The people crossing into Canada illegally aren't refugee's. They stopped being refugee's when they came into the USA because they were then safe. They are picking and choosing with Canada. Ship them all back across the border to their own countries. They want to come to the USA then they can do it legally like the millions of others that have come before them.

Very sad for the refugees. Canada needs more people for low-paying jobs (farmhand, food delivery, cleaners etc). But the system isn't set up to fully utilize skilled workers. Refugees aren't allowed to find work so they just become a liability.

He was also well stable at home and was placed the highest you could be at the time in language and maths. \nIn high school in Canada, this AP American student, had to go to middle school for math. The Canadian school system didn’t offer algebra 2 above middle school. \n30 years. Do Both countries walk hand in hand thro troubles?! Well ,there it is than. I live in the Netherlands and as a Dutch I can tell you we pay also a lot of tax compared to our salary, but public facilities, healthcare, roads, buildings and almost everything else is insanely well arranged. But I wonder, I often see that salaries in the USA and Canada easily can be 80K-150K for 'normal' jobs........well in the Netherlands by far most people do not make 50K a year before tax. So if your are complaining in Canada that the taxes are so high, than there is no other explanation that in the basis goods/services/utility bills are much more expensive compared to your salary right? Great video, I really like this country explainers :) One day I will visit Canada for a nice holiday trip or so, we still have I believe some distant relatives from my grannies side but I am not sure, old people :)

It depends on your situation. If you have an advanced degree then you will make a lot more money in the United States and pay less in taxes. If you are single with no kids then many advantages of Canada disappear.
