Some migrants get free homes pay no rent or utilities I saw a article about it. There is a 5 million home shortage in this country. Illegals are making it worse. We need 1.5 million homes built each year just for population growth, fire, flood, tornados, hurricanes, old age. We have been under that for over a decade after the last housing crash which put builders out of business. Now, less builders, large housing deficit and high mortgage rates.

My husband lost his job of 20 years from Covid! We have 4 kids. Literally had to start life over. We cannot afford anything right now. I’m living in my family’s basement! The cost of living does not match the pay! We are currently trying to open a business! Please pray for my family. We are Americans! We are offered nothing. Everything just keeps rising!

My in law US veteran spend around 10 years dealing with Veterans Affair to get his retirement fullfill then last minute they demand him to take a drug test ; imagine in ten years been poor he would of end up doing. I have a background in Nursing and a Bachelor of Conservation Biology, Ecology and Biotechnology. I wanted to go to Canada to work for a couple of years but the visa process is too damn hard, I should have just walked into the country without a visa, why didn't I think of that before ?, I was doing it all wrong (I am being sarcastic).

My best friend is a college professor, who applied work visa 6 years ago, but still hasn’t been approved. Thousands of Illegal people can just come in , with food,/board/ and brand new cell phones paid by US tax dollars. This is truly INSANE. These politicians need to be put in jail for spending our money for policial favors!!!! This is a crime!

I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. There are enough illegal immigrants here in the US. Personally I think we should them instead as most have being paying their taxes and have contributed to our country in their way. Especially anyone that has lived here 10 years and have shown that they are good people.

My friend is from Mexico who came to the US legally and has been a border officer for many years now. He has a very hard time telling Mexican migrants that they cannot enter the US illegally. But the law is law and it is the same if you enter Mexico. It's just a matter of Mexico doesn't have many opportunities for jobs that pays well and it's a better life in the US. I grew up with migrants all of my life. They worked 3 jobs for many hours per day but would rather have that than go back to Mexico - with no job. If Mexico had a flourishing economy, I feel migration isn't an issue. But then there's history - California belongs to Mexico but someone sold it to the Americans long ago.
