I see a lota comments saying this is one-sided. I cant speak for anyone else but this has been my experience as well... I've been to the Indian Embassy in Wellington, Nz multiple times to submit my applications passport renewal, police clearance etc and girls at the counter were unnecessarily rude & very unhelpful.. I've never received this sort of treatment from kiwis in Nz especially those sitting at customer service desks. I'd worked in Customer service for 7+ years and its very sad to see Indians (not all; some are good but very rare) are the worst and rudest to deal with. Because of this Indian generally have a very bad reputation in Nz; and by the looks of it, in Canada & Australia too..

I am leaving the big cities and moving to a smaller town for the rest of my life. Good riddance Calgary, you leave a lot to be desired these days. I have to spend all day tomorrow on the train, and I'm not looking forward to it for obvious reasons. Even though a smaller town will still have some issues, it won't be as bad, and I will never have to ride a public train in Canada again . Good luck.

Every day I get a call from an Indian scammer they are making the good look bad

The only good Indians that came here came in the 70's and 80's they worked hard assimilated while maintaining and sharing their culture and raised good children they were polite, kind and helpful, what we have now is a bunch of asshole who need to pack their shit and leave before it turns to Canadian violence. When it comes to jobs , housing and our children's futures its not a matter of skin colour ,religion, civic actions good or bad it becomes a simple matter that there are to many physical bodies in places we dont want them to be in. Our kids need jobs and housing these people coming here en mass had houses and Indian has schools too lol I see a different Indian face every time i order something online or at every counter i go to. its the quantity and the type of people so yeah anger is only gonna increase and everyone gets the blame equally except the old timers lol

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

Just go. You have no rights here. Close the border for good. Weed out the bad. Send temporary workers and non citizens back and start over and only bring in skilled and educated people for the positions we need filled. Tim Hortons and McDonalds don't count.

It is all about economy and business, The Government is collecting huge capital from sponsorship and visa applications and processing system, and Colleges, Universities are making lot of money from foreign students charging 4,5 x fees, also people they move to Canada ?? ? they sell their properties and bring all the money to this country to start the business, providing jobs and contributing in to building Canadian economy even more stronger, we can’t say anything bad to any community just because of some bad people. I have a lot of friends that are actual immigrants that do things the right way, and actually have respect for our country. Genuinely feels so bad for them right now being targeted because of these scamming assholes are making good people that actually immigrated here legitimately and/or were born and raised here look bad. I hope indians will reflect of what they're doing, like indian students, i see some of them don't pay on the bus, i had experienced when we were waiting in line in bus station, i see them cutting line, they were lucky because Canadians are polite, and just let it go, one time an indian male driver parks his car on where the bus pass through in bus station, in tim Hortons most of the time they give us the wrong order, and i always had a stomach Ache when i eat at tims, but i never had problems when i order from other coffee shops, only at tims, and in our neighborhood they throw their garbage on the side of train rails, and it was clean before the indian immigrants move in in our neighborhood? Canada is Ruined? but i know there are good indians out there who follow the rules, i hope their bad habits will stop its ruining the indian community

this is actually a really good summary of the situation. just like how India has their bad people who have caused problems we canadians also have similar people in who are just as troublesome if not worse such as the junkies on the streets who I see all the time here in Montreal and cause so much chaos. a big argument which I also feel like is that we should only allow the best of the best to immigrate to Canada. my mom was an immigrant and is an incredibly hard worker who is more than deserving of a Canadian citizenship and even my close friend who immigrated from India is just like that and is also 10x cleaner than anyone else I've ever lived with. the fact of the matter is that we need to bring back those high standards which we had in the past and crack down and send back those who abused the system and illegally entered the country. India is the largest population in the world, there are a lot of great people there that Canada would most definitely benefit from have but there are also a lot of crappy people as well, we just need to ensure that the ones who are coming here are of the latter and not the former

My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

I agree and appreciate your constructive approach to this issue. It would of been easy to play the race card the whole video. I can tell you that it goes both ways here with this issue. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. It is like a marriage where one has to always take into account your partner's point of view, making compromises along the way for both partners, not exploiting the other's weakness, or disrespecting their views.\nThe government caused this issue to come more to the forefront in recent years by ramping up immigration numbers and putting pressure on the system. I'm an international student in Canada and have been here for almost six months. Unfortunately, I've had a couple of negative experiences where I was taken advantage of by individuals who happened to be Indian. I understand that good and bad people can be found everywhere, but these experiences have made me more cautious when getting services from anyone in the future.

Why we focus on countries. This country is good this is bad why can't we focus on humanity. One day we all have to die so why not everyone come together and make everyone life happy so that everyone will die piecefull and happy. I know this is like next to impossible...

I have been living in canada for 3 years now and I Agree and Disagree on this video. Yeah, Canada has one of the largest natural resource but utilities bill is more than that of India. Yes, canada's population is half of Gujarat's population, but just check the rent in canada once. Many people here prefer living in an EV to avoid rent. Canada may be exporting fertilizers, but Canada has to import food and veggies from other countries and its damm expensive. Ab koi log bolenge, then go back to India.. I am not saying canada is bad. The only reason i am still here in canada is because of its work culture. Work culture in canada is wayyyyy more stress free than that of India's. And just dont get me started with the amount of crime and gun shots. Coz I have seen many news related to gun shots in metro and buses and people gets killed without any reason. And one of the worst things in canada is Drugs. Just last week, I took a walk down two blocks alone at 2 am. It literally scared a shit out of me bcuz of the druggies and homeless people. Even my canadian colleagues are fed-up of this drug abuse and crime. \n\nSo, canada may look all goodie good from outside, but reality is way diff than that.

Germany has good and bad sides. Racism, beauraucracy, are part of bad sides. After living as professional for more than 15 years. I am planning to leave by this year. They need skilled workers, but not so welcoming. Only a few are very much welcoming.

Yeah, changes are good and welcome but way too little too late. You're right it was not that bad then it was very safe and i used to shop for clothes at Army and Navy and walk around that area a lot. i did not feel unsafe at all of course there was drug addicts a few here and there but not like this magnitude right now, homeless totally invaded China now and it's unrecognizeable as it once was very sad indeed. It's bad that this situation has risen... But it's self inflicted by the Indian Students themselves... On the pretext of studies... They come to Canada and do all the odd jobs except studies especially the students who study in colleges (not University)... During the peak COVID times, the immigration allowed even a college students to bring in their partner (including those who are in conjugal relationships) which again bloated the influx substantially... Needless to say the immigration scamsters in India, Canada and throughout the globe took advantage of this going to the extent of faking the IELTS and few other documents... The Canadian Government has woken up and making a course correction, which is good for both Canada and all the countries to have a cleaner system based on credibility...

I have met a lot of Indians both good and bad. When you go to a store or somewhere you have this race of people who won't speak Canadian language, unless it's absolutely necessary. God forbid if you say to them they should speak English ior French in Canada, you are always called racist. When you hear of a murder of drug raid, it's almost always an Indian name. Hell, when you are cut off in traffic, well as you said in ithe beginning they look like you, not me. As I said at the first I have met and made friends with Indians, but it begins to piss you off, when there are so many. Our government has to stop the import of one race and if need be choose a little of all races, and prepare.
