Greaaaatttt. More housing issues to come into the US. Already can barely afford an apartment, why not invite more bodies to fuck with the economy more? Might as well just take a Ford ranger sized nuke and just end it all cause in a year we're gonna be in another depression.

There is no leadership in America, just a resident of the White House and some incompetent hacks writing laws handed to them by corporations

America can't house everyone that hates their country. Every city in America has a homeless problems & it is not enough jobs.
2023-07-01 0
Hi I don’t mind immigrants but that’s way too much. Shoot them down if you have to cause I don’t even have a house myself.
2023-07-01 0
I have no problems with immigrants I think that’s what america was built off of but it’s getting to the point where they are literally stealing and ruining our country! Overthrow ur fucking government tf are you doin comin over here ILLEGALLY n tryna overthrow ours? We here in America don’t even have enough houses or resources for ourselves but y’all think u can just force ur way in here n get handouts when the American people don’t get shit themselves. Gtfoh! This is how hate starts.

Beginning to look like Trump was right. Close all the borders. We almost have run-out of housing for ourselves. How can we house them?
2023-06-30 0
This kind of thing is why housing is so unaffordable now. Though, what people don't understand, is how American policy has made it impossible for some countries in South America to have a stable government or economy. Any time a regime has threatened US profits, usually by making policies that benefit their own people first, we have their leader assassinated, the party eliminated and replaced by dictators and despots friendly to corporate interests. They are fleeing the extreme poverty and violence in regions we intentionally destabilized. This essentially boils down to our own government refusing to harvest our own resources, in favor of exploiting poorer countries.

How are we supposed to house them if we already have millions of homeless, not even including immigrants?
2023-06-29 0
Great, send them to AOC's house
2023-06-29 0
We ca t take care of our own people and we don’t have housing stay out of our country I’m sorry but it’s bad enough for us as is
2023-06-29 1
I love my Mexican people. But we really have no room in CA. We have no affordable housing as it is
2023-06-29 0
Only 230 million out of the 331.9 million Americans own houses not rented not leased payed for in full this mean 100.9 million either don't own or are renting or are in housing these people will most likely contribute to the homeless epidemic which means hundreds of thousands of family's are homeless on top of the already 30% of people without homes in america

Republicans in Congress and the house have been talking about the crisis on the border long before this happened. Maybe if people listened this wouldn't have happened. Protecting our borders should be the president's 1st number one priority as a commander in chief.

For me, I live in Vancouver, but when I'm done college, I'm hoping to find a job in Seattle and immigrate there. They recently opened up a Pokemon HQ there, Nintendo's hiring, Seattle's the HQ of Bungie, the maker of the Destiny games and much more! I feel like it's easier to find a job in the US than in Canada. In fact, my college instructor said so. There's more jobs there than in this small town. I'm heading towards SFU and I'm hoping to land a few coops, including one in Seattle to see if I like it there. And no, I do not care about healthcare, mass shootings or politics. The chances of you randomly being shot is about the same as getting ran over by a car. For healthcare, it's usually provided by your employer. But otherwise, you can buy it yourself as there's many options to choose from. Some of them are really good, but people are just overgeneralizing everything. My hope is that employment will eventually lead to permanent residency. Then, I can go buy a house in Texas, Florida or Colorado where it's much cheaper than Vancouver
2023-06-25 0
More and more people wont be able to afford buying houses. Younger generations are screwed, as well as millions of new Canadians. At some point renters will not be able to afford ever growing rents and start defaulting on payments (and slam lords will have all fun in the world kicking out thousands and thousands of desperate families.., good luck with that!!!).\nAt some point it all will lead to rise in social unrest. \nIt just a matter of time until Canadian government will be forced to launch an unprecedented program to build subsidized housing, and to pay for this crazily expensive program it will be forced to introduce home equity tax, as well as higher inheritance taxes.

Great, as if harbouring terrorists and giving them millions of dollars wasn't enough... Now we're helping the child groomers and traffickers get houses.

Canada's economy is basically exporting resources, residential construction, the automobile industry, diploma mills for foreign students, and a small software/life sciences sector, plus the servicing of those sectors. With EVs a large part of the automobile sector (the plants that produce internal combustion engines and related car parts) will disappear and oil exports will shrink. At some point the housing boom will pop, and the construction sector will massively shrink, plus all the related banking, real estate etc. services. If we annoy China enough the diploma mills will also have a lot less customers.
2023-06-21 0
nope!\nsucks for them but we've got waaaay too many homeless here already. our public services, government housing, schools etc. are strained - the US isn't the promised land anymore.

U.S.A need to tell the truth we have no housing for family here or jobs barely can feed the people living here
2023-06-18 0
For everyone saying that they feel bad for these people and they just want to come and work and escape oppressive governments does not even understand that those reasons are irrelevant. If all these migrants where good people and there was enough space to house and feed them with burdening the tax payer great. But that's not reality, a lot of these people cross illegally, break into people's houses, rob, rape, kill, etc...If any of the media even bothered to go and interview anyone from the border towns and cities, they would realize how angry and frustrated they are, parents no longer send their children outside to play because some random people running through their yard steal and break into their houses, but this doesn't get reported on because it doesn't fit their narrative of these desperate migrants just want to work and live freely.

Why don't they fight there corrupt government letting them in puts more Americans at risk for Job loss less government assistance less housing for Americans higher crime rate and this right here is going to cause racial tension letting them in is taking away what little Americans have left
2023-06-15 0
Y’all complaining bout taking care of our homeless first before them, uhhh for one, our government doesn’t do shit for illegals except send them back. Two, when’s the last time u ever seen a homeless immigrant? Them mfers work their asses off and pay for everything. If anything they are good for economy. Way I see it is we keep them and send all our homeless back to Mexico and South America in place of the ones who work so they don’t end up like the bums on the street. Seen a homeless guy say they need housing before they can get a job. It ain’t possible to do otherwise, but when you ever hear an immigrant say some dumb shit like that? They find work by any means necessary. I say we get ICE to start cleaning up homeless and leave the hard working immigrants alone.
2023-06-15 0
Not typically against helping people trying to give their families a better life, without the risk of being killed over dumb shit, but it's getting more and more likely here. Not to mention our own housing crisis. We really do need to at least get things under control for our own citizens before we do more to open up migration. Sure, we have plenty of land and a very small population for it, but it seems more and more that we're tumbling down a hill as a nation right now.

As a black person that lives in Toronto, Ontario. I can confirm the racism is sneaky. They use education, Jobs, housing market to bring us back. And in Ontario the Indians and Asians discriminate against us.

Should have opened fire ,but then again democrats got some new slaves lol ? hopefully they push out those low income families out of their section 8 housing maybe then they will think twice for voting democrat in hahah

Yeah, we African living here know that miss. Why live there. Africa is where it’s at. The Chinese know Africa is where it’s at. Melanated ppl need to know this…. \nRacism here in Canada is shown in a more quiet way than it is in america. If you’re going to continue living in Edmonton you will experience racism. Ontario is already crowed and housing is outside the ball park. Africa is where it’s AT .

F this crazy there isnt even housing for them
2023-06-13 1
Canadians have had enough. We have a housing and medical crisis and migration has contributed. We should be allowed to speak out.
2023-06-13 0
All are much more affordable than the UK. Over here the average annual salary is equivalent to around 50,000 Canadian Dollars. And an average 3 bedroom house would cost around 1 million - 1.4 million Canadian Dollars.
2023-06-13 0
canadians are doing just fine. first time buyers are struggling all around the world and most likely we are moving towards build to rent globally. The house prices in Canada are jacked up because most of the population is located in just a few cities and peope with spare cash like to invest their money somewhere.

And she is light skinned too. They dont care . . . Hughhhh If you are not 100% White you can forget it and that include the uppity house N's too who think that the undercover W/S 's in their midst are their friends just because they have whyte friends they think they are so special until reality check remind them too of where they do not fit in at. So Black People. Stop forcing your way into areas you are not accepted.
2023-06-09 0
Housing is not as affordable as it used to be in Canada. Rents and house prices are far too high. We also have massive food price inflation. Job are better in some areas than others. My beef with the job market in Canada is the wages are at 2019 levels. They need to adjust to 2023 costs of living with all the increased costs. People are friendly in Canada, as it's one of our faults.

Where America getting houses and accomodation for all these people.
2023-06-06 0
This is clearly the product of decades long failed immigration practices and has nothing to do with the housing crisis Trump created. Theres more jobs being created now than ever with less people willing to or qualified to take them. The problem is also that most of the jobs available now are such garbage that even the immigrants dont want them.
2023-06-06 0
? the US is full. We don't have any jobs, housing, or welfare for you????
2023-06-06 0
What is sad is thst we cant afford housing or food anymore so how could we support them? Its a damn shame they want to come here
2023-06-06 0
As much as I sympathize with them... The USA can barely take care of their seniors, disabled, veterans, homeless and can not handle a mass exodus. Admit 5 and everyone will take that as an invitation. Nip it in the bud. Everyone coming across the border is coming with their hands out for food, money, housing. And most are so ungrateful that they turn around and badmouth the USA for not putting them up in swanky digs.
2023-06-05 0
I hate to say this but the US got its own problems. The people here already have issues with inflation, housing, jobs etc..
2023-06-04 0
They want rooms at the Waldorf Astoria and free food cash assistance medical benefits food stamps housing swnd them all back with a number to be processed legally wait on line like we do on the shop rite delicatessen line
2023-06-04 0
Mmmm they don’t want you, why force your way in someones house???
2023-06-03 0
Well, well!Only in Canada, you say .How about the US,France and other countries in the world? I assume that there are no homeless people in the US or France...How many thousands and thousands die from drugs in the US and other countries in the world.Yes,the governments should do better and find/build special housing for these people. They should set up special\nclinics in order to detoxify these drug addicts. The problem is that people don't want to have these clinics in their neighbourhood because they are afraid of fights, their houses will go down\nin value and so on.I saw a documentary about the homeless people and I was surprised and not surprised about what they are saying. There is what they call the Old House Brewery in\nMontreal and there are about 50 beds (or more) and the homeless people can sleep, eat and shower. There are a lots of then who refuse to go to this place, some say that so people were\nmaking noises at night and they prefer to sleep under bridges ..Homeless people are everywhere in the world.DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S ALSO THE JOB OF THE PROVINCES TO FIND\nSHELTERS FOR THESE PEOPLE...
2023-06-03 0
This is just sad. We hardly make it day to day, and a lot of people take advantage of the government. It's annoying that we pay taxes while others get free housing and help, and we can't.
2023-06-03 0
Don’t the illegals get food stamps & housing too? Before Americans?
