israel would love to hear other countries are ready to absorb the Palestinians and allow them to inherit the vacated lands. not our watch

Never gonna support their agenda of vacating Palestine by the Palestinians. Good for him for being so straight forward
2023-12-20 0
He's actually wrong & singing the expected tune..\n\nActually the israhell must vacate the entire Palestine....!!

Symptomatic of Canada is the fact that on average Government employees earn 20% more than those in equivalent jobs in the private sector, they retire will fully indexed pensions equivalent to their 3 highest salary years (private sector employees must pay for their own pension or try and live off the universal pension of $1,200 per month from CPP), their benefits and vacation time are unmatched by the private sector. It is workers in the private sector and the companies that employ them who pay all the taxes required to compensate the most overpaid and bloated government service in the world. As a result, Canada's private sector is no longer competitive. It is a country where parents no longer encourage their children to find a high pay job in the private sector, they instead encourage their children to either move to the USA (if they're ambitious) or secure a government sector job. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH CANADA. and God help you if you're born in Canada as a Caucasian Make your change of securing one of these high paying government jobs is close to zero.

Its a myth to believe that people don't get special care in health system in Canada. The super rich still gets all the special treatment. Its just the cattle class that needs to wait for eternity to get an appointment. Better look for a vacation (If you don't have to pay with Kidney for airline ticket) in a different country including third world country, and get the treatment at the same time from a specialised hospital.

God bless you sir, ?? imagine the solution they propose is for Palestinians to vacate their land forcefully. How evil ? ?

For years, I've been drawing comparisons between my life in Canada and that of my American friends. Having lived across three provinces—20 years in Ontario, another decade in Quebec (learning French along the way), and a decade in Vancouver—I adopted a modest lifestyle that saw my savings grow to £40k. However, unforeseen circumstances, like my father's passing, led to financial strain. Despite a good job with travel perks, I found myself yearning for a change. Learning about an Ancestry visa, thanks to a colleague, revealed my eligibility due to my grandparents' immigration from the UK to Canada post-war.\n\nAfter gathering paperwork, I took a leap: severance from my job, selling my condo, and relocating to London, England. Initially hesitant due to the GBP exchange rate, I was pleasantly surprised—my savings lasted three years in England. While my childhood dream was the USA, I found London surprisingly affordable. Though my income was a third of what I earned in Canada, in three years, I found a partner, bought a home within five years, and established a savings account for the first time.\n\nLife in London meant exploring the world, negligible worries about expenses, affordable living costs (from phone bills to dentistry), and accessible public transport. The quality of life, housing affordability, and healthcare in the UK surpassed my Canadian experiences. The lifestyle contrasts were stark—five weeks of paid leave versus minimal vacation time in Canada, affordable education, and fewer societal issues like homelessness or drug abuse.\n\nMy advice? Explore the Ancestry visa for a life-altering opportunity; it’s tied to grandparents' lineage and offers a path to citizenship. The UK's supply and demand dynamics, along with its lower taxes, provide a different economic landscape compared to Canada. And here, what you see on price tags is what you pay—no hidden fees. This shift has transformed my life, and the possibilities seem endless. Check out [the Ancestry visa](https://www.gov.uk/ancestry-visa) for more information!

Exactly, once the Palestinians leave Gaza or the West Bank, the Jews will never allow them back and will claim the vacated land. The Palestinian ‘refugee’ idea is a Zionist plan to claim the remainder of Palestine they didn’t steal in 1947/48!

Why Palestinian leave their home and land? Same as us why we leave our home and land? The plan of bombarding is to vacate and occupy

Arab world must be support truth and truth is, Israel should vacate the land occupied by Israel.

Can't say I'm surprised with the answers, most Canadians I know wont even vacation in America anymore, the situation is just too volatile. My family used to try and do a trip to Disneyland every couple years but their last trip ended coincidentally the day after Trump got in office...haven't even thought about going back since.

Ah it is almost the same in my country, the Netherlands. Extremely wealthy, lot of immigrants to but we have a real reason to complain: we do not have the space Canada does have......let 's say a major difference? ? Anyway I will go to Canada just for vacation, hiking and travelling around ( I think will be Alberta or BC ) and put some of my well earned money in your economy. Greetings from the Netherlands, love your beautiful country and I will visit you. Life is short, make every day count even it is hard to pay your living costs, stay strong lovely people.

Moved to Canada at young age and left Canada at age of 20! 80% of Canada is colder than commercial freezer. The only reason my family moved there is that they couldn’t move to USA and Mexico is too dangerous. Canada is only good for vacation!

I am born in Canada and love the USA.I would love to move there someday. Every year I go on vacation there with my family. The best parts of USA is that its so much more beautiful then Canada, Groceries restaurants clothes electronics stuff is cheaper there, there are more things to do there then Canada, the cities I go to in USA pay more minimum then Canada and most cities there don't have snow or even cities that do get snow don't get cold anywhere near as Canada in Winter.

So it’s like a mini vacation for Ukrainian’s. They came here , was given money housing and it wasn’t enough. ?

Europe is a scam first you come and you need to learn the language which already you started in your country then working and working and your salary can just pay your bills and if you are lucky you have some money to go for a cheap vacation ... after that if you want to move to another country in Europe it is the same like to move to the US ... the schengen area is good only for citizens of Europe that is all any reisdent is not allowed to work anywhere else iit is like a prison to use you and then throw you back to your home country when your visa is canceled .... they have many rules many laws many bureaucracy it is a nightmare i hope i move out to canada very soon and i will never comeback to Europe even for a holiday !

Diwali vacations ending is a reminder of the irony that we leave a warm home, loving family, old friends, ghar ka khana, laughter, giggles and a million memories to move to a lonely, locked house and cold food… in search of a better life.

time off for new parents as well - 12-18 months. I worked with a woman from the US and she was back at work within 3 weeks because she could only use her paid vacation.

cause it's not the land of milk and honey. I'd leave too if I could. We are highly taxed, no decent health care, Unaffordable housing, way behind other countries when it comes to vacation time amounts.....

Trudeau ruined Canada and he isn't finished yet he's laughing at the Canadian people as him and his family fly around the world taking vacations and you can't vote him out because it's all rigged because Trudeau is a puppet and he will stay in his place until the next puppet is ready everyone will be happy to see him gone and they will believe that the new PM is going to make Canada great again but a few years in and everyone will see that, that is not the case it's all a show the PM's are just the actors

Damn, Canada is falling apart, but it beats taking a cheap vacation there lets do it!

My cousin can now forge his medical credentials and then drive for Uber deliveries so he can then own a house via Shadow Banking (The Realty companies will advise the best ones) to rent out to 20 people immigrating to Canada to help pay for the mortgage and his vacation travels back home.

Reduce taxes and remove Justin and his allies ASAP who are openly threatening minority religious group and telling them to leave the country. instead of making it welfare state, encourage both parents working families - that also implies improving education and health quality. Tired of waiting for hours to see a glimpse of medical staff at other end. Have no idea where all the tax we are paying is going. Probably for Justin's ski vacations!! Look at the road and transit conditions in any of downtown. Also make RCMP accountable and give them some power to deal with increasing crimes. While making the list I can clearly see - why anyone should even stay here!!

What’s sad is the the government has no idea it’s happened, neither did they try to get any data around this. Busy giving away money to other countries and bleeding Citizens dry while fomenting trouble by supporting terrorists! Idiots in power dancing in colorful outfits & spending on vacations & trips while charging carbon taxes from people. ??

Remember their names.\nIf Canada goes back to the way it was, they are not allowed back. \nThis is not just a vacation destination like some seem to think.

Living in Toronto is the worst part of my life. It has made me extremely negative - I just hate being there and constantly\nComplain. I have been lucky enough to travel for months at a time, and get to see how amazing other countries and cities are. But it has just opened my eyes to how awful Toronto is, and I dread the last few days of vacation because I know I have to go back to my downtown shoebox, listen to sirens and hate my existence again. Desperately want to leave, and hoping to this year, but the day to day is just so bad. I make decent money but haven’t been able to save a thing due to the high cost of living. The winter is coming and I dread that so so so deeply. F this city, I’m sorry.

I have a cousin in the States. I was shocked at how little he knew about other countries among other things. \n\nThen I vacationed in Hawaii. The newscasts never mentioned anything about what was happening elsewhere in the world (unless it involved the USA in some way. ) Having travelled extensively in the UK & Europe it came as a shock to discover just how insular it is in America. \n\nWhile there I got talking to a girl in one of the shops. Her parents lost their house & everything because of unexpected health issues. I can't even comprehend that. \n\nThe gun culture is another thing I cannot wrap my head around. Some members of my family own guns. They are used only to provide meat for the family and the rest of the time they are locked away safely. Carrying a weapon concealed or openly in day to day life is just crazy. There's been more than 500 mass shootings in the States this year. That's not counting all the other gun violence. Nothing could convince me to live there, and now I won't visit either.

Tyler, Thankyou for being so open-minded and honest about both the USA and my country Canada…you live in a beautiful and geographically diverse country which I love to visit and vacation in. Americans are also very friendly people ! \nHaving said that, when I see what is going on in the USA ( and the world for that matter) I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in this amazing country…I am an extremely proud Canadian who loves to travel, but always happy to call Canada my home.

I married my spouse and moved to the United States from Canada. Before, I didn't give the US much thought and merely loved travelling to a few of the locations. Having said that, even after spending five years there, I have never witnessed a country and a population as divided as the US. You proudly display your flag, yet you're so racist, illiterate, and a bible-thumper that it disgusts me. The United States is not the most free country in the world, despite what the public believes and thinks. In reality, it is also depressing to observe how the healthcare system handles people. The social safety net is completely missing, and by that I mean that most jobs don't pay for maternity leaves or vacations unless you work at a senior level or for a high-end company. The political system is so rigged that it is understandable why people are tired of voting every two years, and perhaps even every year. Most certainly, especially since your elections begin almost exactly when the previous one finished. I suppose I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. Although Canada is not perfect, is not free from controversy or problems, and is not the best at everything, we are able to concede defeat, acknowledge that someone was wrong or that we might have done better, work together with one another, and express that we are SORRY. Yes, it is a word that is never used in the US, and that is also the issue. I'm pleased to be back in Canada, where I belong, and I regret ever leaving. Yes, returning to Canada feels peaceful and inviting compared to travelling to the US, where every trip involves an interrogation to ensure that you don't remain too long. There is no need to worry because I won't be returning to stay, only visit, as previously.

Everytime I go to the US for vacation, as there are so many wonderful places to visit, I’m so frustrated with the rude and obnoxious Americans. It’s always nice to come back home to the majority of people being polite and courteous.

I take my pet to the vet in the US because the price in Canada is insane. Pets are not covered for health care and they really ding you for something as simple as dental work on a dog. It was going to cost us $1500 to have my pet’s teeth PULLED in Canada and it was only $500 in the US. A significant difference! So that is one positive thing about the US that is better than Canada. Also US turkeys are cheaper and juicier than in Canada. It has always been a tradition to get turkeys, cheese, milk, shoes, different flavoured chips, and gas when we cross over. Lol! After visiting the US regularly and vacationing, I do love Canada better because of Health Care. It is a big deal. You folks in the US should be fighting harder for it since it is the norm in Canada and the UK. Yes, we really pay for it in our taxes, but you don’t feel it as much if something bad happens.

Thanks Tyler, interesting topic & not surprised by the the responses. I’ve travelled to the states many times, vacation/work training/day trips & also my son lived in NC on a golf scholarship & you’re correct that it does depend on the area/place within the US but in the end I’m always relieved when I arrive back to Canada. I feel safe here! Our last trip was to California visiting San Francisco, Monterey & the coast, so beautiful & it was a great vacation. Just to mention the only way that we felt safer going there is because it’s a majority Democratic state. US can be nice to visit but there’s no place like home & Canada is the best for many reasons.

I lived in Texas for 10 years and I met wonderful people. But I was absolutely thrilled to get back to Canada and it's a cultural thing. I found American culture focused on 'winning' rather than integrity, so that laws and businesses and banks are predatory, and everyone is on alert/stressed trying to not be victimized somewhere. Some great vacation spots, but it's no way to live.
2023-10-13 0
OMG, as a Canadian…..I’d NEVER live in the US. NEVER. EVER. EVER. \nI won’t ever vacation there again either.
2023-10-13 0
Moving to the States. I don't think so. I won't even risk going on vacation there because I am not bulletproof.

I’m ??ian, and vacationed in LA visiting a friend. We lost power due to a windstorm that year. 3 days without power. 0 riots. 0 additional problems. No anarchy. In retrospect, I’m surprised. Maybe I’m too conditioned by the news.

Can we just be honest, western colleges is a scam business. So much so that banks arent willing to offer loans for schooling. Think about that, a bank can offer you VACATION expenses loan (I got approved of this before) but wont give you an education loan, why. Because funding your education is not profitable for banks.

I think Madam went to Canada on a vacation but vlogged it as if it was potential immigration. Maybe they did the recce this time and will return. But the points about her landing a job and her children getting admitted to school etc. sound bogus.

I can't talk from a point of experience in Canada but from a point of experience in Kenya. Yes things are tough everywhere but I believe things are tuffer here in Kenya, well unless you have a good job, good business or money to invest. I have done of research about Canada, Germany, UK and even Finland. What I have learnt is that opportunities are there as opposed to Kenya. Here in Kenya it's doesn't matter if you have a skill, or papers getting a job is not easy and even harder is getting a good paying job. Most people makes less 10 CAdollars per day which today 1000 or 30 per month minimum wage in Canada is i guess 14.5 in the less expensive provinces. If you work 14 hours per \nDay which I believe possible you have about uko na 20k in ksh, pay tax of maybe 30% combined you have about 130 cad per day work for 25 days in a month you will have about 3250 net stay in most affordable place(hujaenda raha) you can get 1250 in low cost province (not Ontario or BC though here minimum wage iko juu), groceries and expenses budget 1000 per month you can save about 100k ksh pm, save in Cad for few years stay like a student on the budget but work like a donkey. Come back home in few years lets say 5 with save coins probably CAD will trading at 150 coz the hit shilling is taking mind-blowing. You will have 6m to invest any interest or forex gain use them to cover your vacation here in Kenya yes land in Diani you will have missed such weather, enda masai Mara (you deserve it), go visit your parents and most importantly find an investment opportunity you can do real estate but find ideal location but only if you have enough capital ya kujenga and then find someone professional to manage the construction not sending money to your relatives wanapiga sherehe nazo unatumiwa picha za mjengo za nyumba za wenyewe. Pia farming is underated buy a farm land in cheap area ukambani, laikipia, kajiado, taita etc at max 200k per acre 10 acres ni 2m borehole 1.5m with solar and pump. Development such as fenching and service quarters driplines 1m. 1.5 m is working capital ,use it for labour fertilizer, seeds and seedlings. Divide the farm into 5 parts along the fence panda miti ya eucalyptus, other parts do high value perennial cash crops with less management cost like 2 acres of avocado, 2 acres of pixes oranges, lime, the other 2 plant seasonal rotational plants you can even maize, cabbages io ingine do livestock of your choice. If you want low risk investment buy government bond less stress and you are sure government can never fail to repay their local currency bonds ata ikiwa bankrupt coz they can always print more money. Now rates are very high assuming you can get 10% rates with your 6m your will earn 600k risk free income. Your vacation is over, now go back to Canada and work like a donkey because you went there to work, not a vacation. Sorry for the long post ni kukosa job uku Kenya bana, I am looking for legal way to migrate to Canada/US and I've high hopes in those countries. Hopefully next year I will be lucky.

I moved to usa in 2014 after leaving a good paying job in Kenya. Honestly I don’t regret it my kids are thriving especially with free education and good health care. Financially am never broke. I’ve invested in kenya comfortably. We can also comfortably afford to vacation outside usa. Meanwhile my former colleagues in Kenya even with pay rises they still get broke struggling with school fees and medical needs haven’t invested and can’t vacation outside Kenya. I moved to a cheaper state in usa where the cost of living is affordable. If you move to usa avoid expensive states.

For me, before watching. As a citizen, I think that if it was ALL of them, territories and provinces. Yukon would be here, I did a project on it!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere’s low jurisdiction, pretty scenery, nice people, a signpost forest. But it is quite expensive.\nProbably would say Ontario with Niagara Falls and commonly talked about Toronto.\nMaybe even Prince Edward Island, so many of my classmates would go there on vacation. So it must be good!\nI also heard that Quebec has very nice people, even if their French. (I just hate French class)

i think the infrastructure in canada would be better though. eg. in africa if a road needed to be fixed maybe they would take a longer time ... etc .... so the best way is to live in canada and vacation half the year in nigeria lol
