Canada is very lucky to have true leader in PM Trudeau …I’m embarrassed by how Trump is acting. Canada please forgive us as this is not the American way.

I am completely outraged. I am disgusted beyond comprehension with the gutless Republican party for not standing up to trump. Canada has traditionally been our steadfast Ally and closest Trading partner. Trump is a walking, talking, dumpster fire, and must be removed from office as soon as humanly possible. How this profoundly disturbed, mentally ill excuse for a human being ever got elected to the highest office in the land is utterly beyond me. This is where MAGA ignorance, gullibility, and abysmal stupidity has gotten us. The rest of us here in the United States are just horrified by the destructive chaos Trump is unleashing on this country and the rest of the world. Our profound apologies to Canada

I hope Canada realizes tens of millions of us don't want this either. Don't call it the American tariff. Call it trump's tariff. That is what it is.

Trump is doing the same thing to Australia. The US has a trade surplus with us so tariffs make even less sense. Americans are turning on their close allies and siding with Russia. Insane.

Dear Justin, 75 million Americans voted against Donald Trump in the recent election. We appreciate your speaking directly to us today and in recent speeches you have given. We know what a good ally you have been to the US and we also know your primary concern is to Canadian citizens. While many of us have done what we could do and we also know the current trade arrangement was negotiated with you by Donald Trump in his previous term which leaves many of us scratching our heads. For my part it deeply saddens me that this has happened and all we ask or all that I ask is that you remember those of us who did not vote for this. Slightly less than half of the country. When this is over, and it will end one day we look forward to breaking bread with Canada again.

Why don't people know that Canada already has tariffs placed on our goods long before Trump....look it up... their tariffs are and were much higher....to the point were they benefited much more than the US did

Trump thinks he can control the world and extort money to line his pockets...Trump is revegeful, boastful and even the late QE knows that is also a balatant thief ...there is absolutely nothing good about him ....anybody else who is found guilty in the US are subjected to a prison sentence but Trump will corrupt the even the justice system so that he can wilfully commit more crimes and not be sentence to prison but can go on freely to commit more criminal acts. The American people who dont want more sufferings should strip him of the title president and kick the him out of the White House soon.

If we are going to be an authoritarian, antidemocratic, fascist dictatorship, we have to shed our old friends who would get all judgy about the the human rights abuses. So, step one, destroy relationships with friends. I am never a fan of our Prime Minister but today, he got my full respect and admiration. We all know it is not about Fentanyl or illegal immigrants crossing from Canada as little as they were. I think it is time to use all the unused land to grow our vegetation and any thing else that gets planted to use for the Canadian. We do have the brain and the finances to grow our own fruit even if it takes a couple of years for the plants to produce the vegetation to supply the need. We need to manufacture our own goods. It is only one simple issue we will face but it is one we can handle! Oil, gas, car parts and cars...do it here and get some of the unemployed individuals Living on Provincial Checks off their butts and put them to work.
