Apparently, some companies in China literally market the fact that Canadians receive subsidized education and healthcare to pregnant women. These women go deliver in Canada, return to China and 18 years later send their kids to receive subsidized university education, on the expense of Canadian tax payers (which their parents never were)!

Very good video, I wish I knew it all in 2014! Taxes, OMG this was such a nasty surprise when my grocery bill was higher than what I saw on a price tag. Funny that a lot of this is true in Switzerland as well. Switzerland hates overachievers but values team work. Always respect your team, help and be polite are absolute dealbreakers. Please stop making Canada sound like 'the frozen north'. Any educated person knows that this is a 'Seasonal' country. Our summers reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times and we can actually sunburn while sun tanning on these days. We water-ski, swim, boat and sail, golf, gold-pan, hike, bicycle, Motorcycle, camp, picnic, fish, sky-dive, drive, shop, tap for Maple syrup and thoroughly enjoy our Springs and Summers like any other normal person and country. Our Autumn's are glorious as leaves turn crimson and gold, with picking all kinds of fresh fruit, canning jars of produce, carving pumpkins for Hallowe'en, making and tasting wines. Our Winters, loved, with some of the best ski resorts in the world; skating rinks--Our skaters won Gold in the Olympics and some of the best Hockey teams, who have also won Olympic Gold, come from Canada. We still toboggan, go on sleigh rides, ice swim, build snowmen and make the occasional Snow Angel, just for fun. We have learned to deal with winter snows--they're called Snowplows, which are abundant and whose operators are extremely efficient! AND, we have miles and miles and miles of uninhabited land--a rare treasure now-a-days! We are Canadian and we love it!!????

I pity those who immigrated to this country with great hopes. You must be sure that you cannot live a prosperous life in the cold and darkness. Also, Canada is a poor country trying to hide its poverty.

My question, and I know I'm gonna get eaten alive, is why so many Indians? What about people from the rest of the world? Canada feels like India these days. I would like to see more diversity. Also, Canada needs to do better about making sure there's more diversity in its numbers. Also, Canada needs to ensure colleges don't charge so much more. That's how people are in Toronto, they will say something. Not in Vancouver, people will not say anything at all. Canadians are very different from the east coast and the west coast. I will also say that people in the WC are way more prejudiced.

It seems some events in Australia have angered you and now the Canada option is being viewed through rose-coloured glasses. Surprised you didn't try other cities in Australia first, I really like Perth but would find it challenging to live there. Anyway, proof will be in the the pudding. Everything has a price to pay, if you struggle in college, whatever the reason may be, living away from family, being alone, whatever the reason is. This is a price we have to pay for a successful future. Also, parents who really want to send their kids abroad, send them to good tier 1 European countries, Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc., US and Canada is just a slaughterhouse, the amount of money spent on a child's education there is unhealthy, universities in Germany are free, and the living expenses also aren't as expensive as US or Canada, had i known about Germany before I applied to US universities, i wouldve saved my parents a lot of money
