I used to work for a Canadian guy. He was a wealthy, successful man and had very few good things to say about the current state of things, and he was a success story. He's got 3 well educated, entrepreneurial sons and they're all going to the US.

The existing system seems to prioritize selling seats to international students, often at the expense of deserving local candidates, based on financial contributions. Moreover, dishonest practices, such as buying grades through online schools or bribing high school teachers, corrode the very integrity of our education system.\n\nAmidst these challenges, the lack of guidance from school counselors leaves Canadian students uninformed about strategic academic planning. Proactive counseling becomes crucial to enlighten students on the importance of enrolling in Grade 11 courses during Grade 10 and Grade 12 courses during Grade 11. This strategic approach empowers students to make informed decisions, strategically dropping courses for a better chance of success, aligning with the tactics employed by foreign students vying for available seats.\n\nThe current state of our education system is untenable, necessitating essential reforms. Every Canadian citizen student deserves the right to pursue higher education, liberated from the influence of financial gains for institutions. It is crucial to address these issues, highlighting the immorality and wrongness of pressuring kids to achieve a 98% for their future. Some achieving perfect scores may resort to dishonest means, taking cognitive-enhancing drugs, or being denied the opportunity to experience a normal childhood. This underscores the urgent need for a fair and accessible educational landscape prioritizing the well-being and ethical development of all citizens.

I am Chinese ethnic was born in Höng Kong but moved to Singapore in 1984. \nAt that time I could have migrated to Canada or Australia. I am an electrical engineer with a master’s degree and have worked in the States for some time before moving to Singapore. I could have settled in the States as well if I really wanted to. But having studied and worked in the States for some time, I realised it’s not my place. Culture difference, racial discrimination, political ideology to name just a few. So I moved to Singapore which had a job for me. I have no regrets. The country has a very efficient government, housing, medical, education needs are pretty well taken care of, not perfect but good compared to many developed countries. Crime rate is among the lowest. I believe If you have the talents you can try to apply for immigration here. Also Höng Kong which has a similar standard of living is also offering good opportunities to world talents to settle over there.

Canada has outran the USA in the proliferation of the thought, that the State, not the individual is responsible for one’s well being. I think there’s still hope for the west, but things will have to descend much further into darkness before people change the behaviors causing the problems.

I’d have to say I don’t live in Canada and I visited Canada twice for short periods of time\n\nWhat I do notice about Canada is that there isn’t enough employment for Canadians and many of them have to come or choose to come to the United States\n\nIn your case, you were a light skin, European appearing woman, and in Asia, especially Tokyo, you is very popular in the entertainment industry and people are willing to employ you for that look \n\nGetting back to Canada a lot of Canadian actresses And actors wind up, going to the United States for work specially Los Angeles, and doing quite well or Las Vegas, and other entertainment centers in the US because there is opportunity there where there isn’t any Canada\n\nI hate to say this to other Canadians but is backwater when it comes to economic activity it’s had some bright spots at certain times in the last 20 years, but it doesn’t last

I lived in Western Europe, Japan and at the moment, Canada. I lucked out getting a well paying job in Vancouver when I moved back a few years ago and my average tax rate is actually the exact percentage you stated in the video - 28%, which includes income tax, pension and employment insurance. I'm actually doing better in terms of quality of life now but I do miss being able to travel around Europe for cheap. (e.g., quick train ride to Paris for the weekend) Now, I take cheap flights (e.g. Flair Airlines) to Mexico instead.\n\nJust to state some data points: when I was in Europe, I paid a total average of 39% income tax on a lower salary than I have right now in Canada. Things like utilities (e.g., gas/electricity), restaurants, certain grocery items and electronics (e.g., iphone/PS5/computers) were significantly more expensive because European VAT (inclusive) is usually 20%+. \n\nI don't have the exact numbers but on average I believe I was paying 70 - 90€ ($100 - 130 CAD) just for electricity each month for a small flat, but I am now paying $30 - 50 CAD for a decent sized 1 bedroom. I believe my housing gas bill was about the same or possibly a bit more. In addition, automobile gas prices were much higher (about $2€/L on average which is $2.90 CAD/L) and I think they could go even higher right now. \n\nHowever, rent is definitely more expensive in Vancouver, but I believe that is true for many West coast cities in North America. Right now I'm paying $2300 CAD a month for a 1BR, and I split that amount with my partner. In comparison, it would have been about €1300 ($1900 CAD) for something similar in the city where I was living previously. In a more expensive city (e.g. Amsterdam) a 1BR would easily cost €1800+ ($2650 CAD).\n\nFor me, the difficulty of making friends in my late 20's stays about the same. I think it is difficult to make new friends after graduating from school, and you have to put yourself out there by joining groups and events. (e.g. Meetup or volunteering?)

I agree wholeheartedly with you about what is happening in Canada and the state it is in and the deteriorating trajectory of where it is going. My husband and I have had this conversation as well and yet we stay for family that is here. Blessings to you and your girls on your new journey.

Canada is NOT an Islamic state and westerners shouldn't be forced to live in an Islamic state. If you want to live in a government/state that is surrounded by Islam 24/7 and have Islam visible in every aspect of your life...GO LIVE IN AN ISLAMIC STATE. A lot of immigrants use Canada as a jumping-off point to get into the States. They know Canada is a trash country but they're willing to suffer in the meantime. I know many immigrants who have came to Canada and are very educated, lots of experienced in their field, couldn't find the job. But they all move to the states and are getting paid very well. Going to the USA is prosperity land not Canada. That is a fact!

Leaving the west is needed because it's so dangerous of BIPOCs. Europe, Canada, United States are just unsafe. The only safe bet is to move to a place with a future, like China or even Russia. There you will be safe and prosper. Everyone lives well in China.

As a born and raised Canadian I made the decision to flee my homeland of 42 years the moment that the current regime came to power in 2015. I ended a highly successful, well-paid 20+ year career, sold everything I owned and was gone within six months. I am not a religious person, so that did not factor into my decision, though I knew what was coming since I had lived for years as a member of a minority that was constantly demonized by former Liberal rulers for decades.\n\nI completely understand your reasons for leaving and wish you all the best. I am a South African and today more than ever, I can say I am a proud South African. \nIt is not always all sunshine and roses. ? Well, actually it is sunshine. At least 300 days of the year.\nI don't live in an Islamic state but in my country we make provision for all religions and cultures. \n1.7% of the population is made up of people of islamic religion. That is more than 1million muslims living here. 78% are Christians. We have Mosques, halaal food in nearly every city and Islamic schools in certain areas where there is a higher populations of muslims.\n\nFor the muslims who prefer to attend a normal school, provision is made for islamic cultural and religious events within these schools.\n We hear the Athaan 5 times a day. In fact we hear it so often that we dont hear it anymore. It has become part of who we are as a nation. We hear the church bells ring. This reminds us of who we are. I live opposite a Jewish cemetery that has a synagogue. With religious events we cant get out of our drive ways because of the congestion if traffic due to this. Inflation has hit worldwide. Prices surged after COVID with no signs of going down and now we are at a point that we've been anchored to these prices. Sometimes I dissuade myself from the occasional treat. I thought Popeye's was halal in Canada. While I now live in a state with 100,000+ Muslim population, I wish there were a lot more halal eatery options. This is a stark contrast from where I was living in Long Island, New York, where there were close to 30 halal eateries in a 3-mile radius. New York City has now permitted the azaan to be broadcasted over loudspeaker for every week jumu'ah and during Ramazan every maghrib as well. Even with all the halal options and large Muslim neighborhoods, NYC has its own challenges. A designated shoes-off place of worship for all faiths in establishments would be nice, be it malls, superstores, or airports.

Yes I have thought about moving out of of Czechoslovakia before as well as later after separation in two states from Czech Republic. I do think about that now too from similar reasons like you intend to move out from Canada. I have reverted to Islam in August 2022 but practicing Islam and wear ?is difficult here. However, the quality is rather inferior to HKG or even in Maindland China. The Dentistry is not free, by the way. and other specialist, such as Protates (Yes, for aged man like me ), the quality (cure results) are really 2 levels down. To my disappoiment. \n\nThe Taxes and service charge make up the bill almost 30% extrate, while in in NY State, it could be half of it. \n\nTThe Canada now is NOT a country, it is another state of America, Canada has been administrated as a genocide government but it keeps barking on the world about others but seldom think about herself of all the wrong doings. Totally agree with you. I’m a Muslim as well and I don’t live in a western society, I’m living in my country that is conservative and there is none of these woke agendas and liberalism being forced on us, but I do have relatives who live in the US and Canada and they are thinking about coming back for the same reasons you mentioned. They don’t want their children to be victims of these agendas that are being forced on them to accept in schools right now, they are noticing how society over there is failing, Islamophobia and hate crimes against Muslims is rising, and they don’t want to live in a country that sends billions of dollars to support an apartheid occupying state to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, they just don’t want their tax money to be sent to war criminals. May Allah make it easy for you and hopefully you’ll find a perfect place and a perfect Muslim environment so that you can raise your children. I do suggest you to go live in one of these Gulf states especially Saudi Arabia where healthcare is free, education is free, zero taxes, zero crime rates, and most importantly, you can practice your deen freely and you don’t have to worry about your children.

If i may suggest you to go check my country Indonesia or my neighbor Malaysia. You can hear calling for pray 5x a day, mosques are everywhere, halal food also everywhere. A lot of choice of education for your children, generally or Islamic ones. And most important thing is the people and government against genocide. We don't have any diplomatic relationship and never acknowledge the state of IsNotReal. Also 1 more thing, living cost here is relatively low compare to Canada or any other countries. I respect your decision to leave Canada. You have to do what is right for you and your family. I am not religious but I believe that all peoe have the right to believe as they choose. I also find that Islam is one of the most peaceful, loving religions there is. I too am very unhappy with my government for standing by and supporting the genocide of Palastine. I support President Biden and he has done many wonderful things but the support Israel by my government and president makes me infuriated. It is wrong. My now 19 year old son,my mother who lives with us and myself are looking to move as well. We want some place with winter so we can sky, and snowboard and do all things we love without having to travel two states over. The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... This is not a religious issue, but a political one. 20% of Palestinians are Christians. Neighbouring nations want a ceasefire, but they cannot afford to take in any more refugees, because they bring a political risk. Unfortunately, from a state perspective, this is more than just about taking in people. They do not want a large population of men who are of military age within their borders. Canadian here. Canada is a pointless sh!thole. You might as well move anywhere else, like 31% of new immigrants do. Rampant street crime, businesses are little more than fronts for organized crime, homelessness is on the rise, food, clothing, shelter and fuel are unaffordable, your average citizen pretends it’s not happening, unions are corrupt as hell, as are universities and the government. My parents came from India to the US and eventually became professors at the University of Arizona in Tucson where the cost of living was relatively low. Being an only child made our living standard that much better. Had we lived in a city like New York or San Francisco, the cost of living would have been much higher and possibly we would not have lived as well. But then there are many places in the US where the cost of living is even less than where we lived in Arizona!
