Indians cause restricted time drinking in Singapore. Visa restriction to Indian is a must thing.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Indians should drop these countries as a travel destination. The amount they are wasting is visa application, in the same amount they will get thousand times better experience in royal India.

Don't blame the countries for taking time to assess. Blame the Indian society/economics that is forcing people to exit the country. Well said! I hope our Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes note. It's high time India earns global respect, particularly from the UK, USA and EU. Offering arrival visas to income tax filers could be a game-changer and a start to that direction and will motivating more people to file returns to get that pride status. Currently, only 3% of Indians file tax returns, whereas at least 10% should. This initiative would benefit India and provide developed countries with a better filtering process.

The Indian talent you say, the insurance scams, the welfare scams, it’s about time our governments cracked down on this.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

Plain and simple, Indians brainwashed about holding citizenships abroad whereas the reality of those of us who are with foreign visas, realize it is just hype. We Indians are succors. Best advice is never ever believe touts, media or friends that it is greener in the West. Go on a short work contract not take a loan or sell up and leave. These Western countries are unlike job visas to the Gulf so be very careful before making a move in hope of a better life.

Now foxconn has to get taiwanese ppl to go to india to teach staff otherwise it wont meet its targets.

My both canada and mexico got rejected recently ???pretty devastating.For a fact i have all the documents and funds but i am being denied by canada stating like i dont have enough home connection.so far i have been born and brought up entirely in India and all my relatives are here.In mexico tourist visa they didn't give a reason ?.Just simply waste of time,money and effort.There should be some strict laws to tackle this problem then only we Indians can have the liberty and proper respect.

I know a Indian friend who when he was a student due to climate issue got in a delayed flight in UAE, he hates politics but he follows a philosophy that's eye for an eye, and that is if everyone can be a thief nobody will be a thief, if you steel from me, I've the right to do the same, he was denied a 1 day visa by the UAE government and had to stay in the airport for 15 hours, he was angry, while others in the flight was given a 1 day visa, so say 15 years later, he is running his own business abroad, got a chance in open interview to interview students, saw one was a UAE citizen, he never took the interview for him, his philosophy, after 15 hours of waiting, he will take that student's interview, he took other's interview, after time was over he left the office and later the student left, his attitude is he as the right to do the same.

The UAE implemented this change for everyone not just Indians. I’m Jordanian and used to go there often with a simple visa. Last time they asked for much more information compared to prior years.

Whether a driving school, moving company or other business, they are well known to bypass regulations and swindle Canadians. Demanding overcharges at the time of delivery etc. If there is a scam running, they are involved. In about 2004 almost every Indian real estate agent in Alberta had their license pulled because they were proven to be involved in mortgage fraud on a massive scale. Not to mention we can no longer enjoy peace and quiet in our own homes without having some Indian calling us from India, trying to plant viruses on our computer, steal our life savings, or otherwise do as much damage to Canadians as they can. If there is a way to cheat the government or cheat on immigration, they will have their hand in it. I will not even talk to an Indian on the phone anymore - period! As a general rule, Canadians have learned that they can't be trusted.

Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. The East indians knew that if they boarded their flight to the US they would get sent back to the UK and hence India so they decided to illegally cross our border. Canada could not have prevented this. But now that we know this is what they need to do , we along with the Americans should step up our security. They could be terrorists. The majority of Canadians are sick and tired of the amounts of Indians coming to Canada committing crimes. India still is a sh**hole country with inequality much worse than at the time of the British Empire. \nCanada presents an illusion of utopia when in reality it's an unaffordable frozen wasteland with miserable people. \nImmigrants that Canada wants to keep, those with high income and pay the most taxes are the least likely to continue to stay here while the already wretched in India do find Canada to provide a marginal improvement to their lives leading to resentment from the local populace who blame all their problems on Indians.

Indians are Involved in CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES, our Canadian HR Recruiters are All Temp Indians and hiring only new comer Indians, Everywhere its Indians working,.There is a saying Hr Recruiters Indians, Indian Managers and Indians agents that are involved in Money Laundering taking commission fron temp Indians to get employed, therefore, all the job sectors are all Indians. these time, during Boxing day,only Indians are buying,because of good earning working 50/60 hrs. And Indians are robbing private houses,drungs and weapons arm dealers, fraud immigration,fraud license,car theft,all are Indians.

Unfortunately it is not true that a majority of the Indians are highly qualified. To be honest many of the Indian students here have poor communication skills and questionable qualifications. What is needed is a more careful selection process. I know of some Indians who are highly trained well educated and an asset to Canada especially in the health and tech fields. At the same time I see many who are not able to pass basic language tests let alone professional examinations.

Many times these Indians being that awful caste system with them, and create racism within their own people.

It is incumbent upon the Canadian government to screen out those applicants who received fake admission letters upon arrival or even before departing for Canada - at the Indian airport of departure. Clearly the priority of the Canadian government was to allow one and all in so as to benefit from the exorbitantly high tuition fees charged to international students - so scrutiny of offer letters took a back seat. The recent crack down on international students (after such a long time) especially in the wake of the impending elections makes Canadians highly skeptical. This is nothing but damage control by the Trudeau government now that they are faced with the prospect of a decimation at the general elections. They needed a scapegoat - what better than to blame international students....the outsider - sound familiar?

As an Indian, I am aware of the many scams people are involved in just to stay in Canada. One of my acquaintances went to Canada with their family on an Express Entry PR. They are working full-time for cash while also claiming unemployment benefits from the Canadian government. I wonder what action the Canadian government would take against such scams. I hope my comment reaches someone responsible.

Poor, one sided journalism. Canada often denies visas even to retired members of Indian security services but never denies visas to veterans of Western countries which have a mile long documented record of human right abuses in foreign countries in Asia and Africa. Canada gives visas to criminals and gangsters from India, even citizenship! Canada now wants India to give visas blindly to Canadian citizens without checking their antecedents, particularly relating to issues of attack against Indian sovereignty and terror links! India is not Canada and India considers visas to foreign citizens a priviledge extended, not an unfettered right. Actions have consequences and India, unlike Canada, takes terror related issues and foreign conspiracies working against integrity and sovereignity of the country very seriously indeed. Canada does not get White Man's Priviledge in India. That boat sailed a long time ago.
