I'm Kenyan and I have never gotten bored of my country...in fact I haven't even explored half of it. Here everyday is a day in paradise.

The 1 problem with our health care is the fact that(no matter what your income) everyone is EQUAL? I thought equality was a good thing?

Born and raised here to immigrant parents. Everything that you shared is straight facts with one exception. Depending on the work you do you earn more than 2 weeks vacation. Starting out is usually 2-3 weeks but as you gain seniority/experience you earn more days/or weeks. A previous job I had after working there for 7 years, I earned 6 weeks vacation that I could take anytime throughout the year. When I started I had 2 weeks after a year it went to 3 etc. It depends on the job and experience. Everything else you shared though is 100% true. I've been advised it's best to have more than 1 citizenship for these many reasons.

Straight facts about old age homes. They want this, everything is in the hands of the establishment. They want you there from preschool to old age. They get you into the old age home and funnel out your pension. Its about retrieving those funds. Just look at what companies like black rock and vanguard is doing. Buying single families homes and building hosing for retirees because it completes the cycle. They run the pension funds and not they are getting the rent from them. Money is following out of families rather than into families.

No wonder my friend from Canada doesn’t see any essence of going back. He is enjoying life in Kenya, fact that his wife is black and Kenyan. I see them visiting for thanksgiving and that’s it, they always come back to the motherland.

U.K. health care is struggling a lot too that’s a fact.

Hi ladies. These are exactly the same situation here in the UK. I have been living in London since 1986 and surviving over here especially for those just arriving can be so frustrating. I often wonder why so many of our people are still struggling to come and live in these countries. I know you speak about the USA being better however I have a numbers of family and friends living in America and they are complaining about how hard you have to work in order to make ends meet. The answer to that could be the fact that many immigrants especially from Africa don't feel safe in their own home countries and bad leaders who continually fail to provide any opportunities for their youths and citizens. Thanks for sharing this vital information as many people think these western countries are paradise until they arrive and face the bare realities.

Wow, I’ve learned a lot about Canada that I didn’t know and I’ve visited Vancouver for one day while vacationing in Seattle WA 20+ years ago. One day most certainly isn’t enough time to get the feel of a place and most definitely not when considering to relocate. I’ve learned not to consider any place for relocation that I couldn’t visit beforehand like I did before relocating to the west coast from the east coast: the world was a friendlier place believe it or not than it is now. ?\n\nConversely, things definitely change over time especially when you’re younger, but I can attest without reservation that people ultimately make a place period: unless you’re a hermit. In fact, we’re looking to relocate at this time and the first priority of consideration is the friendliness of the people wherever that may be, but the world is rapidly changing and not for the better from my perspective. ?\n\nQUESTION EVERYTHING: What Is The Truth (WITT)??? ?. After reading the comments it's funny how people still thinks where you are born or your country origin is home. Imagine thinking that's the definition of home to begin with, sometimes I Just shake my head when I see people using such content to define home. Home dosen't necessarily have to be your country origin or whatsoever. I personally would define home as anywhere with the best of contents I seek along with my Characteristics being blended. \nAlso I don't get why people are criticizing those who said they won't come back, they have there various reasons for moving abroad, it might be for a better life, academic, security and lots other stuffs. If they wanna go back to there home country then good and fine but if they wanna stay and migrate, it's also Good. Migration has always been a thing right from the time of Abraham so in essence allow those who wants to migrate to migrate, they are not the cause of your problems or to why your home country has bad governance. If you don't like the fact that they are migrating or not wanting to go back to there home town then simply ignore them, no need to act bitchy about it, Gosh!

Hmmm interesting to say that cos the world's population review 2022 Canada did not make it to the 10 most expensive countries to live in. Get your facts and figures right. The cost of living  is the money needed to sustain a certain comfort level in a location. The cost of living covers basics like housing, groceries, taxes, and healthcare. Some countries have a very high cost of living particularly in areas surrounding large cities. For example, in the USA cities like New York and San Francisco have a very high cost of living, while areas such as rural Mississippi,  Kansas or Oklahoma  may be notably more affordable . Moreover, no matter where in the U.S. (or the world) one lives, costs may be lower still—or even higher—in another country. Some nations have a very low cost of living. Canada is still one of the world's best countries to live in.

Why don't you guys move to Africa where you will see abundance of black people, or go to Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Philippines where Asians can feel accommodated, come to Nigeria where you will pay almost 40% if your salary as direct tax and many other indirect taxes and VATs to be paid from your Lilliput salary which doesn't have hope if growing, where your tax is being squandered by the leaders and not a single infrastructure is built, come to Nigeria and come and see super queue at hospitals, schools, banks etc that are not even used by the leaders, even if you school outside Nigeria you don't have automatic employment until you write the exams or your profession in which you have to study for, maybe you ladies should come back to Africa, you better appreciate where God gives you the opportunity to have a meaningful life, 80% if Africans are not even average but far below average yet you are complaining of living a simple average life, are all Americans billionaires, our brains have been destroyed that we believe until we are billionaire before we ate successful or fulfilled, in Nigeria only government gives you one month leave but private organization only gives two weeks in a year and the private organizations are the largest employer of labor in Nigeria. All those reasons are totally invalid, in fact Canada suits my nature

My biggest takeaway from this video is the fact that the most intellectually sound person was the young Ghanaian lady..this is a problem that I have noticed first hand as a Nigerian that does travel globally that a lot of Nigerians lack sound logical reasoning..while managing its numerous challenges Nigeria as a country and a society has a lot of work to do rebuilding the intellectual fabric of our society..

One of the problem is that the doctors and other medical professionals use the low costs educational systems in Canada to get an education and then promptly leave for the US. Taxes are high in Canada. But try paying 20,000 to 25,000 to buy health insurance for a family of three. And you go to hospital for a week and end up with $125,000. Bill. When you consider the cost of education and medical. In the US where you paying high health insurance, you wait 8 hours in ER. I think most immigrants are too disgruntled. Many of them.move to Us and regret it. Sometimes, we want to come into Canada and look to get rather than contribute. Where in the US are seniors getting old age pension. Where in us is there a year maternity leave. This video is not based on facts. In Canada taxes are high because you have low education and health costs. Children are taken of though monthly child allowance, etc. Decent health care. Well go because millions are standing by. I would like to see your statistics. The older people do leave but why would you count them as departures.

Well I hope you two young and beautiful ladies stick with Canada. \n\nI will say you might be a little off when you say that in the USA you will be paid more and can become richer. The fact is the US has the highest inequality among wealthy nations. And the worst health care, they place 20 out of 20 in the OECD. So wages and getting rich I disagree with, and cost of goods are on par....however housing is still cheaper and that is a big one. \n\nDue to the massive immigration we are experiencing here (too fast imo) it plays a big factor in health care degradation and wait times etc. The government was slow to respond to the fact when you add 300 000 people a year to Ontario it will require more health care providers. \n\nAnd don't forget it was the taxes my ancestors paid that provided the buildings you now enter for health and school etc. It seems that is seldom thought of by new comers. You started the video with an opinion not a fact. You can In fact gain wealth here. You have access to RRSPs and tax Free Savings accounts to help with Taxea for people earning over 6 figures. No one has tries to take your money, the policies are clear as day. You also have access to the Canadian stock market where they will allow you to keep 50% of your excess and tax the other 50%. Your statement needs way more context and a broader discussion. Stil love the video but we need to state all the facts. Canada business system prefers the big franchises businesses that have millions of dollars. If you have a small shop or restaurant get beaten by the big corporations that has franchises. the food costs are high and when selling u just cant sell for a better profit that can actually make you money. The Chinese and Indians knows how to sell little many items at a low cost just to be on a very tinny profitable way to keep on going. The Multi big paying makes money in Canada not the small business immigrants come and create. Those business don't built wealth because the big corporations are pushed by the Gov more in creating jobs and paying the big corporate taxes that in turn the taxes help support the social programs for those that cant work and also providing the basic needs to those that needs it through the taxes paid. In many African states many of the individual business that strife and create wealth because there isn't too much huge corporations that competes with this small business like the first world nations. In SA for example we have seen an explosion of many migrants going there creating small business and striving better than they will be in Canada. The taxes are high in Canada that's true u cant be rich sorry u will work until you lose your hair f not your hair turns white in a very short time due to too much stress and worries. Canada is good for social programs it takes care off those that don't' work if you work forget about getting rich but supporting those that don't work through the allocated taxes. Canada and the first world nations supports Big corporation and Franchising not really a fan of small business even when they are here they just don't create huge profits to think they will make it. In fact when the economy falls those shops easily shut down entirely and when they do reopen they barely make profits. I have seen Nigerian, Ghanaian small shops with Ethiopian and Jamaican business.

I agree you did a good job girls on your presentation. To be fair to you, you were just interrogating the reasons why people leave Canada. ? And since you did not tell us whether you will leave Canada or not I will not query you. Since facts are facts but every person's decision it definitely subject and circumstances may be relative. Canada is ranked among the 5 best places in the world. If you compare that to yours, you may not have any qualms about Canada at all.

This video may aimed to build awareness on fact about Canada as you both saw it but researching things about why things are the way they are would have been more informative than what sound basic and speculative and not absolutely hung on facts like when Canada provide World class infrastructure at bear minimum cost is directly the trade off on earnings. Certain service oriented employment are not big earners and for immigrants that are non professionals it is not the right country to migrate to after you did so now you are doing the first work after you find yourself there. Pls research and inform immigrants of a well paying jobs in Canada and you just got yourself a winner.

It's easier and faster to get your papers in Canada than the US which means you can start working your way back to your original profession. The fact that Canada is immigrant friendly and has a large immigrant population makes it easier for one to go into any profession with your Nigerian certificates and a little more Canadian education. As a lawyer, I'm yet to meet a Nigerian trained lawyer who got a job in a top firm in the US. It's probably easier in Canada

Immigrating to Canada to seek greener pasture is abracadabra. The fact is when you made an important decision that fails, you escalate your commitment to that decision. That’s why many can’t go back home, while others seek migration elsewhere. By and large, Canada is a lovely country where you don’t have people killing each other by the minutes. Like you said, it’s a tradeoff and it’s either you go to the US where you are 10 times likely to become homicide victim, but have much better occupational mobility and opportunities or you choose Canada where there’s peace and tranquillity, but low occupational mobility and limited opportunities.

I haved lived in Ontario Albert and Saskatchewan. My favorite was Albert sad we moved but I'm happy where I live now witch is manitoba. Those many be the facts about Manitoba I love it here winters are not that bad and people here are so friendly you get treated like family and were I live in Manitoba it's like everyone knows everyone to me it's safe and home.

This is the reality we face after the excitement of moving to Canada fades off. The worst for me is the fact that you get this 'big job' that pays well and after it all, govt has a way of redistributing it. It's really frustrating and it discourages some people for looking for higher paying jobs bcos at the end, govt still takes it. Even the territories have a warm summer, so how can the PROVINCES be as cold as you describe in the introduction? The rest of your video says that only the territories, Saskatchewan in winter, and the city of Winnipeg in winter, are insanely cold. Maybe change your absurd introduction? Cold winters are not exclusive to Canada, and you need to stop propagating that myth. In fact, the coldest I've ever been in my life was in either New York or Minneapolis! U got some facts wrong like Quebec being the most historical place in Canada. Newfoundland is actually more historical as st.johns was established in 1497 and Quebec city over 100 years later being established in 1608. Come on bro ? and newfoundland used to be it own country until we lost all our young men in world War one and our economy crashed. Now Canada takes advantage of our waters and our oil. Ffs.

For me this is fear. They are afraid to relate to each other, because people do not trust anyone. To me, America is a pressure cooker waiting to burst. In fact, the United States is the most dangerous country for the security of the planet, it has all the necessary ingredients to start a war at stratospheric levels. Not bad, Ive lived and worked in most provinces and this is very accurate, fun fact whenever Im driving across the country in the winter when going through Winnipeg I only use full services gas stations. And thats coming from someone who works in the oil fields of northern Alberta, Grande Prairie to be more specific where it regularly reaches minus -40

Let's not forget the fact that houses are made with cardboard. I came from a 3rd world country and never had this issue surprisingly. But unless you have a detached house, you can hear everything your neighbors say and do - there's zero privacy. I'm surprised this is even legal honestly. This might be what I dislike most about Canada. I'm paying almost $2000 per month and still have to listen to neighbors get intimate, argue, play music and everything else. Houses are built very cheaply here.
