Idk. I can’t knock their decision that’s for sure. My whole life I’ve wished my grandparents had kept on walking north. They did it legally but if only they’d kept walking north toward reasonable access to healthcare and fewer mass shootings. You know this might actually work out well for Canada. I know a lot about the laid back mentality. If you can make above 100K a year, the governments of Quebec and Canada take a 55% and take another 15% on almost everything you buy in Quebec. Another thing: You also have to wait sometimes 14hrs + at the hospital if ist not a critical emergency. The driving license cost 130$ every year and the license plate minimum 225$ each year. You wanna know how much it is to put a license plate on your fancy new speed bike? 2000$ EACH YEAR! outch!

This is out of control! What makes them the responsibility of the U.S. . especially when our country won't even take care of its own citizens properly. I really don't know what to tell them, except that they need to go through the process for legal immigration, not a mass free for all brawl.

The tax points are valid but it also has a plus side. Having the sales tax added at checkout forces you to know what you are paying and hopefully being outraged at each and every purchase. Income taxes on your pay stub every two weeks throws the tax amount right into your face so that you can't not know. 30 years ago in Ontario there was a proposal to have sales tax included in prices. I wrote a letter to my MPP arguing against. People need to be confronted by the idea of their tax amounts. Being perpetually offended by taxation keeps the populace from getting complacent about government mismanagement of the public purse.

Many of the people here in the comment box trying to explain how cringy Canada is even who born and raised in Canada! I am pretty sure those people never have been to a country like Bangladesh, average part of India. Otherwise, they wouldn’t even imagine to write down such a bad words about their country. Here in south Asia, average people literally beg to their boses for their sallery unless its a high-end job. Its weird to hear I know but the reason behind is the combination of inflation and instability of work-life balance. As being raised in Bangladesh though an American I can tight the difference. These videos are important to let people know that Canada is really not a great place. I suppose the only really good thing about Canada is it is better than Haiti or Afghanistan. The climate is horrible, cost of living and taxes are very high and services like health care are spotty.
