after the elections and due to the massive hate on foreigners I am planning to leave as well. In plus: healthcare system has deteriorated. I wont be here when AfD wins. I dont want to work in a country where such people were brought to power by their people.

The previous government always whined about what couldn't be done... well, anyone without legal entry documentation and due process is ILLEGAL and gets sent back home.

I used to love to go to NYC for Christmas. However, the last time i went Manhattan was not like it used to be. There are loads of ppl smoking weed, the train, which i used to like to ride, has lots of homeless and drunk ppl and was dirty. This reminded me when i used to go to the city as a boy in the 80s and 90s but was changed due to Gulliani and others. Last Christmas I continued my tradition to go to NY but i stayed in Buffalo. It is actually nice there and i saw loads of snow.

We lived n long term emergency housing ( @ the Super 8) in Clinton County NY minutes from the Canadian border- watching illegal migrants get into vans in groups- They come thru the woods. Only slows due to snow… bodies r found then. Where’s our luxury hotel? We got oatmeal.

Canadian here—it’s unfortunate to hear that many people are still crossing over from our country. While efforts to crack down have begun, they clearly aren’t enough. A major issue is individuals from India fraudulently obtaining student visas, with many failing to attend school, violating their visa terms. Others are simply ineligible for permanent residency and these people are likely fleeing due to increased enforcement by our own immigration officers and fear of deportation.

These students can't complain about the student fee, Housing , food and living cost .\n\nU can blame trudue for lowering the standards for student visa. \n\nTo my knowledge from friends i know as students durring high-school vs students coming to study at college. \n\nPrior to this issue these a few mandatory requirements \n\n- parents most make over 200 k usd , and assets .\n\n- you must have xxx amount in usd dollars equivalent in your bank account and open a HSBC bank account with xxx amount \n\n - u must show you can afford for your child to stay at a mandatory homestay , all the associated cost staying and studying in canada for min 3 years \n\nJust passing the first 3 requirements, most ppl get rejected. \n\n- most leave the home stay due to culture differences and end up renting a 1 bed room condo. \nThat alone back in harper days was 20 k a year.\n\nMind you these students i met are from Vietnam, a 3rd world country where a university graduate with 2 degree will make only $500 usd which is consider a very good job . Its equivalent to5 k / month . \n\nSo thier dollar isn't worth much , for their parents to have that much money to send a 15 year old to study hs in a foreign country is a luxury only a selected few can dream of\n\nAlso none of them worked and work permit wasn't allowed. Even they were allow why would u when ur parents give u their debit card ~ visa card with allowance of 2- 3k to spend .\n\nInwould say 25% of these rich students go home within a year as they get home sick.\n\nToday standards\n\n- not many come as high school students as it's alot harder and still up hold strict standards as their still a minor. \n\n- college is easier route\nOnly have to prove u can afford the 1st. How many people are willing to give up their passports to live in some Asian country for example, in the Middle East for example. Not many people for sure. Every student who comes to USA for M.S. graduate studenfrom India pay only 1semister fee to colleges but they apply for 2 year tuition in Indian banks \n\nWhat is happening is colleges collect 1 semester fee and after 1st semester.\n\n students work part time at restaurants, gas stations, Motels grocery stoes. Mostly at non chain stores. \n\nLegally they are suppose to work on campus but they work off campus and earn and then pay for college. And some send to India they their friends illegally.\n\nThey travel up to 50 miles around to work. \n\nThese students work for cash and work for $7 to $8 per hour or even less.\n\nStore proprietors / owners tell these students if anyone comes for raid they will tell that they are working on voluntary basis and taking salary. So like this millions of students work illegally.\n\nAfter student comes out of college during OPT and stem OPTA they continue to work and approach consulting companies to generate payroll / trainee for no r a son just to give them status. \n\nDuring OPT these employers collect money to pay taxes and generate payroll and keep them to put them to work and maintain their status.\n\nThis does not stop here.\nH1-B workers who come from India on lottery 80% do not have clent jobs but they use back door and show that they have jobs and continue to pay taxes to show on paper that they are still working with a hope that they get jobs in future. And do part time work at restaurants, grocery store etc..\n\nStudents also stay in apartments in groups of 5 to 6 in 2 bed room unit and share and save money actual apartment lease is on only 2 people remaining people stay illegal.\n\nLandlord cooperation is there. \n\nthis situation is causing so much trouble to American citizens. There's difference between US and India immigration laws. In India opposition party states provide them with legal documents and make them their vote bank. And since Bangladeshis dont look much different from local population they blend in easily. \n\nIndians, latinos, and other non white people dont blend in plus in US they dont get such support from opposition parties like Bangladeshi get here.\n\nWe only have Bangladeshi immigrants only and it was due to open border for 40 years with Bangladesh under Congress. Its under Modi fencing of borders started and around 5lakhs are deported in 10 years. What I don’t get is America isn’t against immigrants coming to America (the legal way) but people want to protest coming here illegally and are upset people are getting deported because they didn’t come the legal way. I work with a ton of guys that came to America the legal way and are all for deporting the illegals back to where they came from. The legal immigrants work hard and pay taxes and illegals don’t pay taxes they get benefits and haven’t paid their dues like the legal immigrants had to do to get in. Taking care of illegals takes away from Americans getting the help they need and we have to pay taxes. They protest and wave the Mexico flag holding signs saying “Immigrants built America” and $hit on the things America has done for them. If they built America and are so proud to be from Mexico then why don’t you build Mexico up like you say you did in America. If it’s so great why are you coming to America illegally and running from your country.
