He’s fined 900 grand and seven years in prison. The guy made millions of dollars and brought over thousands of illegal immigrants into Canada. Is this the punishment? No wonder he wasn’t concerned about getting caught and got away with it such long time. Canada is a joke ?

There’s this lady who hates illegal immigrants and I asked how her grandparents came to the USA and she said they came here illegally but they worked their butts off and got their citizenship.. then I told her “they still came to the USA illegally.. they didn’t do it the right way either” some people are so dumb

To keep citizens a priority over the influx of immigrants and refugees Denmark had cut welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and refugees and many began leaving to more profitable countries (in benefits). Why has our country not put something like that in place? It definitely would sort out those who came for the 'freebies'.  ~ Denmark's ‘integration benefit'  measure was a significantly lower benefit level being offered to people who have resided in Denmark for less than seven of the past eight years. Foreigners will also receive a financial incentive to learn the language. These were 'integration benefits'. Citizens who have lived outside of the EU (or country?) for seven of the past eight years were also subjected to the new rules. The purpose, to make Denmark a less attractive destination while making it more attractive to work and contribute to Danish society.  It reduced the flow in to a more manageable number.

I would sit on my door step, drinking ale, with my dogs, in front of my union jack painted door. Because this is England, and i would be doing NOTHING illegal. The thing is, Mexico is not in conflict for its people to seek asylum somewhere else. It is not good to just jump ship to any country and fight whoever so that you stay there. You struggled. You spent so much money on lawyers, when immigration laws don't approve of anyone going into US illegally and then file asylum. If a US citizen jumps ship to your country, would you declare that his presence there is illegal? US, Canada or any country wouldn't want that. A search of Wikipedia turned up a page for what's surely meant, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Border_Services_Agency. I know of Canadian border crossings (between Ca. and the US) so had normal exchanges with some customs officers, but I never knew the name of the agency (of the govt) that they worked for, so CBSA meant basically nothing to me. Otherwise, the overall report is fine, and such illegal immigration tactics must be stopped.

I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

And here I am watching this after I arrived home in the Philippines after a 2 years work permit and contract in Edmonton Alberta when my work permit renewal was rejected by immigration Canada and there is this fraud immigration thing. Well atleast I did my luck in an honest way rather than doing it the wrong way. I'd rather live a hard life here in the Philippines than living the Canadian dream illegally. I've spoken to a few who have been scammed by Canadian immigration lawyers in BC! Fortunately for them nothing illegal actually happened! In fact, nothing happened at all and the lawyers just took the money! Have to be very careful who one trusts.
