Isn’t it interesting how Muslims seem to always want to move to Christian countries? The question is - why don’t they move to Islamic countries? I will tell you - it is because the west is open and free. They come to these countries and take over. They have no intention of assimilation! Islamic beliefs are NOT compatible with western values. This is an invasion!

It seems the Red Hen owner does not read her own signs...

seemly...canada just welcome radical refugees...if you are muslim from middle east.ex isis..then canada will give you status with speedy process of immigration for landed immigrant\nthats the reason why you can find a bunch of arab immigrants from middle east like afghanistan somalia bosnia iraq sudan ,syiriah

Why the hell after all this time, it seems that he cannot or will not English. Please stay in Canada. We do not want your kind in this country. You illegals think that you deserve to be in front of people who are doing the right thing to get citizenship. Go to the back of the line.

People who can't speak the national language shouldn't be moving to another country especially not illegally. I can't feel sorry for this guy. I mean sure he's probably had a rough time but having kids and then trying to illegally immigrate just doesn't seem like the right way to try to live life especially not to raise a child in. \n\nIf you want to better yourself and your family learn the language and properly apply for a visa and come work here and contribute. Show Canada that your a worthy addition and eventually you can legally immigrate here. Trying to sneak in and avoid being deported isn't the way to go and it will never help your family in the long run.

Also the United States is responsible for a lot of things that go on in that country. It seems that our government can’t stop meddling where it doesn’t belong. Infecting their people with stds , only to study them . That gang responsible for all the violence...courtesy of the United States. A lot of Americans retire to Latin America, due to the high cost of living here. So it’s fair to say that there is a problem on both sides of the border.

I’m really not concerned about this person or his family being a threat to Canada. They aren’t refugees needing asylum. That said if they come legally.........welcome to Canada. He seems capable of working and wants to work. We can’t take in the entire Central American population. We can take some though. I would much rather have him and his family immigrate here than the Syrian refugees that refuse to work. Refuse to fit in and despise us.

Why put all that money for a lawyer he should of stayed in his country and made a difference their! He hasn’t seemed to make much effort in becoming a citizen he don’t even speak French or English! 15000 is a fortune in his country why didn’t he build something in his country better!
2018-06-21 29
Not sure what's the problem. Stay in your country with the $15,000. until you get documentation, why do people seem so surprised by the outcome?

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

Very sad, seems like a good guy ,that puts family first.

Seems like a fake story. 15 years in america and you can't speak english? I know many refugees but they all picked up english quick
2018-06-11 0
The way they presented it didn't seem convincing at all. The reporter saying there are very few of these men and the heads of the local mosques have nothing to do with this. You must be joking. Even if they are few what are you waiting for, them to increase? Ridiculous.
2018-06-09 0
Why do we need Muslims? What benefits do we get from their presence in our society? It seems to be all cost and no benefit so I have no idea why the government allowed them to come here.

I'll lay it out for you: Me: typical middle of the road liberal oriented Canadian. Non white, immigrant (I wasnt born here) I worked in a Refugee housing for over 4 years in Ontario. Most were not war areas refugees (Yes I know there are other types of refugees). I only encountered few refugees from war areas. ONLY 1 person from Iraq, about 2 families were from Afghanistan, 1 couple from Pakistan(I doubt they were real refugees they spoke fluent English, maybe political refugee), and a most from African countries. Its too far for real refugees to get here. Its Easier for them to go to other countries nearby or Europe. MOST SEEM TO BE ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Most were coming from Africa. Some are coming from Latin America, which shouldn't be happening. Once they showed up at our doorstep and we processed them into the system, they were immediately in the same class as a Canadian resident homeless person if they were making a refugee claim. We get money to house and feed them (from the government), and they are given a stipend for basics from the government processed through the Social Assistance/ Welfare system (they get less than a resident/citizen I think.). They then have to get their case processed by the refugee board, and most seem to get in. I've only heard of few getting sent back. One person I know at our facility, was given a subsided social housing apartment after a year in our facility. So they went straight from a shelter to a government/city owned subsidized apartment. (Didn't seem like it was a issue for the housing worker...they didn't report it (if they were not the ones that helped the person to get it), they were white, the housed person was Latin. This refugee claimant, and then month or two new Canadian resident person was given an apartment in a prime area of the city, instead of the 1000's of Canadians, those who came before them, and born Canadian citizens on an extremely long waiting list. How this was allowed to happen I don't know. The person was probably sucking on someone's straw. I'm just trying to think the barriers these people have to go through to get a job here. We are far removed from the time of the 80's and 90's., and housing and jobs are so hard to get. Lol the "Canadian government asks them to repay the traveling cost to Canada if they are sent back"....I wonder how much the government recoups?.....more like 0 probably. What a bunch of crap. How do you demand someone to repay their flight cost when they get back to their country?

Honestly it doesn't seem like she has a legit affiliation with a charity.

Black people are the only people on earth, since the dawn of time, who have felt the need, because of their non-existent history of accomplishment, who have resorted to stealing the racial identities of ancient people so as to try to make it seem that they actually accomplished something. It's the most pathetic thing ever.

I agree with a lot of the things said in the comments. He didn't properly look into what is required for refugee status and came illegally so shouldn't receive preferential treatment. However, his not speaking English...where could he go to learn as an illegal immigrant? And likely he had to work long hours to save money for lawyers, etc. The language thing to me seems a bit harsh. He may even know passable English, but the reporters may have wanted the interviews to go more smoothly and so spoke in his native language.

the white woman who had aprefrence for african american seemed so upset.

If these Muslim women do harm to you, you can not identify them because not only is their hair covered, even their faces are covered. I personally feel uneasy when I am with individuals whose faces and heads are covered up whatever their religion is. They can see my face and hair fully but I can not identify them because they hide their faces, hair and whole body behind the nikab and hijab and burka. It seems as if they are always undercover or involved in something covert because they hide their faces and cover their whole body ,What you see are only their eyes. It is very disconcerting. If these Muslims want to practice their religion freely without anybody telling them off, they should live in MUslim countries and not in Canada, Europe and USA where society is mostly secular with Judeo-Christian heritage.

He doesn’t seem all that oppressed to me. Nice car, dressed in nice clothes, employed.

Instead of trying to skirt the system and the legal process, he may have had a better chance just doing things legally in the first place. It says he spent 15 years in the US illegally before sneaking into Canada, then he spent how long there trying to find loopholes by claiming all of these bogus circumstances? I sympathize with the guy, but I also can't ignore his mistakes and what has happened as a direct result of him trying to game the system. His actions have affected his family, and he seems to blame everyone else but himself.

For a bird to fly the left-wing must work with the right-wing in unison the left-wing doesn't seem to be working very well right now. That is probably why the bird is falling out of the sky. I think the right wing is giving the left wing the bird.

I mean...he’s a pretty hard worker from what I see...I sure hope his papers are approved. He seems to be the type to get further educational training if he could still feed his family at the same time. Best of luck to him!

RE: Canadian healthcare, my wife broke both her hips in 2017 in two separate falls, she was admitted immediately to hospital without delay and operated on the next day (half hip replacement), after physio and occupational therapy she was discharged and provided Homecare, 16 times per week plus weekly Day Hospital. Our cost for both operations was roughly $160.00 for parking spots for me so I could visit her and about $140 in Tim Horton doughnuts for staff. The system does not have enough of certain types of specialists thus wait times for those specialists, and there are wait times for elective surgery. The system has not really been reviewed since its inception in the 1960s but making significant changes is the third rail of Canadian politics and a hard look is justified after 70 years. Re: illegal crossings; The gentleman in the video has a problem in that the US and Canada have signed a “safe country” agreement and neither will accept refugees from the other as both Canada and the US are deemed “safe havens”. He crossed illegally, if he had crossed legally he would have been immediately turned back at the border but he clearly entered the country between border crossings and was likely arrested and released on recognizance but not returned immediately as the agreement is silent on illegal entries (yes, seems a touch strange). As many people are leaving the US for Canada the system is overwhelmed. Tent cities have been set up in Quebec and public housing used in Manitoba to house illegal immigrant pending processing - those with criminal records are held for deportation. Canada has accepted roughly 25,000 Syrian refugees from camps in that part of the world. These refugees were first vetted by the UN then Canada. These refugees are completely different from the people crossing the border illegally from the United States. This pales to the 75,000 boat people accepted after the fall of Saigon. Canadians have been generally accepting of refugees but wants the process guided by the rule of law. Immigrants are a separate from refugees and the rules governing their entries into Canada are different.

The only Blacks allowed to live in Canada are those that are from the Caribbean Islands as part of North America and the Royals as Knights of Canada who are Black Indians as Métis and they are the famous Singers in Toronto and also famous Hollywood Actors. Nobody else is allowed to be here except Black Americans but they never are here in Canada. The only time we ever had African Americans in Canada were the ones using the Underground Railroad to escape Slavery in southern USA from English Slave traders in the South. They were here in Toronto in 1814 and stayed for 13 months and then left again as it is too cold here for Africans and they got help to avoid Andrew Jackson and his slave traders to escape back to Africa to the Ivory Coast. That is the only real Black African History of Canada. There is no other. The people in this video are all Arab Fakers shaped to look African Canadian. We had ?? Jamaicans living here in Toronto as temporary refugees because of mob takeover in Kingston Jamaica. That was done on Judgement Day as they all as he'd. The mob there were Nigerian Scammers who were part of the script to take over the King's Town against the Royals. On occasion there were Lawyers studying here in Toronto from Trinidadand Tobago who are very nice and I met a couple one at the Crown Attorneys Office where I worked and I befriended her and she is Court Justice in Trinidad when needed. And the other is from Tobago and she worked as the lawyer at the law firm where Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams worked as the real lawyer in the TV series Suits filmed in Toronto. It was too dangerous though for her to work with the walking bomb clones of Megan Markle and Sarah Rafferty coming in to the office so she left and I had to take over her role as the Black Lawyer in Suits so by Season 3 I had to take over almost completely but she did a lot of the lawyering scenes and really deserves the credit as a really good lawyer who us real. She won the Emmy and deserved it as the only Female Black Actress to win any Award ever. So congratulations to her as a great Actress. We tried to keep t manipulation of Megan Markle to a minimum but dud include what she was attempting to do off camera to get into Harvard Law to one up Patrick J Adams who she discredited as a Harvard Law Graduate. She was always a problem for the Crown Attorneys in particular him as her target. I was targeted by her as well when studying at UofT and so I know from her behaviour off camera the real nastiness she has as Arab of Dubai toward us as Royals as Canadians. It really is a hatred and jealousy. Unfortunately the Arabs are War Criminals of being unknown largely as part of WWII so their animosity seems to be modern but it really is a very long standing Jealousy of Jesus. Anyway all of the real Caribbean Islanders all passed Judgement on Judgement Day and God brought them home to the Islands. Queen of Canada ? Royal Chieftain of Indians of America ?? who is Métis

He seems like an honest and good guy who just wants to provide for his family and ensure a better future and life for them. I can respect that fully and I admire that greatly.\n\nBut a big HA!! to all those looney liberals who don't know anything about Canada and think that everyone has it so much better over in the north. I'm from the U.S. and I LOVE both the U.S. and Canada, I do. Besides its looney lefty politics, Canada has some beautiful places to see, especially in British Columbia for me. However, Canada is just like the rest of the world; they have their problems, they have their crime, they have their poor and they have STRICT IMMIGRATION policies.

Trudeau was a panderer, he has lost all respect with everyone in Canada. And now it seems with people he petitioned to defend. Peoplekind would be better off without him. I voted for him because I believe in what he said, now I realize that his fathers name was his biggest asset and he is a pretty terrible PM. I'm not going to leave my morals behind and vote PC, but I won't vote for him again.
2018-03-07 0
He illegally enters the U.S., doesn't seem to understand why ICE wants to deport him.  So he illegally enters Canada and doesn't seem to understand why they want to deport him.  So instead he plays the system by moving about to get his case 'put to the bottom of the pile' to cheat yet MORE time to stay in Canada illegally.  Then when he gets told 'NO', he changes up and says he no longer in any danger of returning but now it's humanitarian.  Time to pack up and move back to El Salvador and turn your home country into what you want it to be.

This is a sad story for this poor guy and I feel sorry for him.But how can anyone live in a country for more than 15 years and not speak the country's language fluently?.It really boggles my mind.C'mon.If I were to live in Germany then I'd make sure that I could speak German before moving over there. That's a crying shame.Shame on him for not speaking English while living all this time in America.I reckon that many of these illegal immigrants from Hispanic communities just don't seem to care to learn the language or to assimilate to our culture and traditions. They give us the impression that all that they want is the benefits that the country has to offer them.I guess immigration on both countries should deport the ones who've been living in the country illegally for many years and can't speak the language or don't wanna assimilate. There's just no excuse for not learning the language during all this time that he had lived in America.\nOn the other hand these people are morons for trying to go to Canada.Canada's immigration laws are pretty restricted and even tougher than in the United States.Canada will never give them a heart felt warm welcome and they should know better. They should know that Canada is a POINT OF NO RETURN.

It seems that Trudeau is guilty a false advertising... what a joke. Trudeau kept promoting this anti Trump liberal persona and at the end of the way it’s all a bunch of marketing lies. What a tool.
2018-02-15 0
Seems we're not alone in the broken immigration system game. For the politicians, it's bills, laws and numbers. They forget there are names, faces, real live HUMAN BEINGS attached.
2018-02-13 0
Their head dress and berkas are drawing attention to these people because of their cultures and what it means to women. These things put people in bondage and seem very threatening. They are forced to ware them in their own country’s and they come here and some are demanding that our culture should adapt. Especially in Europe. These people represent problems etc.. I am scared of these people. I’m free. I don’t want to bow to their God or their culture. Like I said try this test in their own country’s. I have no problem with blacks or aboriginal people. I realize there are radicals too. The Muslim people try to show a superior attitude and think they are right and want to force their culture on other countries. I don’t trust any of them.

Can we start showing imagrants form other countries who also never bother to lean English thanks. People seem to think it's only Mexican imagrants who don't learn English when it's everyone. Serious. Thanks.\n\nAlso I'd like to add french might be easier to start as his second language as it's very similar to french. ?

CBC is bias all liberal Everyone should read what Australian Prime Minister has to say They can always make a choice to leave.Need to appreciate Canada This seems as a Race Baiting Channel
2018-02-11 0
Yup its because they label him a criminal. Although the truth is that is not the case. He make money for himself and the country he works in but his not an engineer, doctor and or millionare. a lot of billionaire chinses live there. Its seems its being rich or poor
2018-02-03 8
I don't know if I like being a lefty anymore. Seems like a bunch of false hopes
2018-02-03 0
what perplexes me than even after staying in US as he say for last 15 years, he still speaks Spanish and seems to haven't learn a single word of English.
2018-02-02 0
He seems to speak English very well LMFAO, welcome to Canada :/
2018-02-02 0
This guy seems to be a very good worker, sometimes it seems that refugees are even better workers than original people
2018-02-01 15
So he sneaks into the US and stays for 15 years illegally. And didn't pick up any English in that time? Or didn't bother. Then he decides to illegally enter Canada. Unlike his extended illegal stay in the US, he went through the proper legal process in Canada and was rejected. Then skipped a meeting with officials and moved his family and by doing so, cheated the system, thus expending his illegal stay.\nWhy am I supposed to feel sorry for him? Seems like he's an opportunist and a career criminal.
2018-01-28 0
Seem to come out better as an illegal immigrant just as long as you don’t get caught than actual everyone that works
2017-11-28 0
Wait.... So you had to fabricate racism to prove that it exists?? Seems legit.
2017-11-26 0
All the people calling this race baiting don't understand that this happens daily to minority. Seems only whites have an issue with this
2017-11-24 0
There doesn't seem to be any gratitude among the Muslims, any humble thankfulness to the host countries at all. Instead there is this attitude that the host country is going to do just what Muslims want them to do, that they're not going to assimilate and try to fit in in any way whatsoever. And beyond that they're not shy about their plans on dominating the culture of the host country , disregarding the law, and setting up Sharia law instead. Those people have to go. Deport them now before they become an even greater problem.
