They can't be fired no matter how bad the economy gets or how badly they perform their job. They are also guaranteed a generous retirement that private workers do not get. Well when you have tons of churches and downtown LA homeless shelters that give away free food, free clothes, free shoes ?, free blankets and tents free showers free beds GR , welfare, disability SSI and housing. California gives relief to other countries in an emergency they participate in funding and starting war. The United States has become one big embarrassment filled with nothing homeless people, mentally ill people, and soon newly-released convicts to your area walking around. Building tents and tiny homes defecating in the streets walking around naked.
