When you look at the trends in Canada since Trudeau and his liberals took power in 2015, they're mostly negative, economically, socially, diplomatically, etc. He and the policies his government enacted have damaged Canada and its reputation. He needs to go.

Aight so I went to Calgary in Canada last year for a vacation. I took about 20-30 ubers in total during my trip to Calgary. Out of those 20-30 Uber trips, ATLEAST 17-20 of the drivers were Indian. And ATLEAST 15 of them drove like actual maniacs. One of the drivers literally ran a total of 10 STOP SIGNS in the span of 1 hour, and almost ran over an entire family walking over a crosswalk.. I'm not gonna state the obvious but this doesnt seem right at all.. Maybe I'm just stupid idk.

Few centuries ago the Anglo Saxons took over Canada from the Indians. About time to give Canada back to the Indians. No complaints here.

The real problem is that Indians don't assimilate very well. In Fiji Indians were first brought in 1879. After more than a century they finally took over the government. This has led to 4 coup de tat. I personally wonder if Pierre Trudeau implemented a plan of social engineering in order to destabilize English speaking Canada. A very real problem is legislation that has favoured minority groups. The 1984 Multiculturalism Act has stifled debate on the subject and the Employment Equities Act of 1986 has allowed minority hiring quotas to discriminate against the majority. Just remember that it was Canadians that voted for this.

Canadians are themselves immigrants in these lands. Europeans came in 18th century, took the lands from the natives and two hundred years after, they say, hey, immigrants from India have flooded “our” country, this is not Canada any more. Canada just like the US is a country of constant immigration and when immigrants from other countries arrive you should adapt to each other’s cultures and customs.

If you live in Canada you should at least speak the language of the country that took you in yah.

I visited Toronto and took pictures of the city. In my pictures, there was no white Canadian and mostly south Asians. I live in Australia and we have Indians here too. To be honest I don’t mind them. But Canada is another level. Where are the Anglo Canadians?

Easy fix. CHOOSE where you spend money. Choose who you work for and supply support for. Choose Canadian business that have ties to Canada not another country, make sure the income from businesses and personal gains stay in Canada. Canadian $$$ needs to stay here, not support another Country. I know a gentleman that can't figure out why I laugh at him and don't support a thing he does. Canada is becoming like India now, since Liberal took over, influx of low quality students started coming to Canada. Why you are spreading hate for students. When you should criticize the Canadian government and colleges. Why the government accepted so many visas at first place. Without student visa Indian students cannot come to Canada. But the government only cared about the money. They took the taxes and fees from students and now all hate is going towards students. I hope nobody treats me this badly when I screw up in a new job. A very sad event took place, but this is just a vindictive response. Nobody can bring those kids back, but this overkill response is just because they were boys who played hockey. If it was a bunch of female figure skaters, there would have been nothing like this response. Canada needs to stop worshipping at the altar of the hockey God's. Driving jobs are all the same. They have impossible schedules to keep, that can only be met by speeding, and they hire drivers new to the country who are not used to winter driving.

What I do understand is that he took responsibility for what happened. He did not try to get away with it. It is not like he is some criminal gang member joy-riding around. He should be allowed to stay in Canada; he has owned his role in the accident. It was an accident, and it was not intentional.

The goverment of Canada should control immigrant. Brampton have lots of Indian and the problem is this when I got my Canadiane citizenship people who took their oath were wearing their national costume. I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.

Hi True North, I'm from India not in Canada ?. if they were promised to give PGWP after course completion and they received that and now they are asking for further extension then yes send them back. But if the PGWP was not even granted to them in the first place then it's a scam, the Canadian government has to give what was promised. They contributed to your economy in dollars (which is not easy if someone is coming from India) they deserve to earn in dollars as well. Also, some students took loans as well . However, I understand Canadian citizens' frustration too but it was the Canadian government's mistake when they invited immigrants just for the sake of money.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

After 911 I went to the CAF recruiting Center in Mississauga. I was born in Canada in 71, but went to university at The Ohio state university from 91 to 95. Since in lived outside Canada within 10 years for more than a year I needed to wait for DHS in the US to do a background security check on me…a Canadian. I retired from CAF in 2017, after 12 years of service….do the math on when, and therefore, how long, it took me to join. Go Canada. Now we recruit non citizens to out CAF? Why have most of us left CAF? Why can’t I recommend that anyone join?

Starting in 2001 it took me 5 years and a long series of bureaucratic hoops to jump through to get Canadian citizenship. I’m originally from the UK and had a PhD in neuroscience and was doing post-doctoral research. I’ve since had a long teaching career in colleges and am proud to have given something back to my adopted country. It now seems that Canada allows almost anyone entrance, with little rational objective or consideration for the Canadian workforce or culture.

I came in the 80s to canada as a landed immigrant which is equivalent to a PR now. Life was much easier for newcomers then to start. Jobs were readily available and with a good command of the English language and a broader mind to accept other cultures and people i felt the adaptation was good. As for the struggles i had lots of patience and didn't mind doing my own chores. Cook clean at home and work in a 9 to 5 office job. I even volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to young children. I also kept my hobby as an artist. It depends on ones courage and patience and ability to adapt in a foreign country. Canada was the best decision i took for me and my family especially my children who graduated here.yes now i am retired over 60 and yes i do spend time abroad including india while it snows here? after covid and the ongoing wars and the recession around the world life is not the same in any part of the world. You have to make the best decision for your particular situation you are in. I never regretted coming to Canada ??.

No worries Canadians, they are fleeing Canada with Canadian money and, have their own businesses or landowners in INDIA. A cab driver informed me they will be leaving and he owns land and businesses in India off of CANADIAN MONEY while driving a CAB in Canada. He said he and others are leaving because Canada is too expensive to live and because of the high cost they are unable to send money to INDIA, so they are leaving us. They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. FYI they are not the only country who stole Canadian jobs and sent money to their 3rd world countries and will return back home to live in MANSIONS. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee. The prime Minister did a lot of mistake about the immigration system first He must to have a quotas numbers of immigrants in each province , students , temporary workers and refugees with a small pourcentage .But He tooks everyone he didn t think about the housing problem and the job market after the pandemic .Now they are huge consequence the cities are crowded , rent are expensive , crime and proverty is rising , people are struggling with cost living .People quite Canada because is not the eldorado they think .The problematic with certain refugees like soudanese and somalians create some problemin a country with crime .I don t said is all of them but they are unfortunately .

Ask yourself: what role does the government play in prices that are too high? Does the city of Toronto own the buildings or set the prices? Who does? If the government came in tomorrow with the military and took ownership of all of the buildings and single family dwellings in order to lower their prices and repurpose the land more efficiently for denser urban housing at lower prices, how would you respond to that? Or should the government spend all of the money they are making to buy up properties at market value and then rebuild for more efficient, cheaper and denser housing? What would your response be to that? Immigrants: there are too many. Is it that simple? What would the population of Canada look like in 20 years with just the birth rate of non-recent Canadian citizens (ie no immigrants from the past 15-20 years)? That there is a problem is obvious. Playing on the feelings of group A or group B, showing them the things they fear and presenting it as something everyone does not already know while deliberately ignoring other vital parts of the problem is predatory at best. Your feelings, opinions and gut will solve nothing. Blinding yourself to entire parts of broken systems will solve nothing. Videos and channels like this seek only the engagement that the algorithm demands. It will only deepen the mistrust between citizens and their fellow citizens and citizens and the government, that is, their fellow citizens that have been elected to be said government (not some invading outside force beyond all control) and increase the polarization of groups in an already strained society. It will solve nothing.

I emigrated to Canada from the UK in 1982 the legal way & the whole process took about 3 years! The government wanted to know everything about my parents, how much assets they had, what kind of job & education they had etc etc. We didn't just show up & expect to be taken in! So I don't like what is happening one bit!

My father immigrated to France in the 70 ‘s where the government was ready with complexes built for them so l grow up in a large apt. For 6 comfortably. Here 2024 in Canada there is not that much the government is doing for the immigrants or students.\nyears ago l heard from a friend someone running 18 Airbnbs . I left Canada its was too expensive I couldn't afford anything was working 2 jobs and the rent took most of the money. I think Canada needs to tackle housing crisis.

Canada is awesome, of course it's not perfect, but it's a fabulous place to live (if you can find affordable housing)! Our healthcare is phenomenal and maybe even too good. Medicine is intervening where it shouldn't and probably extending lives that shouldn't be extended. We have an aging population because our birth rate is low. But people need to take responsibility for their health. Most of the inflammatory diseases we all suffer from are preventable and our clinics are congested with people with very minor ailments who likely wouldn't be there if they were paying out of pocket for the visit. Gay marriage is legal, we eliminated the penny, we finally banned single use plastics, we don't throw money at space exploration or on our military, one year maternity leave, the Canadian Pension, the old age pension- so many government programs, everyone has access to free healthcare and it took a little too long, but we have MAID, we'll help you die if you're sick so you don't need to suffer. And where I live, we legislated out daylight saving time back in the 70's cuz it's stupid.

It took me twenty years to get my divorce in Canada. I lost my children, due to weed, before legalization. I had to pay fifty bucks an hour to see my daughters, for years!

Canada Healthcare is so bad compared to America, in Canada it takes forever to get an appointment, to be referred to a specialist and then to be scheduled for an operation--But here in the US, I went to a clinic for upper right pains, I got a doctor's appt the very next day, a surgeon, and he took my gallbladder out in less than a week, incredible--This is in Florida
