible could you pls make a post/report on why some Indians are desperate to leave and most importantly the behaviour of some of our countrymen in foreign lands which gives a bad repute and leaves a bitter taste about our country in foreign lands? Shouldn't these ppl be held accountable too, especially when they are fortunate enough to have the means to visit foreign lands? I have seen first hand the way some of our ppl behave and try to twist and manipulate everything to their benefit, lacking basic respect.

lets talk about basic civic and common sense which many of of our fellow indians lack, so yeah its better that they are being banned.

The real reasons for the high visa rejections are illegal immigrants,boorish behavior and lack of respect for the local culture.

as an NRI who lived in US, UK, and Canada, I can tell you that the so called developed nations are over hyped. Yes, there are so many things that are better in these countries compared to india, but all these countries lack one thing. Respect towards fellow human beings. I lived in several states in India, we have problems, but nothing compared to these countries. Indians don't belong outside of india. Don't go to any country out side of iindia...you are not welcome. I came back to india and I am living peacefully.

This good news. Any idiot with money and connection was getting through and then dragging reputation of Indians through the mud in foreign countries due to their lack of civics sense.

Our behavior abroad is a problem: talking loud, jumping queues, no sense of personal space, eating habits (we heap our plates at the buffet, can't eat it all & throw it), lack of punctuality etc. Many hotels keep watch on our groups during the free buffet breakfast, for, we tend to surreptitiously fill our lunch boxes on the sly! We go for the cheapest options everywhere (Chinese go for expensive things). Basic manners & maybe a foreign language must be taught from childhood at schools.

Illegal migrations, visa overstays and lack of integration etc stop blaming others.

The headline is misleading - suggests India is rejecting visa applications. Anyway, reality is India, and the Modi government’s priority, is to ensure Indian intake into foreign countries increases substantially. This is due to the lack of jobs and resources locally. The bigger issue is fraudulent applications. The Australian government blacklisted student applicants from Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar and 3 other states for high proportion of fraudulent applications. Sadly, after Narendra Modi visited Sydney when a Quad meeting was called off but Modi still travelled, Gujarat was removed from the blacklisted states. One fraud leading to another fraud. That is the core DNA of the country and the genuine applicants too suffer.

India's over population is the biggest concern to the whole world. India should simply merge with Australia, USA, UK, Canada and NEW zealand. So many indians are dying to migrate to these counties. So many indians do not want to live in india due to lack of quality of life, corruption, pollution and over population. If india merges with these countries they can move half of the indian population to these countries and the quality of life in India will improve.

It's time people stopped crossing borders. It's causing uneasiness across the globe especially by Hindians and Mueslis. It's causing upheavals in society in the intended destinations. I go to India regularly to this part of India and the amount of fervour to go to Canada is like fire - by hook or crook. Bogus documents presented to the Canadian embassy in Delhi, and the embassy being totally inept to tell the difference due to lack of knowledge. Crooked travel agents minting money like no tomorrow!

Palki why not do some due diligence…research before wasting five minutes and 20 seconds on defending a position. The largest number of overstayers in the UK are Indians….not Burkina Fasosns or Cubans. West London has about 15000 students…who speak so poor English that one fails to understand how they understand lessons in English! They work as waiters at the wedding venues and fast food outlets. \nI found them doing the same in Sydney. They are 18 year old….if they attend any college…it is not a university..but community colleges! What higher education are they going to get there that wasn’t available in India. They don’t have funds to eat two meals a day and end up in Temples and Gurudwara everyday. They fill containers for the next meal too. Their public behaviour and lack of etiquette causes resentment in local population.

There are tons of visas being approved everyday, for Indians, for multiple countries. There are a lot of reasons why a visa is rejected, incomplete application, lack of suff funds, unable to explain the reasons for travel with adequate paperwork , and lot of other issues that every consulate has to deal with across the world. If the rejection rate is over 70%, that would be a concern and best not to travel to that place anyways.

Cheating, lawless citizens to blame, who don't know how to behave in a civilised setting and lacks basic civic sense. No one prefers people from the land of 'scamsters'. Don't think India is a 'big' thing, and Modi is vishwaguru - politicians and media are just fooling you!!! Yes this is coming from an Indian only.

Indians need to stop illegal migration. With 1.4 billion people we know there will always be such cases but offlate I feel this has gone out of hand. \n\nShould we blame the countries that reject?\n\nI’d rather look inward. First reason because of Frauds.. Specifically from Andhra, Telangana and Gujarat.. Full of every possible fraud.. AP+TL = IT Fraud. Guj = Every possible other fraud. 80 -90 perc of my friends dont want to live in India. Fact is there is no good life in India-poor payscale, poor infra, lack of freedom and high taxes!! High competion and corruption everwhere makes life toxic

In my workplace, I have had positive interactions with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and other Asian cultures. Regrettably, issues have arisen with some Indian coworkers due to their inclination to work solely with other Indians. My experiences with Pakistani and Bangladeshi colleagues have been particularly pleasant, as they have consistently demonstrated kindness. However, some Indian colleagues have displayed narcissistic tendencies and a lack of respect, prioritizing their own needs above others. This selfish behavior has created difficulties for Canadian colleagues, who find it challenging to work collaboratively with these individuals. Moreover, I have noticed that some Indian employees, upon securing a job, focus exclusively on hiring other Indians, leading to a lack of diversity in the workplace. This has raised concerns about racism, as some Indian individuals have exhibited prejudice towards black and white colleagues, often using derogatory language and pretending to work while failing to make meaningful contributions.

It is the biggest stain on America that they dont cover their citizens with healthcare...the next biggest stain is their lack of willingness to pressure their congressional body to change your awful dangerous gun laws that are killing your children.

The worst kind of people are those who lack empathy.

most immigrants to the west come from privileged strata of the rest of the world for improved economic opportunities, not the lack of opportunities...so stop pretending like it's a charity and global poverty eradication

I have been in a lot of places working around the world, worked with south asian people. IMO, majority of them ( Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshi, Shri lankans, Nepalese) specially Indians, lacks good manners and right conduct, they don't care about safety at work, don't care about proper health hygiene, unsanitary food preparation, cooking and serving (as we saw on a lot of videos here at YT and other social media platform). It looks like they really don't have any health concerns in regards to food bacterial contamination and safety. If these behaviours maintained and acted on places they go and lived, who you thought would be happy and delighted? Just a common sense...if these people does not and could not do the GMRC (Good manners and right conduct), that a lot of civilized world does, they don't belong and had to leaved.

I have been living in canada my whole life and worked my ass off to get into a really prestigious university program. Everyone I knew is looking to leave Canada, and mind you these are all HIGHLY skilled stem grads. I am included in that as well, I love Canada, but I am also an Indian, nobody sees the difference between me(someone who has been raised here) and someone fresh from India with no lack for the culture. (unless they hear my accent) I don't think staying is worth it. Probably looking to head to the states.

I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. They don't worked very hard, they are rude, they have no respect for other nationalities, racist as fuck, and the list goes on. I have been living in Canada for 34 years and I have never once felt isolated. Now, I feel like Canada has become India. I'm sorry, Trudeau have turned this Canada into a 3rd world Country. I'm sorry, India is the number one hated Country on the planet as we speak. England, Australia, & many other countries are not allowing Indian students to enter anymore. The proof is in the pudding! Totally unaware of the problem and why they are hated so much. He obviously doesn't read comments or watch the videos too much because the major reason they are not liked is that their attitude and lack of wanting to assimilate into Canada is the problem. There is a lack of long term vision and poor political 'leadership' around the world. However, declining birth rates will solve the problem in the long run (and bring some nasty new problems with it).

Born and raised in Canada. Grew up believing anyone could do well here if you apply yourself as an average person. Household income was higher then the USA and for the most part 'middle class life' was pretty attainable. Now I've had some bumps along the way that has nothing to do with this to set me back, but today I look at the 'make a life market' and the opportunities are none. You either own a home and are doing well, or your a renter going backwards every year because of inflation and the brain drain. Entrepreneurs have left the country. We as a country have not done much since the 1980's. We stagnated in The Boomers success and never made a future for their children. Then in the past few years, we have rampant immigration to add to the fire. Canada, for a lack of words is a Dumpster Fire. DON'T MOVE HERE!

For NRI's this is so relatable. It's the same issue with Indian embassies across the world. The officials at the Indian embassies lack basic human empathy. This typical sarkari babu attitude has to go .

I think the Canadian government has made it far too easy for anyone to immigrate. As an Indian living in India, I can attest that many of us look for the easiest way out and often lack a strong moral compass. Additionally, most of us struggle with adapting to new environments, possibly due to an archaic education system that emphasizes rote learning over conceptual understanding. Many Indians also face challenges with proficiency in the English language.\n\nUnfortunately, Canada’s relatively lenient immigration policies have allowed a significant number of unskilled individuals from India to settle there. Many of these individuals have been reluctant to embrace Canadian culture. Corruption may have played a role as well, with some local Canadian colleges and universities admitting students who lacked merit. Given the extreme levels of corruption in India, this is not surprising.\n\nThe root issue lies in the Canadian government’s lack of strictness and vigilance when formulating immigration rules and policies. Many Indians, frustrated with the current government and financial hardships, seek to leave the country in hopes of a better life in the West. While educated individuals follow proper processes, the uneducated often resort to questionable means. In Canada’s case, this negligence on the part of both governments has had unfortunate consequences.\n\nI hope stricter policies and more accountability lead to better outcomes in the future.

The problem here isn't Australia or Canada. The problem is in India! The Government of India has failed to lift living standards in India. The services people require are lacking or not there. The education system needs to be completely overhauled and built. Requiring people to go to another nation for education is a clear indication the government has failed. I work with many Indian people and I hear the same thing over and over , there's just to many people in India! The people of India need to push their government to do better and do more for the people. There is no dought this can be achieved but the corruption needs to end. God bless India

You are absolutely right. Some of the recent Indian imports to Canada and US are totally unsuitable to reside out of India. Their behavior in public, lacking civic sense, lacking sense of hygiene and lacking politeness. I have lived in the States for 50 years. I have never experienced racism ever. I dont blame Canadians or Americans for being fed up with Indians. Unfortunately some of the new arrivals from India never got the opportunity to learn the etiquettes that the Westerners are accustomed to. They don't care and don't even want to learn. The saying 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do' is completely foreign to them.
