The analysis about Healthcare is correct about demand being more than supply. But what is not really understood is that the Canadian rules make it that way, not lack of medical professionals. In other countries with national health care like UK, you can legally pay for extra care. In Canada, doctors are fined if they try to provide extra care or even want to work extra medical jobs. So you have to ration medical care and care is fixed, cannot grow or increase except by whatever the govt plans. Any additional care can only be obtained outside of Canada or else illegally/on the black market if in Canada.

one of my cousin is been living in canada for the past 20+years, about the healthcare, it is much worst even compared to countries like Pakistan or India, my cousin was suffering from renal kidney disease and he had to make a kidney transplant but he was not able to get on that surgery, first he was refused of getting any donor in canada and then finally when he arranged his own donor from Pakistan, they did not give the visa to the donor and finally my cousin had to travel all the way back to Pakistan and get his treatment done here, despite all this the Canadian government after all the rush never replied to a single email from my cousin or his donor and finally he had to take a huge risk of travelling miles back home!!so the healthcare in Canada really sucks big time...thumbs up for making this video!!best of luck!!happy holidays!

All countries have its issues but seeing some of these things make me worry for my best friend who plans on moving to Canada next year to live with his Canadian girlfriend and it makes me nervous cause he has no real game plan he is leaving his life and family in the states and just go somewhere new so not sure if he thinks it will be an easy transition. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Great video. The Us & Canada seem to be similarly alone when it comes to tax application. Sales taxes are applied the same way in both Canada & the US, on top of the sales price. This is shocking at first until you get used to it, if you ever do... income taxes are also similar, filing tax reports federally and in some cases by province or state. FYI, for folks with multiple jobs, one should be able to complete a tax form so their employer does not take the personal tax exemption. means lower pay but less surprise come tax time. Agree on employment & technology, seems like Canadians need to see new tech elsewhere before they adopt... and experience outside Canada not being counted is something many companies and governments here are looking to address, but the pace is slow

Note that in Canada the population is also concentrated along the edges in this case, along the US border. I think that something like 90% of Canadians live within 50 miles of the US border. Beyond that, it's not the Outback, it's more likethe tundra. Also, Canada has a lot of beautif spots, but the are far away from each other snd sometimes from the big cities. Most, if not all, immigrants have gone through rigorous English proficiency tests from reading, writing, speaking. Likewise most of the immigrants have high educational backgrounds, so they’re definitely proficient in English. They may not have the native speaker accent (just like yourselves) but I highly doubt they could be regarded as not being proficient in the English language. What’s the big deal about the English language by the way? among all of the languages, it’s the easiest to master. So I highly doubt that’s one of the real reasons. It’s more on the stupid “not having Canadian experience” thing. Which is really doesn’t make much sense. How would you expect most immigrants to have Canadian work experience? This backwards thinking is among the reason why Canada is lagging compared to other global countries. Only Canada has this rule. That way, it’s limiting its chances of getting the best talents from every part of the world. Because of this rule, highly skilled immigrants are forced to work jobs that doesn’t require technical skills just to pay the bills, until they got fed up for not being able to get jobs according to their high skills and eventually leave Canada for the US.

It's an exaggeration to say that Canadians are all collectivist. That's true for certain regions, say Quebec and the Maritime provinces, but less so for Ontario and the Western provinces. Even amongst the general population, it depends on one's ideological leaning, as in leftwing (socialist) vs more right-wing (capitalist). Canadians are diverse ideologically as well as racially/ethnically. I suspect ypur perceptions about Canada are somewhat influenced by the fact that you've spent most of your time in large urban centres like Toronto and Montreal, which tend to be quite leftist politically compared to more conservative regions like Southwestern Ontario and the West.

Living in different places gives a broader view on society and helps understanding that nowhere is perfect. I think that immigrants' frustration primarly comes from the fact that we do not make enough research on what to expect when moving. You should write down pros and cons on moving, make sure you understand what are the most important things for you and check if that new country provides that. Watching videos like yours is a great way to start. It really comes down to what you want from life and if you are willing to adapt to achieve it. \nOn the other hand, Canadians' frustration might come from the fact that they never lived anywhere else :)\nAs for my top three things that disapoint me the most: Healthcare, Housing, Technology.

I think something worth mentioning is the quality of food sold here. It is pricey and low quality, especially fresh produce and fruit - much of it picked unripe in central America and shipped thousands of km to be sold on Canadian grocery shelves. If you're in a hurry, it's difficult to find an inexpensive and healthy option, like in many other countries. Your selection is largely limited to TIm Hortons and other fast food chains, which don't generally offer nutritious choices.

Please stop making Canada sound like 'the frozen north'. Any educated person knows that this is a 'Seasonal' country. Our summers reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times and we can actually sunburn while sun tanning on these days. We water-ski, swim, boat and sail, golf, gold-pan, hike, bicycle, Motorcycle, camp, picnic, fish, sky-dive, drive, shop, tap for Maple syrup and thoroughly enjoy our Springs and Summers like any other normal person and country. Our Autumn's are glorious as leaves turn crimson and gold, with picking all kinds of fresh fruit, canning jars of produce, carving pumpkins for Hallowe'en, making and tasting wines. Our Winters, loved, with some of the best ski resorts in the world; skating rinks--Our skaters won Gold in the Olympics and some of the best Hockey teams, who have also won Olympic Gold, come from Canada. We still toboggan, go on sleigh rides, ice swim, build snowmen and make the occasional Snow Angel, just for fun. We have learned to deal with winter snows--they're called Snowplows, which are abundant and whose operators are extremely efficient! AND, we have miles and miles and miles of uninhabited land--a rare treasure now-a-days! We are Canadian and we love it!!????

Most Canadian citizens & the immigrants in Canada after getting Canadian PR using it as a gateway to America, they're actually moving to a better country like USA America. Not going back to their home countries like India, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Nigeria, Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Phillipines, Vietnam, Venuzvela, Colombia etc.. Most either move to US apply for a work visa & Green Card for citizenship. It was obvious right from the start that this was just a set-up to make Canada look better. It came across as biased to get the desired outcome. I like Canada and Canadians but you do love to pat yourself on the back. I've lived in 6 places in the USA including Alaska and have been to Canada many times and have Canadian friends and neighbors here in the Arizona where I live now. Despite what you hear, most places are very safe here. All in all, I would still prefer to live in the USA.

So this sounds like a Made in India problem....I'm not quite sure why Canada is doing the soul searching on this one. Although yes, the Canadian colleges need to wise up as well and diminish the demand if all is not above board.

Life in Canada is isolating, lonely, depressing. People are very closed and guarded, many are snobby, elitist and passive aggressive. It is not an amazing place as it is umfriendly, gray, damp and cold most of the time. The bigger cities got hordes of meth heads and mentally ill vagrants who pollute downtown areas. Canadians like to hole up in their apartments or houses and escape into smoking weed and video games. Many young men can't get girlfriends as the women are stuck up, unapproachable or just plain wrong for long term relationship. 80% of the women chase the 15% alpha males and complain constantly that they can't get a decent guy. Oh and yes, taxes are socialist paradise high. The more you earn the more you are taxed, thus removing the incentive of even trying. Too many laws and regulations hamper development. After your family doctor retires forget finding another. Forget getting medical care unless you got a life threatening issue and even then you might just go south of the border and pay your way.\nI could go on and on, but frankly I don't care. It's a lot easier to move. It's just my opinion, because, supposedly it's a free country. However, a country is only as free as it's people and many Canadians love the prison they created.

I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

Slavery, residential schools and now exploitation of international students, Canada passively supports these things. Some PR campaign, acknowledgment and apology will solve everything. It’s a Canadian thing it seems.
