Look at the real state market. \nCanadian citizens are unable to buy houses because of the spring prices , and the high prices are due to student boarding housing . The city I live has been over run buy East Indian students and these rich big city East Indians are buying the housing market up then renting each room for $600 a month but but also have people sleeping on floors with about 10-15 people living in each home. \n\nWhy isn't the government fixing this ?

Only thing I want to point out: College/University isn't really cheaper in Canada. The thing is US has a lot of high end Ivy League schools that have been around for centuries and you are basically paying extra to be able to put that school on your resume. In terms of the normal non rich folk schools its the same for cost as well as our community colleges. Also your scholarships are way higher in value than ours could ever dream of being.

Pay is relative. The cost of living in India isn't $3000 CDN/month. So why would you expect that salary?

What I have noticed all my life living in Canada is Caucasians don't like hearing the truth about anything where they are feel they are being made to look like the villain, but the objective is not to make anyone feel like they're on trial but to start acknowledging that this is going on regardless of if you've ever experienced/seen it or not. The reason Caucasians don't see it is because of what they call White Privilege. Caucasians will never have to deal with the subtleties of racism that minorities face everyday because they will never be treated that way even in other countries they visit or live. Many Caucasians aren't aware that stereotyping is racism as you will notice them say the weirdest things and make really weird assumptions like calling a Korean woman Chinese or mistaking a Hindu or Sikh for someone Islamic, which you should never do. Cultural insensitivity happens here because many Caucasians don't care much to learn about another culture and because of this there's it's creating even more issues. The race problem is Canada is huge and people are trying to say that it isn't but in the coming years more and more evidence is going to come out to the point where it will be irrefutable and there will either be a reform or civil war.

Honestly, it's hard to say. These men are not equal in looks in my opinion. There's something to say about attractive people getting preferential treatment. Not that there isn't racism. There definitely is. But it's hard to quantify with these experiments.

It's so blatant what's going on now. This isn't about race. This is about divide. Whoever these people are who are telling what these companies/media to say are clearly trying to get us fighting each other. It really seems like they're trying to divert attention. Racism exists the world over in every country and if you go looking for it you will find it even in the most tolerant nation, not saying that is or isn't Canada.

I think Canada’s proximity to the USA desensitized us to its problems. Canadians have a long history of defining themselves by the fact that they are NOT American but that doesn’t shield us from the fact that we have some growing to do. We have generally more socially favorable welfare programs than the US but that doesn’t mean there isn’t systematic racism, it just means it’s shown and expressed in different ways

I'm calling bs. I grew up in Scarborough, the schools in my area were mixed Caribbean, Canadian, European, Indian (and other South asain), Chinese (and other East Asian), middle Eastern, African, Latino, everyone went to the same school. Everyone's families were and are poor going through the same struggle. By the time I got to highschool I took the higher level courses, I went to class everyday, I wasn't a smart kid I didn't get to uni, I took a bridging program in college and got into uni. It's not hard to climb the latter in Canada if you work for it. Meanwhile at the same school a large percentage of Carribean and Somalian black students do not go to class, they skip, they dont care. In fact these same kids picked and made fun of the Asian kids that did go to school. They have zero respect imo. You can call me whatever you want I am just speaking my personal experience. School never seemed like a priority to them. I'm not Chinese or Indian but those 2 cultures always seemed like the hardest working. Those kids went to every class and got the best grades. Again Caribbean and Somalian black students in my area were more likely to be distruptive in class and get into fights. As were Greek kids and Canadian/Irish white kids. I am only pointing out the black students in relation to this video. Personal accountability is important, I don't disagree there is problems with the system but let's not act like there isn't a problem within black and even poor white culture itself. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror.

You're an Oregon if you open your bag Portland Oregon and they are wrong and there's nothing in your bag and they're racially profiling you you get sued I had a neighbor that happened to and he got some money from the Albertson's for the singing thing it isn't cool and my roommate was dark-skinned in I think he was Italian or something but they thought he was Puerto Rican

I feel for anyone being discriminated against, here its really hard to get an apartment if you are on assistance, ODSP. Is for disability of many types. All you need to do to see it is go on kijiji. Students and working individuals. And you might think they have their reasons but I have paid my bills. I am quiet, if that isn't discrimination. Enough said. That guy is a scared guy. The unspoken assumption seems to be that racism is a white problem. Yet across the years I have listened to Black and Chinese people express opinions which, coming from a white person, would have meant a day in court charged with the willful promotion of hatred.\n\nFurthermore, the young woman who has difficulty with people asking where she is from might want to consider the possibility that the other party is genuinely interested in learning more about her as a person. This happened in the US but I was working at Panera and two really nice ladies wearing burkas came to order some food and the old white guy cashiering refuses to cash them out because of what they are wearing. \n\nThat's straight up discrimination, I hope they didn't know why he wouldn't served them because that's horrible and he should feel ashamed. That was the first time I witnessed discrimination and I couldn't believe someone would do that, but I see it's common everywhere, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I was going to buy her the items she was trying on. When I went to see if they fit I see that she had pulled of the tags. She must have learned this from her mother. Sham full what you are pedaling.
