Out of sympathy developed nations, European countries and USA take Muslim refugees but neighboring Arab countries won’t take them.\n\nThis also happened while I was in a GCC member country back in 2012 when ISIS attacked Syria. Naturally, Syrian expats expected that if worst comes to worst they will be absorbed by the GCC country where they were working since they are fellow Arabs and Muslims. To our surprise, their work visas were cancelled and never renewed, which mean they have to leave the country or stay undocumented.

I'm originally from Canada but I've been living in the US for the past 15 years. I transited through the Vancouver airport recently and almost EVERYONE who worked there was of South Indian descent (won't generalize - but from the Indian subcontinent). It was an astounding thing to see. It's really changed since when I was younger. So interesting to see and such a contrast from Southern California. Although, if you go back 50 years, they probably said the same thing about Eastern European people.

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.

Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

We came to Canada in seventies, and it takes at least 5 to 8 years to settle here. These days, people are doing well in India. There is no need to move here. Canada has also changed a lot. I know people who came to Canada returned to india after 5 months. Not once twice. They came back and are well settled. I will say if people are doing good in India and have a big circle of family and friends in India. Then they won't be happy here. Finding a good job takes years in some case. It's your luck too if you find a decent job then you will be ok. The worst thing here is long winter. You get tired of cold and snow. Now the cost of living is very high, renting or buying a house is very expensive. In the end, most people make it.

You never hear of Muslims supporting Christians in the Muslim countries. Muslims never condemn atrocities against Christians in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Palestine or Pakistan. Saudi Arabia only accepts millions of Christians as foreign workers. Why? Yet they won't employ the millions of unemployed Muslim Arabs. That is why Europe is overrun with millions of Muslim refugees. I've heard many stories of Muslim parents relocating to Qatar or the UAE so their children can get an Islamic education. Then their children marry local Arabs and then move back to Western countries for financial reasons. Many of their offspring become radicalised against Western culture.

It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. I'm Canadian born and raised.The main problem is too many people are left leaning so we have the same problems as California,to much bureaucracy,high taxes,crime,homelessness,drugs etc that's all a biproduct of liberalism.High taxes are needed to fund left wing policies like the climate scam,giving billions to ukraine,womens groups,gay groups etc the useless bureaucrats have to justify their position so millions of unnecessary and pointless policies are imposed.I'm a welder and the bs you have to go through is so extream many just give up and do something else.As for immigrants it effects them too so we have doctors driving cabs or nurses working at mcdonalds etc these problems really started to be an issue when Canada got progressive in the mid 90s and never recovered.I heard 50k of born and raised Canadians have been leaving every year for the last 3 years with no end in sight.My countrymen need to wake up and dump left wing thinking and bring back the conservatism from the past that built this country or there won't be a Canada.

We live in Australia and we did similar move twenty years ago. We went to back home Jordan for similar reasons. We came back five years ago. The kids picked up Arabic Islam and kinship. To shorten our experience. My recommendation a country that has standards of living. Malaysia ,Turkey and Indonesia are examples. It’s crucial to have an excellent income. Otherwise you won’t last. about the work policy , I really like Canada, bc every one worked. Back home if u have something like peeper works , you went in the office the workers who is working in the office they keep you long plus you have to go back and forth so many times one day works takes so many days, because the won't u to give them money if you want your peper work done, every one work in the office or somewhere is bribery. I was born in Canada but I'm married to an immigrant, a hard-working model citizen who is loved by everyone, we have a child together and we've now decided to move back to Japan. I will not have my daughter grow up under sharia law. I'm educated enough to know what happens when we allow Islam power. So, contrary to what others are commenting on here, he doesn’t want to take the Palestinians in for 2 actual reasons. 1. He doesn’t care about the Palestinians, but rather sees them as needed bodies because he thinks if all the Palestinians leave, Israel won’t allow them back. 2. He doesn’t want to take in Palestinians because of how many of them have extreme beliefs. Saudi Arabia doesn’t have that many terrorists, so why would he allow a population in that has a sizable percentage of terrorists?

Just because their fellow Arabs refuse to take them as refugees doesn’t mean Israel loses the right to defend itself from the barbaric terrorist attack Hamas launched against them. \nAny other country would have the right to defend itself from terrorists that live at their borders. If Hamas cared about their citizens, they’d have a plan for them and their safety once they initiated this war on Oct 7th. But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

Just for context, during conflicts in Sudan, Syria, Ukraine ect the whole world unites to take them in more or less. \nHow Arab countries support Palestinians:\n1) Don't give them shelter in their darkest hour.\n2) Won't use their armies to support them. \n3) Won't push for other Arab countries to dismantle their Palestinian refugee camps.\n3) Use state media like Al Jazeera to lay all the blame on Israel and go back to chilling in palaces. \nDEFLECTION: Strategy to keep Palestinians refugees for 75yrs also works to feed my fussy 3yr old.

Another way of saying no. Europe did not say no to Ukraine refuges, but Arab nations just sit back and criticize. Egypt and Jordan to name a few could give relief to the situation by opening their borders. But they won’t.

He avoided mentioning that Hamas broke a long standing truce and that the Palestinians are suffering because of that. I agree with what he said though. There is concern that if they leave, they won’t be able to come back and Egypt doesn’t want Hamas terrorists in their country. No one wants these fools. I’m a 72 year old Canadian leaving Canada. I found a great little place to live in south east Asia during a total of six months stay there. \n Canada is not the free and family friendly country that I grew up in where a family could have a home and enjoy life on a single average income. \n Flying out again in 2024.
