I always wonder how does Canada welcome 440,000 immigrants coming from overseas every year despite the housing crisis, lack of adequate jobs, poor health care system with very less number of doctors & health practitioners, weak economy, expensive cost of living triggering people to skip meals and leading them to malnutrition, extravagant taxation and very restrictive policy on hiring professional workers. Canada is NOT the best country in the world and it is getting worse with the present authoritarian Trudeau government where your bank account, investments and insurance can be frozen by the government. Where you can be denied entry into places and work because of not complying with government mandates. Where the government corruption is becoming more evident each day. Where taxation is high but opportunities are low. Where housing is unaffordable and scarce. Where the police are ordered to be abusive under the governments request. Canada is a mess and there are many different countries that are better. Hopefully a change in government will make Canada one of the best.

Cost me a $ million for hospital & med care. Guess if u pay taxes & never get sick then it must suck. In USA we have shootings every day & wkly mass shootings. We in USA can wait 8 hrs in ER also then u have a huge bill for it. If we could take the both good ideas of each. Ambulance costs over $1,000 & with covid, flu & RSV ERs r full. The problem with mankind is that we all forget to thank God for little mercies. We focus only on what we lack but not thankful for the little we have. That foundation in Nigeria, that good culture, in Nigeria, that Nija intelligence, that Nija confido is what makes it easy to emigrate out of Nija and do well anywhere in the world seamlessly. So we gained plenty from Nija just that we FOCUS on the things we don't have and such spirit of ingratitude may not enable us change Nija system. So ingratitude is the issue too.
