Can you blame them. The previous administration offered a premium benefits package to any and everyone who wanted it. It was a literal freeforall. Now that a non globalist, non(I'm just going to say it)ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT administration is handling the border of the US, these people are stunned. They are pissed off that the free ride is over. Chances are, President Trump would love nothing more than to do business with the countries sending these people. He would love to make deals that would strengthen their economy, give people a reason to live there. Maybe these leaders should bring something to the table other than droves of their own citizens complaining about how bad the situation has become in their home countries. We've already got enough of those here as it is. Sorry.

You know I think this is okay. We will stop the brain drain that we have. Indians are innovators, and silicon valley would not be what it is without Indians. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. At present he is the catalyst for many things and the most worried are the politicians and a lot of their lucrative deals they have made, in most cases not to the benefit of the country! In fact, it does America a favor, so if it becomes cheaper to make it at home, guess what? That's what they'll do, create investment, employment, greater wealth etc! And like most media outlets, they like to mix facts up, its not drugs from the north thats the problem. What Trump is implying is that Canada is aiding and abetting illegal immigration to another sovereign country via government policies! Plus the Trump administration is transporting illegals back to their country of origin rather than to the last country that harbored them! And the common theme is, the people suffer for what?

Maybe I shouldn't like this but I do. Firstly, Canada has the luxury of not really needing to protect itself, they get to spend 3% what the US does on their military so they can focus on other things, like letting immigrants into the Country to price out the native Canadians and jailing people for misusing pronouns. Also, I want to see the US become slightly more isolationist, I'll happily pay more for US products. A tariff is paid buy the businesses who attempt to pass that cost down to the consumer. We need tariffs high enough that making things in the US makes more sense to these businesses.

Canada has been, and continues to be, their closest friends and trading partners. If this is what the Americans voted for, then we will not back down. Your number one concern as a member of the untied states armed forces is the safety of American lands and its citizens. We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. Our life is ultimately our life, and so long as we are not harming others in the process we must create a life of our own meaning, determining our own objects of importance and committing to their pursuance. Throughout our life we are faced with serious decisions about what we believe, who we are, and what we do, and mostly none of it is self evident. If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.

That was an excellent news report and puts some light on the real situation . I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it . There is in fact no actual housing shortage in the USA whatsoever. The problem is that that wealthy individuals have strong incentives to park excess capital in real estate and landlords have strong incentives to maintain asset values through cash flow potential (appraised through $/sq.ft rent revenues). What ends up happening in both cases is that you end up with lots of empty houses sitting collecting dust artificially gaining value due to scarcity, and with rentals, you end up with perpetually inflated rents and vacancy rates that are as high as a landlord can tolerate just to maintain the appearance of value to the lenders. Often these owners will borrow more money and use an apartment that might be 40% vacant as the collateral for the lender and go buy another building and so on. What people don't penalize is the fact that that 40% vacant building with 60% rented out at above fair value gets treated on the balance sheet to the bank as if its 90% rented out from an asset value perspective thereby setting the asset price artificially high. Simple legislation of the tax code can fix this issue and unlock lots of sidelined housing. All we have to do is progressively tax 2nd 3rd 4th ect. homes higher and higher rates that essentially cancel out the asset gains, and do something similar for vacant units in a apartment building. \nIts just at the core a case of the rich hoarding something that has been made artificially rare. On top of all of this, because of how valuable properties have become, there are now many interests that capitalize on the entire process of building new housing that make it ever more expensive. Our taxes are funding numerous regulators that stymie new development, while the developers have to then hire numerous attorneys and planners to pitch a project and litigate it through the cities to get approvals. This can take over 10 years in a major city. All this contributes to the ridiculous costs of building these days.

The question is has he medically transitioned? Is he taking hormones? Because when someone is taking hormones or had a medical transition, they obsess about it. I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. That said, if we don't have borders we don't have a country. I have had 2 children in Canada, both being a cesarean birth, one head injury where I was in a coma for 3 months, total stay in hospital, 6 months, and had cancer treatment in hospital lasting 2 years, all while being a single father, raising my 2 girls, and I only paid my $58.00 healthcare premium paid 4 times a year, and nothing else. These hospital stays would have bankrupted me, 4 times over, if it happened in America. Until you start looking after ALL your people, you're 3rd world. Fact. I can’t find the proper words to describe how I’m feeling about the life in Canada! I feel extremely disappointed and angry. EVERYTHING has changed since the early 80s unrecognizably, even the service and how different people treat or mistreat each other!! There is no more courtesy, politeness and human respect in hospitals, government offices, banks, etc. \nThe elected government officials are mostly corrupt, unfit for their duties and pursue only a personal agendas in promotion to a higher level! \nRight now, as of January 2025 we are again expecting endless flows of refugees from Gaza along to anticipated tax increases imposed by Trump. \nI have no more words! I feel that this country becoming a dump with an unbearable quality of life. I am feeling mostly depressed and feel no joy due to current conditions and limited opportunities here. I simple cannot even stand it any more and can’t wait when I would be able to find a new place of my residence outside of Canada!

Once we have enough gang members, drug cartels and murders from all the other countries, we’ll become those countries, while they’ll have it good because they purged all their criminals to us. Even if I want to think that this invasion is not okay, it was the US who invaded all their ancestral lands first. Mexico used to be all the way to California extending to Texas. Now, US wants to annex Canada and Greenland.

I agree, why don't they rise against their own nations as a free people and take back their countries!!! They obviouslt have desires to elevate their lives in some way, we americans had to fight for our country and it wasn't exactlt easy, these people are weak and pathetic for running away from their problems only to bring our country more problems that we can't deal with ourselves, I say we just hand them all a surplus of guns and a campaign plan to take back their own country lol, as much as I hate seeing any human suffer aside from rapists and murderers and child sex abusers, we in America have too many problems ourselves, and I was always told if you can't fix yourself, or love yourself how can you ever hope to be and good for anyone else, and that rings so true with everything, these people need to stand on their own 2 feet and fight against whatever tyranny they have and become a free people, I know if they did that someday they would probably succeed, and perhaos if they did start fighting for their freedom and trying to take back their country, we Americans might help them succeed in those endeavors some way or another...Who knows, these people need to rush their own governments and plead with them or overtake them, they can bum rush our borders I see no reason why they're not capable of doing the same in their own country, massive numbers beats out a shaggy old military and corrupt government any day everytime, yes many lives lost, but the sounds of trumpets for victort will ring out loudly on the end, and the people can finally have the lives and country they desire, we ain't it right now folks so turn back around and take all this border crossing energy to fight against your own establishments
