The liberals will lose if they don’t do something with the international students I think that’s the number one source spot for everybody we want them gone. There is way too many. We don’t have the infrastructure and they’re taking jobs away from our own Canadians. Is there a way that they can be forced to work up north or somewhere, where work is needed not in the highly populated areas. Maybe they can be promised that they stay there for 10 years otherwise they’ll run back.

That’s excellent hopefully Canada will become Canadian again. As a Punjabi, I’m absolutely disgusted with these new international students. They came here on pretence most of them didn’t even pass the English test they cheated and scammed to get here. They’re not attending colleges and working full-time taking jobs away from Canadian born students, including my own son who applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing. They need to go back after studying what’s deplorable is their sense of entitlement now, I’m so embarrassed by them. I think if PR is granted they should be made to work and areas that require help not already overpopulated areas least 10 years

My name is Jamie, every time you go for a job at gas station they never hire no body else but Indians. I was born in this country and have never had this problem back in the 90s. Every time I go two a job agency that our owned buy indians people they always say we will call you if a job will come up and that happens two me every time I am so feed up of this bull shit my friend. I have been out of work for 5 years and still can't find a job because the imagrants our taking our jobs from the white populations. Every where you go like subway Tim Hortons Wallmart and many other stores our getting jobs over the white population. When is this madness going two stop? I am getting pissed off all the time. Thank you for sharing the truth on our immigration crisis and issues related to the foreign students. Government should not have allowed to bring spouses and their children to Canada while they are on foreign students visa. No other countries allowed this. This created a crisis in rental industry. They started draining our resources such as rental, school, healthcare…etc. no student should be allowed to work in any of the industries. They are taking away Canadian citizens jobs. In last 2 years I have spoken with many Canadian students and they are unable to find summer employment. This has to be stopped. Wake up Canadian politicians and government.

My story is similar to yours Alina, moved to Canada at 15 y.o., lived there for 20 yrs and now moved away. It's been hard, Canada has been the place I'd call home and thinking that I may never come back to live there is a little heart wrenching. Looking forward to learning what place you picked for yourself. From my experience, it will not be easy whatever place you pick. The social connections, daily life, it will all take a long time to set up. One thing that helps is keeping in touch with the most important people in your life - whereever they may be.

I am French (I consider myself very lucky as France is a very stable and prosperous economy) but many French also look for better opportunities abroad, namely in Switzerland (higher salary and better work packages but that influx created a xenophobia against French living in Swiss) and the US (tech jobs mainly, which are better paid than in France)!!! We ALL do it!!! Many white South African women also do everything to marry British, Germans, Canadians on purpose (the media never mentions that and we know why) so that they can escape the extreme environment in South Africa!!!! It is just that the media tends to focus on black and brown people as it sells better!!! Ohhh and did you forget those many North Americans who flock to Mexico, and South America to run away from the horrendous cost of living!!!! Same for those many Canadians (a common trend those last years) who start to flock into the US to run away from higher living costs in Canada and for higher paid jobs in the US!!!! Okay may be some lesser developed countries do it but let’s realize that WE Europeans also move and emigrate when things turn “grill our ar**s” where we live!!!! Ohhh and have we forgotten already those Italians who moved to France in 1900s to escape misery and hunger in Italy!!!! Ohhh …. we already forgot!!!! And what about the Ukrainians, many of whom come to Canada now and take jobs and reap benefits from the local? Some even “taking” others husbands and breaking locals’marriages (happened to a colleague of mine last year)!!! Ohh sorry, you guys are still very busy focusing on the ones that are …. They were brought here to help with the construction, healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture industries. Instead, most, if not all, entered the customer service and food industries. If you went to McDonald’s for a steak and fries, of course you’d be disappointed. We need help in building more houses and farm more produce… instead, they swarmed to take away more housing increasing the rent without building more and food from the food bank meant for Canadian families in dire need. A student visa is for Studying. Not for permanent residency. Not for citizenship. Not for brining one's family over. Not for working illegally. Student Visa = Study = Graduate = Return to your country to grow your own country. If one paid illegal brokers to get a visa for a job, that is not Canada's fault. If you falsified your Immigration papers to falsify you are coming to study and your family has sufficient funds it is not Canada's problem you have to repay illegal broker loans. Whomever is here past their visa period and working full time instead of continuing with their education, should be deported immediately. This is taking university seats from local Canadians and taking full time jobs away from Canadian legal citizens.

What about the outsourcing of the jobs to developing countries? Taking away jobs from local people and providing jobs to other countries. Even the government believes in outsourcing(tech) . People are jobless due this factor also which not many people are realizing.

We need to get rid of property management companies and have the provincial governments take over all housing. These slum property management companies are getting away with way too much. Jacking up rents, not maintaining the buildings, having people living in bedbug, cockroach and mouse infested apartments. It's awful out there.

Needs to be monitored immigration that supports everyone..so we all can have health care housing employment schools etc.\n\nPutting canada into a crisis..immigration needs to be monitored. Skill based..people whom want to work and contribute canada not take away.

Canadians cant afford food or shelter so how can we afford foreigners to take from us. Remember they are taking away from children and families that live here they have no options, foreigners have their own countries.

Another Indian trick is Flagpoling which is coming to Canada on a Visitor Visa, going to the US Border, getting turned away since their visitor visa does not allow entry to the USA, and then coming back to Canada, and applying for a Work Permit at the CDN Port of Entry, hard to believe but that is completely legal, and has led to Indians taking a lot of jobs from CDN citizens

I understand the sentiment people seem to share that international students and other temp workers are taking jobs away from citizens and permanent residents. However, teenagers here are so self entitled now and are unwilling to do the jobs at McDonalds and Tim's. The laziness and lack of competitiveness is killing this economy.

My colleague, who is a temperary worker from Japan, told us she was kind of forced to watch some religious videos while she was working, and this guy kept telling her that he is kind of a big person who has the authority to issue Canadian visa to foreigners to come to Canada. He told her to contact him in the future when she needs visa to Canada. My collegue said he seems from India or related country.Not 100% from India. She just said he seems like. --- I would not believe that Canada has a immigration problem if i have never heard what happened to my colleague. There is so much problems in Canada, like young people facing serious drug issues, homeless issues, etc. Canada needs to deal with these issues. It also takes away from from Canadians getting into Canadian colleges and universities as the international students get charged higher tuition fees. More money for the universities. Canadian students end up going over seas. I have a few friends whose kids tried getting into medical school here but were refused. They ended up in Australia, in medical school and are living there now as doctors. We could have used them here.

Please Canada.. prioritize your CITIZENS first. We are losing our positions and rights because ALL companies are favoring temporary workers to avoid giving rights ( ie. OT pays) to regular employees. What’s baffling to me is the United Nations development program hired my dad to train local people in turkey and Bahrain for welding. To stop foreign workers from coming into their countries and taking jobs away from local people. I wonder if the United Nations should hired my dad in Canada to train Canadians so that foreign workers can’t come in a take jobs away from Canadians. I guess our governments aren’t smart enough to contact the United Nations For help in resolving that problem.

Good! Let them study in their own ciuntry. They do have goid schoold in their country. The government is jyst doing whats goid for their own citizens. They shouldnt have to compete with immigrants for job opportunities un their own country. Every country should prioritize and give oportunities to their own citizens. These will prevent massive migration from other countries and pushed yheir country of origin to create a better working environment for its people, strive for innovative technologies and industries where their own citizens can work. These wil also forced these migrants to work within the framework of their own countries politic, policies and human issues.
