This is your opinion author. The thing is same everywhere. You can make joy everywhere you want. You can make friends.. good neighbours... it is totally up to you. I want to leave my home country bcs of low salary, corruption, no gas, no electricity in winter... I live in a small town in Ontario with not many immigrants. I always hear people in the media or politics talking about minority groups and wonder if people from other places feel set apart. I find it a real challenge mentally to not think about it if I see someone who looks different from me…. Like it weighs on my mind, but meanwhile I just want to treat people the same… I think everyone who comes to Canada legally should feel like a part of the country. I’m tired of identity politics that separates more than brings together. Absolutely brother! I am from \nIndia and recently moved to Canada as a PR. Previously I was in US as a student and lived close to my university. So there were always people especially students around. But in Canada I am living in a residential area and it is as depressing as you showed in your video. There is nobody around. Just quiet everywhere like a cemetery. I dont think I can survive here for too long. Moving back to India ASAP!

It was obvious right from the start that this was just a set-up to make Canada look better. It came across as biased to get the desired outcome. I like Canada and Canadians but you do love to pat yourself on the back. I've lived in 6 places in the USA including Alaska and have been to Canada many times and have Canadian friends and neighbors here in the Arizona where I live now. Despite what you hear, most places are very safe here. All in all, I would still prefer to live in the USA.

It seems some events in Australia have angered you and now the Canada option is being viewed through rose-coloured glasses. Most people move to Canada and want to live in America North, Toronto, well Toronto has become like any US city, plenty of open daytime shootings, most of Canada would vote to remove the GTA from Canada, I personally love it in Toronto, wouldnt live there but I do like to visit.

It made me really sad to hear stories like this when I went to school. We had 3 Indian students in our class and I became good friends with one of them. He was 16K in debt with the recruiter that sent him here, and was expected to pay for his brothers upcoming wedding. His dad used to be a farmer but he was disabled now so his parents couldnt contribute anything. He worked 3 jobs and lived in a house crammed with 6 international students. He is now back in India and married with a beautiful baby, but I dont know if he has paid down that debt. I worry about him

I have recently (and over the years) lived in many provinces. And even though I am from there (most recently 2021), Alberta has no business being anywhere near the top of the list. No one I know makes a paycheck like that and they all work 2-3 jobs to make less than what is reported. Education is low to terrible in most places outside a city, as is healthcare. The summers are either too cold or too hot and dry, and the winters are too cold, too snowy and too windy. \nIt also doesn't help most people are angry and racist. \n\nBut it was a fun interesting list nonetheless!

International students are fine, but the issue begins when those students later apply to the country’s jobs. People living in the country need a place to work and it’s impossible if international students use their degrees to get a job in that country. Getting an international education really just means that you wanna move out of your home country and work/live somewhere else ?‍♂️. People do zero research before applying to an international college and are forced to live like dirt.

I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

How can the government support 500,000 immigrants a year when statistics show immigrants haven't been able to reach a decent level of economic integration since 2003? This is especially concerning if the government wants to bring people to cover dead-end jobs with minimum wage, part-time schedules, no rights and no benefits, or programmes like the live-in care giver or seasonal workers that put vulnerable people in legal slavery. As a Canadian living in Japan it’s so obvious to see what a very very wrong policy looks like as Japan gets poorer and poorer and it’s pension slowly but surely erodes. You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

Well I already left the Canada last year after having lived for 5 years. I am in my early 30s , south asian immigrant. I had a good paying job. I left because more so because of the social isolation and the pandemic measures. Plus I feel most Canadians may seem polite , but not friendly as in - extremely hard to make friends. Ethnic groups stick to themselves and don't mix. I found dating to be extremely hard and toxic. People have high individualistic mentality and don't open up.\n\nI am now in working in Mexico / Latin America and my mental health has greatly improved. I am able to socialize and women here aren't as stuck up as in Canada. Real world interactions are valued here unlike in Canada where it's all about the apps and social media. Also who doesn't like some good consistent sunshine. Overall , I am happy to have left Canada and am not coming back.
