I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. I understand their situation, BUT, they need to do legally period . I came to this awesome country long time ago, though a legal port of entry, I never used a penny of Canadian taxpayer money, I raised my self up, , I work very hard, I live a wonderful lifestyle with my family, now, my country Canada ??, this country given a lot , but , I pay my fear share to the government, taxes.

We're polite and nice until we're taken advantage of or treated like an idiot! Kindness is important, but doing what's morally right is more important to me personally! So if that means me speaking up or calling out bs when I see it, I will! I do believe in giving each person their own clean slate. I adjust according to the person! Those things have no bearing on how I choose friends! It's all about the content of one's character! I do keep to myself most of the time but strive to be kind and polite when I'm around others! But everyone is different. You will run into aholes anywhere you go! Canada is NO EXCEPTION. You have to be careful still about how you move. For example as an indigenous woman I don't go out alone after dark. You can't just trust anyone and leave yourself vulnerable because you never known what someone's intentions are. You can find people that are so unkind. You can also find some of the nicest people in the world here. I imagine the same can be said about any country. Our government certainly doesn't represent us personally. We all have our own personalities and lives! And I don't judge others based on their race religion or their government at home! When I was a kid there was no shortage of people letting me know I'd never amount to anything. So yeah you can find aholes anywhere you go! Please don't leave yourself vulnerable and assume everyone here has good intentions! Especially if you travel alone! We still have a lot of issues you probably never heard of! You have to be careful anywhere you go! ❤

There hundreds of thousands of people applying to come to Canada legally, why others should be allowed to sneak in here. No arrests either. It cost money to keep lawyers for them , and to feed them. Just another trick from Immigration Canada bcs eventually they ll all get here under the Refugee Convention's rules. Just send them home. One way ticket.

The fact that this was allowed to exist at all is a crime against the legal citizens of Canada. The politicians that have allowed this to carry on should be arrested and tried for Treason. Just because 1 path is closed doesn't mean another path is not opened, or can be opened to enter Canada illegally. Migrants could try to enter Canada in different ways illegally, so I don't think much progress was made by possibly eliminating 1 option to enter Canada illegally.

Roxham Road is now closed. Anyone who gets to the United States will now have to stay in the United States. These people aren't coming to Canada because they have nowhere else to, they're coming because they prefer to live in Canada over anywhere else.
