Who is my America so afraid today is because if we get massive people to come back to United States are living in common with absolutely change

idk about you guys but that is not the kind of people i would even want in my country. my parents immigrated too but never expected hand outs nor did they ever recieve financial aide of any kind. why give our taxpayer dollars to these people when we are not even taking care of our own people? people that they themselves have paid into the system. i have also worked with them and its been the worst experience. they dont want to do the work right and get offended when you try to coach them. they show up to work to recieve a check but dont come to work to work. they are people that just expect things to be given to them because thats how it used to be when venezuela was rich off oil. its sad that this is how they represent their people

Actually there are other countries that allow people to just walk in. Have you not heard of the hundreds of people who arrive in small boats and rubber dinghies into the UK every day? The ironic thing is that many are rescued by the British navy and coastguards when their flimsy craft get into trouble and are actually brought from international waters to a UK port.

I get that most Venezuelans main objective is to get into the US, but they are literally invading all South and North America countries. Born and raised Cdn and every point you raise is valid IMO and experience. I love my country however, it is hard to get ahead, we work too much, and cost of living is so expensive. The reason why Canada is wonderful for those who stay is A) Charter of Rights and Freedoms - we are protected by laws and citizens enjoy legal, justice, policing and gvmt services that help protect quality of life. B) it is a safe country primarily and not easy to reach for insurgents, terrorist attacks and political anarchy etc. C) We have so much land and space for people to decide where they want to live - density is not high so you can have space. D) it is a beautiful country with awe inspiring nature. E) we do have one of the best immigrant populations and that is our crown. Being diverse is a blessing so if you are atheist, Christian, Muslim etc doesn't matter - you can enjoy freedom to worship as you wish. And F) Healthcare could improve but, the quality of care is world class and speaking as a breast cancer survivor who's treatment ran $120k (diagnostics, chemo, surgery, radiation, med professionals, rehab and drug therapies) we have access to that care whereas in other countries you may not.

Bruh. These people are running from a war torn country. I don't get why people are so pissed about these guys doing this. Sure it's illegal. Sure it uses resources. But uhh. It's our own governments fault for not using our taxes to pay for the things we need when we're in need. I could see the outrage if this was happening with people from other countries that have no constant violence going on. But these people are scared for their lives.

I say lay radioactive waste at the border that will keep people from making it into the United States. Having so many people that aren’t background checked come in is really scary. Mexico needs to replace their president and actually get some balls and airstrike all the cartels then maybe talk about cleaning the waste up.

My best friend started her immigration process in 2017. She was finally green lit to come to America in 2019 after marrying her long time husband over in Europe and then getting the paperwork done here in the US during that time Covid hit, and when they closed all the borders, they stopped all of the immigration process to America meaning that she was stuck in Europe away from her husband for three years. Finally last year after making her go back through the process getting all of her paperwork re-done, paying another $5000 she was able to come to the US just last month she got the start of her paperwork for her green card to work here in the US and become a full US citizen. It’s been a long process. It infuriates me that people like that who are honest, hard-working people who want to come to the US and start a life after being married, proven to have jobs and want to pay taxes and support a system. That’s willing to take them in get held up because of people like this want to come here illegally Big cause of whatever the reasons are trying to circumvent and skip over the people who are trying their hardest to do it the right way in the first place, dust dragging the system further down.

I don't understand why these people wanna come into United States? Why can't they get jobs and make a living and farm? Where they live what's wrong with you? We only live on a Little Rock in the middle of outer space. Why the hell did they fix up their area? Why they got to hord United States for?

Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other president (more than Trump I believe), Trump stiffened up the border, and Biden made measures to actually make it tougher for these Venezuelan immigrants to get into the US once the migrant herd was moving north. This is a result of Venezeula and their economic collapse. If it happened sooner, it would've happened during Trump's time. I'm sure once Biden is out and a republican is president (looks that way), they'll try it again. Even Mexico doesn't want them since they have their economic issues to deal with.

My family and I came here over 20 years ago. We have done everything!. Taxes my family opened their own business they have been a example of a American people. My journey to permanent citizenship took 5 long hard years of hard work, impeccable record of residency with no issues with any law or law enforcement, slogged through employment at the company who sponsored (much lesser pay). One of themajor rallying calls: immigration. The way media report on this becomes increasingly demeaning and hateful. During the 1930's much of the European media and even as far as the UK was ramping up the scorn against the ever increasing influx of Jewish immigrants coming from Germany. Even into 1944 there was a vast amount of demonisation of them seeking asylum, despite the knowledge by this point that there were horrific conditions in camps where extermination was becoming ever more apparent. The Nazi German government in 1936 passed laws that enabled them to revoke citizenship and stripped away laws on human rights. It would be great to say that these poor souls who were being demonised in their own country were accepted into nations who could see what was going on and who wanted to help, but that just wasn't the way it went. The way the UK government is currently working, it actually sounds like the maxi government of the mid 30's during the time of the Nürnberg laws. \n \nThe world feels far smaller now with double the amount of people and with things like social media playing a huge role in the lives of many. The ease of access to people around the world has made issues seem to stretch to far more countries now, whereas back then it was a time of empires. I get that there will be many here who support Trump, many who support Biden, there will be Brit's who support Sunak and the rather vicious words of Suella Braverman, whilst others will be more on the side of Starmer (I'm well aware of all the other parties but they don't stand to gain as much). There will be French people backing Macron, whilst others back Le Pen. We could go through each country all the way to the battle between Fujimori and Castillo in Perú, and the stories are much the same, but how will history judge us when people look back to this time? Will it be another occasion where we demonised those trying to escape the horror of the place they had the bad luck to be born in whilst we were luckier? \n\nI know there is hardship everywhere. I'm struggling more than most and I know I can't keep living this way. However, I don't want to be a part of history people look back at and say ‘if only they did something to help prevent this.’. I would rather be a part of history people look back upon and say; ‘that was a boring time period where nothing important happened’. It's already too late for that. Instead I try to remember that, though I was born into a family who never really wanted me, I was lucky enough to be born into a country that could support me during the hardest times. When you look at immigrants, remember that every one of us has immigrants in our family tree somewhere.

Let them do it the right way not just run in and go on welfare and get free housing and health care. We can't take care of our own people how can we take care of millions of illegal immigrants?
