I do have one query though - I have had a company of my own for the past 10 years (a film production company) in which I have been a managing director and also worked as a writer, director, producer etc. Since this isn't a traditional job with a regular salary, would it be ineligible as work experience under CRS? Would it be considered as being self-employed?

That's not being racist it's based on facts and a big cause of the unemployment problem in Canada because Canada born citizens can't even get jobs at Walmart anymore and most of the Walmart employees barely speak English if they do speak the language at all. My local Walmart for example was 100% locals and students from the local college but a year and a half ago they laid off all but 6 locals who were managers and shift leaders and hired all immigrants who don't even live in the area. And skip the dish isn't any better all the drivers in my area actually live in Brampton and Toronto but delivery food 2-3 hours away from home and I'm pretty sure that's actually why covid keeps spreading.

I have been bullied and made fun of by Chinese Canadians in high school. And now people think I am Chinese, how ridiculous. Unfortunately people's bias is built out of direct or indirect experience of not just one, but multiple occurrence that experience causes us to either be cautious or paranoid. It isn't something that happened out of the blue our experience can condition our mind to think a certain way, but not necessarily our hearts.
