So he made 10 million dollars by bilking people but in the end only paid a 950 000 dollar fine and was supposed to spend 7 years in jail, but after 2 years was released? Canada is a joke, our entire system was built with loads of loop holes in almost everything. and when someone is caught the courts just give the person a slap on the wrist. Just look at the migrant truck driver who killed 16 ppl in Saskatchewan! He killed so many and he is blaming Canada and only getting barely 3 yrs sentence and on good behavior much less than that.

How are the people who tried to cheat the immigration process the victims? They are people who broke the law. Yes, it is hard to become a citizen but people are doing it every day without cheating the system or breaking the law. They are all guilty of criminal activity. Dude makes $10 million dollars illegally and is only fined $900,000 (9 percent of his proceeds of crime) then is sentenced to 7 years in jail and serves only 2. Somebody passes a bogus $300 bank cheque and gets more time than that. It's nice to see that something was actually done but this guy should have been deported with all his assets seized. If he did this in China he would be spending the rest of his life in a prison labour camp.

But you won't hear these truths in any newspaper. They are all liberal rags that print what the left wants you to hear. Justin Trudeau tells the American press that Donald Trump is against illegal immigration and that he and Canada are welcoming to those in need. Now we hear the truth. He has slapped tariffs on America acting like he does so to pay back Trumps new tariffs, not mentioning that Canada has been unfairly selecting the US to bare unfair trade with Canada.

As a young child I remember viewing the Amish women as being in a chronic 'state of funeral' based solely on their signature dark garb.
