The niqab is SCARY. The burqa is scary. The first time I saw a woman wearing a black burqa head to toe it sent a cold chill right up my spine. The niqab is anti-women. It is NOWHERE in the Quran. BAN THE BURKA. BAN THE NIJAB. We do NOT WANT Islam in the west. It's why Christians and Jews are not immigrating to Arab countries. We do not want any part of your culture. It's is a culture of the 7th century. It is a culture of cavemen. Stay AWAY from us.

Maybe immigrants of colour would have an easier time if they actually acted like immigrants of past to this country, the Italians, Portuguese etc they came to Canada and they didn't ask for handouts like the ones who come these days from India, Sri Lanka etc who get on welfare. In the past they came with the intention of actually becoming Canadians and assimilating, the ones now come and all they want to do is create their own little old countries here in Canada.

I would very much like the muslims to tell us real Canadians what contributions that they are making to our country as a whole. How are they making life in Canada better? How are they bringing stability and growth to our country? They spend time teaching their silly little book to the people in their flock but nothing about Canada, our values, our hopes and aspirations for the country. The silly little book does nothing to further the common good of Canada. It only forwards the wants of the muslim community.\nAnd finally, religion is the bane of intellectual thought. No one and I mean no one, can know about the mind of a god that does not exist.

Canada I get it. You are super nice people, but if you can't recognize evil and are afraid to fight for your country you are going to lose it. I can see westerners being freaked out by the women who cover their face. I myself was like wtf when I seen a women with covered face for the first time back in northern Virginia, and I am from Ethiopia - a country that has a big Muslim population, more than 30%. We live among Muslims peacefully, because we respect our differences, but the ones back home do not really cover their face so I was not used to it. Really we should do better than creating differences, there is no better race or religion, all humans are the same, we all practice the 7 deadly sins religiously. and all the people commenting saying they hate Muslim and what it stand for, what religion are you because the Bible teaches compassion, it does not say to hate what you don't understand.

All of the people in the video trying to enforce sharia law should be removed from the country immediately, whether they're thrown into the middle of the ocean or back to whatever shitholes they came from, who gives a f*ck? Do you ever think British people could go to a muslim country (Such as UAE, Dubai, Pakistan) and tell the people that they have to follow British laws? No way! They would be dead in no time. While I understand the anxiety the Muslim woman in the video feels, her accent is as Canadian as it can be which tells me she probably was born in Canada or came here as an infant. She's obviously had enough time to assimilate. She either has or hasn't. If she has, she's being discriminated against for no other reason than that she's Muslim, which speaks to a mindset that is being espoused by Stephen Harper. When your leader says the things he's saying it doesn't speak well of the country. It would be more honest if he blocked all immigration of Muslims to Canada, but then the Muslims would really have a case if other nationalities were allowed in. Given Canada's small population they're kind of stuck.

I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? Islam claims to be religion of peace. Yes, they remain peaceful upon coming to west till the time they have enough numbers. That is when the real fun begins. it's about time Canada . either they live according to the culture of this country or they go back to where they came from , they get all the advantages that Canada gives them which they don't have in their own countries and they come hear to impose their religion and culture on us , plus terrorize us

My experience in Canada has been largely positive, with only minimal racial difficulties.  As a teenager, I do recall some kids making blatantly racist comments, when I was the only minority in the room; but they were silly girls, popular and full of themselves, and most of the students who heard did not laugh with them. We all knew it was wrong.  Another time I was told, by an agent, that a potential employer claimed she would not hire me because of my race.  I did not hear these words firsthand, though, so it was impossible for me to verify the truth. In the end, I let the matter alone. Other people,  I realize, have endured severe injustices; such have not been my experience, but this does not subtract from their reality.  Indeed, racism does exist, and shall remain as long as there are imbeciles wallowing in the mire of ignorance, people who cling to an absurd sense of superiority for lack of something more meaningful to hold.  As well--and it must be said!--quite likely, we all have, at some point, entertained discriminatory thoughts. 'Tis not a 'black and white' problem but a human one, and we must be mindful of it beginning with ourselves.  Canada, then, with its many inhabitants and complex history, will never be the exception. We can't expect perfection among people, here or anywhere else in the world.  Even so,  I believe there are enough fellow Canadians who strive to treat people as individuals and are happy to make friends across cultures.  My life has been and continues to be a testament to that!  Whatever our troubles, we still retain a proud heritage of diversity and progressive ethnic harmony.  We do try, and for this reason I love my country.  I am deeply patriotic and immensely proud to be part of it!
