As a Canadian I could not be any more proud of our PM

From a proud Canadian living in Spain for 25 years, I'm supporting you my fellow Canadians! I've stopped ordering products from the USA... I won't step foot there until this imbecil is kicked out of office by smart Americans. Trudeau you were even being nice when calling dumb orange man smart.

He makes me proud to be Canadian, and make no mistake, trump won’t win this war…it’s not just us, the EU just announced €800 billion in retaliatory tariffs. Mexico is also hitting back hard..the only winner of this trade war is the super wealthy, but that won’t last, when we all refuse to buy any of the products that benefit them. The best way to hurt the rich, is by turning them into poor people!

I am an American, but my Ancestors were French Canadians who immigrated to Montpelier, Vermont at the turn of the 20th century. Your support in wanting the best for both of our countries makes me so proud of my roots. Charlie Angus as well as Justin Trudeau have integrity and are willing and able to fight for what is right. Please know you are a highly respected nation by most of the people in this country. I have always been so proud of my country, but am now so embarrassed and deeply troubled. As a patriotic proud Canadian. This goes to show Canada what time it really is. It's time to develop our nuclear weapons systems. Proud Canadian here. I made this country home 50years ago with $100 in my pocket. Loved it and happily made my own family here. We stand with our leaders on this. I for one understands hardships so no brainer at all. ????

Putin broke the peace agreement with Ukraine and went to war for territory, Trump broke the Trade agreement with Canada that he negotiated to try and as he has said, break us economically to become the 51st state. So proud of our Prime Ministers speech,so proud to be a Canadian.

Ah yes, the trade war that Canada will surely lose. I love Canada. Wouldn't trade it for the world, but this is a losing battle by which citizens on both sides will feel the full effect. Trump appeasing Putin is a chess move, that the PM seems to be overlooking. The US can't afford to go to war with Russia, but at the same time, it needs resources within Russia's neighboring region. So the US will do what they always do, and had people listened to what Kissinger had to say, they'd be better prepared for this. Nonetheless, let's stand proud and strong, and come together as Canadians in order to get through this.

I'm Canadian. And in my 50s. We've always tended to joke back and forth about stereotypes from our countries. I've always felt we looked up to American ideals ideas and this is why we felt strong to stand with America with many things. I've sometimes not been happy with our Prime Minister but he left a mark, and I'm proud our country is more united but I'm sad at what cost. I hope this is short lived.. I don't like fighting with family

Prime Minister, please, I implore you, reconsider stepping down. I know it is a lot to ask, but just one more term? Canadians need you right now more than ever, not only Canadians but the World. This is just the beginning. I am not giving in, but this egomaniac will not stop. We need experienced, ethical leaders. You are the best , although our wonderful Jacinda came close (yes, I live in New Zealand), but am a Canadian through and through, this action from the States has me feeling the need to come back and roll up my sleeves to help fight with my Country.
