America has fought HARD for centuries to achieve freedom. We’ve shed infinite amounts of blood for the rights we have. Freedom isn’t free. It takes centuries to get to that. People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

If we want to help ourselves, and feed, house and deal with the homeless problems. We will need to get Biden out of the White House.

The sad thing about ppl talking about how many homeless we have as being a reason why we can’t allow legal immigration is that we have more than enough vacant housing for the entire homeless population. What we don’t have are jobs, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, and healthcare to get the homeless off the streets.

The thing is, these people have no legal right to entry, regardless of their circumstances. 99% of those charging the boarder are economic migrants with no valid claim to asylum. Making it here (or past the boarder) doesn’t equal being able to stay here. The house will very likely flip to the Republicans in 2024. With even a possible super majority. As will the presidency. This means that most of these people will face mass deportation. And all their struggles to get here will have been for naught.

I don't think they're doing this to be charitable to families, none of this even appears to be normal over the years. They can't house them, or our own people. Something tells me they're waiting to use these people for something, and they got no clue what they're really crossing over into. There's just no conclusion you could come to that's just being charitable if it's messing up all of our lives no matter who you are.

If these people are using asylum as their reason for leaving their own countries of origin why are they not applying for asylum in the first country that they invaded that does offer asylum protection, Instead they travel straight thru to invade our country and burden Americans and selfishly block legal entry immigrants and selfishly block all Americans homeless in the streets because of their willing to work for less wages disruptive to Americans from being able to support ourselves house ourselves because resources designed for helping us has been diverted to illegal aliens invading our country because the truth is that it's an invasion from 150 some odd countries and even housing is using excuses to remove Americans from participating in housing aid for the soul purpose of creating space for them by ousting Americans from taxpayers dollars design for being used on us

Instead of the Biden administration sending endless billions of dollars to other countries to feed their dirty business deals, maybe we could send that money to other countries as TRUE foreign aid to help them build up their own water supply, food, medical and housing. I live in Calgary, Alberta 3 hours from Edmonton and what she is saying been a fact. WS especially feel slighted with the heavy immigration yearly as if they are being pushed out or replaced. I mostly do gig work so I don't have to deal with job market as is. They have alot of immigrants with 1 or 2 degrees working security, house cleaning with no way out and paying taxes to sustain their aging Canadian Caucasian population (45-80 year old) . It is in my opinion your typical ponzi scheme type hustle. The good paying jobs are given to them folks while you import highly educated populations from other countries and keep them at dead-end jobs like the US.

The border should be closed permanently. The entire asylum program has been overrun and is unaffordable. None of these people should be able to enter until all US citizens who are homeless are housed first.
