Deport the aliens.
2024-05-28 0
Deport? How about straight up TRUE life in prison.

Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.

what he did is not acceptable and he needs to be deported and does not deserve to appeal and stay here 4 another 2-3 years or more....playing a system that he did not follow

Deport deport deport
2024-05-27 0
I'm Indian and fully support their deportation.
2024-05-26 0
We need to also increase deportations.

All immigrants must comply with Canadian laws. Failure to do so should face the consequences of deportation. There should be no excuses. Wow how many lives were lost and families scarred for life and this man has rights to keep fighting to stay in Canada. It is time Canada moved more central politically and demand the respect of every immigrant. Follow Australias lead. If you were not invited then live within the country' rules or leave. Too many arrivals are deally just scamming born Canadians of all cultures. Time to wake up Canada...

Does this means if this driver's background is English, should he be deported to England? Or should anyone committing a crime in Canada for that matter be deported to the country of origin of their ancestors?
2024-05-26 0
Deport incompetent drivers/workers
2024-05-26 0
Don’t deport him, let me have him.
2024-05-26 0
Slip and fall lawyers have their claws all over this looking for another taxpayer payday they can milk for years on appeals. Deport his legal team along with him !
2024-05-26 0
We need deportations!!!!!!!!
2024-05-26 0
He should not be deported
2024-05-26 0
Deport asap
2024-05-26 0
he should be deported.
2024-05-26 0
The taxpayer has paid the price for this persons crime and should pay no more. His punishment was time and deportation and he should never be allowed in Canada ever again.
2024-05-26 0
Honestly you should have to drive 10 years in Canada with a G class licence and safe record in order to get your AZ. I don’t think deportation is the answer but he should have had to do a longer prison sentence, 2 years community service, never be allowed to drive that class of a vehicle and wait 5 years once released to reapply for a drivers license. Too much tax dollars already spent behind this man. The real victims will never have a voice and their families will never have closure.
2024-05-25 0
Deport them. We don't want this in the U K.
2024-05-25 0
Guys , how about citizens of Canada who drink and drive and killed innocent people. Only a two years jail time etc . Because he is a landed immigrant doesn’t mean he should been deported he did his time that was needed . Let the system decide . He is human we all not perfect . Let’s be fair and honest if he was a Canadian citizen no one would say deport him . Everyone needs a second chance of life .
2024-05-25 0
???? wow OMG ? what's the reason for this mass deportation
2024-05-25 0
Indian People are very cool people. This Man had an accident. He didn't go out and plan this. Hes done his time. He'll live with this the rest of his life. Why deport him?\nHe cooperated with investigators, accepted responsibility and did time.\nWhen did Canada become a Country of retribution, punishment and revenge?\nWe're pathetic and this is a Joke and a travesty. Shame shame shame.....
2024-05-25 0
Why is the due process so slow in Canada?! why should it get years to deport him? he is not a Canadian citizen and is responsible for taking the lives of 16 beloved children.
2024-05-25 0
He should not be deported.

Global News is trying very hard to turn this deportation into re-casting a convicted criminal as an oppressed victim. Why? \nSidhu was not and is not a Canadian citizen. Conviction = deportation. But put that question aside for a moment. Was Sidhu trained, licensed, experienced and knowledgeable about driving a heavy vehicle on a highway across the Prairies in winter conditions? If so, where did he get that training and experience? Did he have the qualifications for a Class 1 Operator's License? Did he have prior experience? If so, where, when, and how much? \nGlobal News doesn't focus on what caused the deaths of the Humboldt Broncos - why? Accounts at the time suggested that Sidhu was not qualified, but that by some process he got the job anyway. Will Global be following up on that? Up to now, Global has not asked those questions. Sidhu was convicted for actions resulting in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. He is not a Canadian citizen and the rules are clear: his criminal conviction means he's being deported. Unlike Global News, the victims I see in this story are the families of the Humboldt Broncos team, and the team members themselves. Global News want to change criminal to innocent victim. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was given a fair trial, convicted and sentenced. Now he is being deported. If Global wish to play the 'reverse the story' game, perhaps they should refuse Canadian citizens' tax dollars as 'revenue'.

Our woke politicians main media antifa and left wing will resist any attempt to deport him.
2024-05-25 0
He should be jailed for 12 years and than deported
2024-05-25 0
I don't get it. It was a unfortunate and tragic accident. He didn't cause the accident on purpose. He owned up to it. Pleaded guilty. I get a mistake was made. But i don't get is how him being deported prevents anything, and or remedies anything. The terrorst, omar khadar, who killed allied soldiers lives in Canada with a $10 million payout. Illegal aliens with no documentation? Thats fine too. The man suffered enough and will live with his mistake for the rest of his life. I just don't understand it. It feels like punitive punishment for unintended and accidental consequences.

Canada lets psychopath killers roam free everyday that have intentionally killed people. Those killers are allowed to walk free among us and can legally change their name so nobody knows who they are or what they’ve done. This man made a mistake, many lives were lost , but, he has owned up to it, shown remorse and should not be deported. He didn’t use the insanity plea he choose to face it head on. He deserves to stay in Canada.
2024-05-25 0
He has medical issues that taxpayers will be stuck with. Deport now!!
2024-05-25 0
What a bunch of hateful trolls on here. Yes he made a big mistake. He owned up to it. He will be a good citizen for years to come in Canada. And for those who lost love ones in that crash. Is it going to make you feel better, will you get on with your lives, will you be happier because he got deported. Maybe forgive the man. Release that anger that is bottled up in you. Guarantee you will feel better in the long run.
2024-05-25 2
Dude made a mistake!!! He had paid the price in Canadian jail…. The man killed those kids it was tragic…. Should he be deported I don’t think so!!!!! He’s got to live with himself for the rest of his life weather here or in India ! But why didn’t the company owner get time? For putting inexperienced driver behind the wheel ? However going by Canadian law the man didn’t have his citizenship so based on rules alone he needs to go home….
2024-05-25 0
Deport him! The owner of the company needs to be put in jail!!
2024-05-25 0
Miscarriage of justice. He should have been permitted to stay and raise his family. It was an accident but people want revenge. I don't feel that way. Indian people except for Jagmeet are in my estimation good people who work hard to better themselves. They are nice people who love Canadians except for Jagmeet. I think he deserves a second chance. He's not some useless bum. He works and raises a family and spent 8 years in jail. I think he's being deported because he brought embarrassment to the Liberals insane mass immigration policy.
2024-05-25 0
He should be deported our laws upheld.
2024-05-25 0
Hmmm\nnon citizens of ALL skin colours involved in road accidents will be deported?
2024-05-25 0
If we didn’t deport him every other no citizen would not follow the laws of Canada.??
2024-05-25 0
I don’t get why he needs to be deported how does that fix anything?
2024-05-25 0
Deport immediately
2024-05-25 0
If it’s ruled that he’s to be deported(which I agree with) then deport him. If he wishes to appeal on whatever grounds, he can make his appeal from his home country. I personally think that any immigrant found guilty of a serious crime should be deported, but Canadian citizenship prevents that I believe…which is why I don’t think citizenship should only be granted to those born in Canada, leaving the option to deport on the table if you engage in nefarious activities. \nThe fact that he has children born that require health care that’s “only available here” isn’t a factor. He should reap what he sows.
2024-05-25 0
If he was deported because he was driving without a license or driving dangerously, I would agree to that, but if it was a mistake, I feel like this is a bit harsh. At the same time, I am puzzled at why the government deports this kind of an incident, while Hamas supporters are allowed to stay on Canadian soil?
2024-05-25 0
For the sake of existing, new, and potential immigrants…. Make it super fast and super cheap to deport convicted criminals.
2024-05-25 0
Im not saying dont deport him. Law is the law. But what he did was an accident. Why arent we deporting everyone else that commits crime purposefully, Immediately upon conviction?
2024-05-25 0
You wanna go to the Dance you gotta pay the band you do the crime you get deported ...
2024-05-25 0
2 million more need to be deported
2024-05-25 0
Canada, we will see if he actually gets deported. Your judges are known for beign the idiots who release criminals into the society.
2024-05-25 0
Deportation should be done without the tax payers money to be spent time in the prison. What does his lawyer talking about that he's going through PTSD? He did the crime, and the is sympathetic to the murderer, not the victims. The company which hired him, without any experience should shut down.
2024-05-25 0
canada is so racist for deporting this guy..he served his sentence and thats that
2024-05-25 0
Deported himself and his family from India. Womp womp. Back you go
2024-05-25 0
deported ? Really ? \nLike he can’t come back with fake paperwork from India? \nwhat a fail of a justice system.
