Probably the only thing i liked about harper. \nHe actually protected Canada from the bad type immigrants (there are good too). \nHe made a law making companies hire Canadians FIRST and if they really cant find someone they can hire immigrants. \nHe also lowered the quota of immigrants coming in every year to a reasonable amount that we can actually handle...\n... I am actually not a harper supported believe it or not and voted for Trudeau but tbh Harper does have some things right. Very few things but yea.

One of the women speaking said that Prime Minister, Harper's words regarding Islam are creating fear and yet never once mentioned that Jihadism creates fear. Canadians used to be the nicest people on earth. What happened? The PM Harper is ignorant about Islam as the Koran was the first time God gave women equal rights. Per The Book women are equal to men except by one degree which is strength so God commanded that men be the protectors of women. While I understand the anxiety the Muslim woman in the video feels, her accent is as Canadian as it can be which tells me she probably was born in Canada or came here as an infant. She's obviously had enough time to assimilate. She either has or hasn't. If she has, she's being discriminated against for no other reason than that she's Muslim, which speaks to a mindset that is being espoused by Stephen Harper. When your leader says the things he's saying it doesn't speak well of the country. It would be more honest if he blocked all immigration of Muslims to Canada, but then the Muslims would really have a case if other nationalities were allowed in. Given Canada's small population they're kind of stuck.

I hearn an imam mention the other day a decade and a half ago hed walk down the street with his wife in a niqab and not a stare. Now that the likes of harper have instilled unecessary fear in people;s hearts bc as a politician people like harper know the general population is like sheep, the imam mentions that now he gets talked about walking around with his wife...same people that are minding their business in life but different world.
