Forget VISA rejection and monetary loss. In my case, great economic power USA just gulped the application fees paid for whole family intending to attend cousin's marriage in USA . All done under covid pretext. No issue there but they stonewall in best way any enquiry for interview date. Now they say apply again and pay fees again. 55k INR helped USA economy that is my contribution to most powerful and resourceful economic beggar inthe world.

Our own people are the reason why they have started rejecting visas. People come here in the name of education and then demand PR. Many come here with dodgy certificates for which some indian states are banned. Majority come here and dont assimilate but instead make their own country within a country even becoming citizens. Palki’s logical arguments are mostly spot on. However, I am surprised that she asks this question but doesn’t not answer with sound reasons so the people can learn and improve. The reasons for rejections may *possibly* be due to the number of Indians than have over stayed their tourist visas or due to illegal entry or international students that have not returned but rather stayed back illegally. Also possibly due to certain behaviours against women or cheating/corruption practices taken to the new country. Palki should do that research and then present based on evidence which she usually does a great job with.

Palki , you should also consider fake documents that’s submitted for obtaining visas. Over stays , age factors leading to medical expenses , bank balances for surviving those days in a foreign land. Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.
